The duplicity from everyone in this clan that comes here and tries to get the =BFG= server added to our systems casts a shadow over the integrity of the clan as a whole, and although some "back door" methods have been used to get accounts and in this case the server added to our systems, I am telling you all, once and for all that the =BFG= clan is not welcome to stream via PBBans. When you use an underhand method to bypass our checks, its only a matter of time before it's found out and dealt with. This is a privately run anti cheat site and using our services is not a right. Hi Mazellan :) You do realise that even if the demo was the most perfect example of a cheat, there is nothing that can be done because your server does not stream to PBBans, this means that all that can happen is a local ban can be applied by you. If you were streaming and an undetected cheat was submitted via a demo to PBBans, the pbguid of the offender would be placed on the Master Ban Index (MBI) and once that happens all PBBans streaming servers would have their pbbans.dat updated within 1 second of the ban being added to the MBI. Streaming gives you access to the PBBans Master Config Index (MCI) which is a comprehensive list of the latest cvar/md5 scans that will ensure your server has as clean a gaming environment as is possible. The MCI is updated as and when new cheats are released. The PBBans Hub can also help detect private paid for cheats. The PBBans Hub uses a new method of initiating streaming that will happily run alongside any existing streaming that you may have in place. All it takes is a few rcon commands to initiate streaming http://www.pbbans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=29047 Give it a try and take a look at a modern, effective way of keeping your server(s) clean. :) if you think streaming sucks you can always stop it any time you like.

Why not go and ask PunkBuster about it. PUNKBUSTER.COM Last time I looked bf2 was not a free game, and who are we to deprive the game devs of some $$$ Let me reitterate what I have posted already; The one constant that can not be spoofed is the players pbguid allocated by the server when the player connects to it. It is this one constant that is used by all privately run anti cheat sites to manage bans.

PB commands are the same for nigh on every PB supported game :) COD series manual or you can stick this on your desktop as a handy reference guide: pbcommands.txt It's also worth remembering that a decent remote rcon tool is a Godsend for server admins and any game specific or PB command can be sent to the server via remote rcon. Thats because clan id's are used by www.punksbusted.com and not www.pbbans.comFortunately you can stream a server to both sites, it's your choice. Most IP's are dynamic these days and for every static IP you come across there will be a thousand dynamic IP's. The one constant that is totally secure is the pbguid assigned by the server when a player connects. All anti cheat sites use this one constant to apply bans. For free games that are PB supported i.e ET / FEAR / WARROCK its particularly frustrating having the same player banned time and time again but imo its up to PB to make it a lot harder to attain a new cd key for these games,and to apply hardware bans to serial cheaters like the guy your posting about. I personally ban any static IP I come across that has a cheat conviction on servers I run. btw your duplicate account has been deleted.
