First the easy part :)
PB commands are pretty much universal for every game.
For Vegas I would say the PB webtool interface is the best for issuing PB commands, there is a section aimed at FEAR admins here PBBans Downloads that explains how to set this up.
Now for a quick explanation of vegas and PB :blink:
Right from the outset UBI concentrated on the console version of games the company released, the PC version is pretty much the "poor relation".
This scenario is especially true when it comes to running a Vegas server with PB enabled.
UBI need to release a mega patch to at least give the game a chance of being able to run alongside PB with any effect.
Based on past UBI experiences that will never happen.
Summary:
PB anti cheat software is the best out there, and when complimented with checks provided by an anti cheat site such as PBBans it becomes a hell of a lot more effective.
If the game itself is "flawed" then no matter how good the anti cheat software is, it will struggle.
You can try opening a troubleticket with PB and ask a few questions click me but I think your questions would be better aimed at UBI themselves.
Pity they dont give 2 hoots about anything once they have your hard earned $ in their pockets.

Rejoin the server.
When the kick message is displayed press "print screen" key.
Paste into paint.
Save as jpeg.
Upload here.
Also state the last 8 of your pbguid and what game we are talking about.
The lack of info in your profile makes it all the more harder to help you out.

I was kicked for that like less than 10 minutes ago. Im a 99 honor with no reason to cheat or anything. Umm I run vista and have a directX 10 card I cant even take my own ss or nothing without them being black can someone look into this and let me nkow what is gonig on please..? You need to ask 1 question.
Is this a valid violation.
If the answer is yes .. ban stays on the MBI.
If the answer is no .. the ban will be removed from our systems.

i play a game called enemy territory and for the past few days the same guy comes on this server and keeps haxing but what can i do about it i got hes guid but idk no what to do with it i just don't know thats why i come here for help please help me thanks sean
If your the server admin, get it streaming asap.
If your not the server admin get in touch with him and let him know we exist.

Well this certainly isn't noob friendly help I can confirm that being a noob.
step 3 Edit your pbsv.cfg and add this command line pb_sv_load pbbans_hub.cfg
Where can I find the pbsv.cfg and why doesn't the help guide you link me to tell me where it is. I have no clue what that is, all of a sudden the steps just jump to Edit your pbsv.cfg and expects you to know what and where that is. I didn't even have a FTP program on my computer. In doing this I had to contact my server provider to get FTP access and do all kinds of crap. This is taking me forever. If you want a noob to catch a hack you're going to have to get alot more elementary than this.
EDIT: Alright...I got this file off my server provider. I did not know I had to do that! So frustrating. Now in step 5 it tells me to go ot rcon or something but I have no idea what that is either.
So much for this being easy to set up.
At least take a cursory look at the pb manual provided before jumping in at the deep end.
If you dont know what rcon (remote console) is, or a pbsv.cfg (punkbuster server configuration file) I would say that a brush up on the very basics of administration of a games server is an urgent neccessity here.

In my personal opinion, you can't ban somebody and accuse him of cheating only with a screenshot of "decent" or "good" headshot numbers.
And hit and shots ratio it's 230/783.. well yes there are humanized bots but... still it doesn't mean something enough good to ban a player.
proof positive = ban
Anything not proof positive, the player always gets the benefit of the doubt :)
( i.e. a screenshot showing a decent headshot ratio)
Its just a statement of fact that streaming and running anti cheat cvar/md5 scans weeds out those with downloaded skllls from the truly skilled players, and is the only way to go if you want to keep your server(s) as cheat free as humanly possible.

it was a valid MS openGL32.dll that was in your game directory and not a cheat one .. ban removed.
point of info;
As stated above, a lot of cheats use openGl.dll's and this type of .dll has no place in a game directory, so dont be surprised if you pick up a ban and are asked questions later.

I looked briefly but haven't seen any posts yet. I am an admin on a server that doesn't stream. We have collected a few PBSS of players using maphacks. Can I post those here somewhere? I'm sure I can, forgive me for being n00b but after setting up 4 servers to stream and site seeing here...I'm beat lol.
A quote, direct from the PBBans TOS:
4.2 Submissions of screenshots and demo catches by participating SGA will not be accepted unless your server is currently streaming to PBBans. This is a mandatory and necessary precaution to ensure that the screenshots and demos being submitted have not been altered in any way.

openGL32.dll has no place what so ever in a players game directory and is in fact used by many cheats ... you have an appeal that is ongoing at the moment and should have waited for the result before posting on the forums .. when your appeal has been reviewed I will re-open this thread, till then it stays closed.
