I just wanted you to know that last Wednesday Sabret passed away from pneumonia stemming from an infection. I know many of you here knew and worked with her.
We have a farewell thread going on the SCS website in case any one wishes to visit.
Her school and the Chesapeake Brass Band of which she was a part are planning a walk through at Cedar Lane Elementary school where she was a teacher on April 09th. Her Father also died last week from cancer. I have told the rest of her family about Laura's gaming life and contributions.
Myself and the rest of her SCS clanmates are deeply saddened as I'm sure all of you who knew her are.

I have been awol with some health issues myself and was deeply shocked to pop in here and be greeted with this news.
Sabret was recruited as a PBBans staff member 4 years ago, primarily as a league coordinator/ league advisor.
After a short while she offered some of her free time to assist in other aspects of the PBBans "behind the scenes" workload and turned out to be a quick learner with a natural practical ability for anti cheat work.
Always fair minded, honest and straight, she will be sorely missed by the rest of the staff.

Your friend triggered a cheat violation via punkbuster software.
Even Balance who are the creators and maintainers of punkbuster software always have the last say when an appeal is made concerning their own software.
Your friends appeal was made on June 04, 2014 (a full 8 months after being detected) and he got a reply the very same day from an Even Balance staff member;06/04/2014 05:25:17 - "Alex J"
Note #2: We do not find this violation to be triggered in error, and it will not be removed. It is at the discretion of the third-party ban list administrator to remove any ban given as a result of this violation.We never lift valid bans.
If your friend wants to play on PBBans protected servers he will need a new Origin account and a new game. -
I jumped on this morning to check for any new replies to my help request... only to find that my username and email address were no longer associated with any account? What the heck?
Sorry if this isn't the right forum to put it, wasn't sure where to post (original post was regarding BF4).
We had an issue with new forum registrants over the last 3 days or so.
Everyone who registered during that time period will have to re-register so our basic vetting procedures can be instigated.
This is a necessity because the basic forum account and its unique ID number is tied to a lot more than just being able to post on our forums.

It is a server admins choice to enforce any external ban list (EBL).
The feature is only available to admins that stream servers and not every streaming server admin chooses to enable that particular option.
Apart from posting a message on the Respected Admins shoutbox, what other contact method have you tried ?
Have you contacted the admin of the server you are having a problem joining ? -
I was banned by punkbuster for trying to get another person in chat to not say a racial slur. I did say that slur but didnt think i would get banned over it. I have contacted the servers admins and they have lifted the ban on their part but i would like to know if i could get unbanned by punkbuster. i have the forums thread to prove that i was unbanned on their end. this is the link http://tbgclan.com/threads/appealing-my-ban.39774/#post-255879
PBBans do not hold a ban on your BF4 pbguid.
I can not find any ban related to you on any other third party ban list.
Your BF4 pbguid is not globally banned by Even Balance.
Conclusion:
If you are banned from a server it is a locally applied ban that has been made by the server admin(s)
You will need to contact the admins of the server you are experiencing difficulties joining and iron out your issue with them.

But 2 minutes later he can join the official server he was caught on and not get kicked because BF4 official servers ignore UCON commands so the enforce bans feature is useless on official servers.
Official servers support cheaters.

As mentioned earlier, we do our utmost to maintain ban list integrity and that includes every full streaming admin meeting the requirements required for full streaming.
The requirements were put in place after some hard learned lessons 7 years ago and there are no exceptions.

You always use the rcon/query port to set things up.
You always use the actual game/join port when adding to a team account.

Just off the top of my head.
Even Balance have dropped support for the COD series but you can still run PB enabled servers.
By using the legacy PB files in the PBBans downloads section a server admin can prevent;
keygen users joining their servers.
pbguid spoofers using their servers.
A server admin can also utilize;
MD5 cheat related scans.
cvar cheat related scans.
PB screenshots that can be verified as untampered with.
Ingame demo's that can be verified as untampered with.
PBBans streaming servers are also subject to generic cvar scans and, exclusive to PBBans, cheat file matches.
As always, there are still players raising valid PB cheat violations and still being added to the PBBans ban list.

There is the PBBans Hub "live" feature and probably a lot more to list if I had time to waste researching pros and cons of running PB enabled COD4 servers V no PB COD4 servers.

Cons of running PB enabled COD4 servers = it requires a little effort to get things up and running.
Pros of running none PB enabled COD4 servers = it takes no effort to get a server up and running.
Cons of running none PB enabled COD4 servers = you attract all the riff raff that the game has to offer and none of the above is applicable to you.What's the point of having admins on a server with no PB 24/7 :unsure: no matter how many cheaters / undesirables you get rid of, they can reconnect within a minute with no problem what so ever.
Strikes me that it's not the server admins streaming here with a problem :P

Screenshots can be easily faked so no staff member will comment on a screenshot that comes from an outside source and has no streamed log data to authenticate it as a genuine screenshot that has not been tampered with.
We have a dedicated forum section that deals exclusively with screenshot submissions, and staff members that deal with screenshot submissions week in, week out.
This forum section is only available to server admins that stream their servers via the PBBans Hub.

If a particular issue affected the streaming status of BF4 servers then none would be streaming :P .... as your issue is specific to you alone the standard copy/paste reply is;
All none streaming issues are client side.
The first thing to do when a server just stops streaming is to run the Automated Hub Setup again;

If you are having to go through the setup procedure every time the server restarts, it's obvious that your server is on a "crontab" of sorts and the server is loading a default cfg that does not contain your streaming commands that you sent to it in the setup phase, or your streaming settings are being held in a file that is not loaded by default after a server restart.
If you can not figure it out yourself, raise a ticket with your RSP and tell them what your issue is .. hopefully they can then sort it out for you :)
The correct file system within your PB directory should be;
pbsv.cfg - contains all your PB server settings (including your pbucon settings)
pbsvuser.cfg - contains all the scans (MD5 etc) that a server admin wishes to run on his server.
pbucon.use - is a file that is only needed to run pbucon and is best left blank. -
Seeing as your global ban has been issued by Even Balance it is only Even Balance who can answer your questions.
If you have opened a troubleticket wait for them to reply to it.
If you have a complaint about metabans I would suggest posting on the metabans forums to complain;
PBBans can not do anything about a global ban.
Posting on PBBans forums about a metabans issue will not help you in any way either.

I would like to start by saying this is not an ultimatum but a choice on my part.
I would like to apologize to ACI and more specifically to Soldier for asking all members to abandon ACI. I also would like to apologize to soldier for demanding that he step down as staff, I was completely out of line and acted stupidly. I’m doing this for the best of all groups and individuals involved. Please accept this apology, as my deepest regret and I’m sorry.
May the staff at ACI find it in there soul to forgive my disgrace and allow me to be apart of the community again

Our rules are quite simple here re forum accounts.
1 forum account per user.
The furious.cro forum account has been deactivated because he already has an active forum account as well as another forum account that was also deactivated.
Guys ... if your going to deliberately flout our forum rules it will mean that you will lose this avenue of discussion and any assistance we can give.
It will also result in every post you made using your duplicate forum account being removed.

Thats why I dont think that they are willing to look at anything that you bring to the table ... not via the appeal ticket (but feel free to prove me wrong)
From what I can gather the EB staff member responsible for dealing with troubleticket appeals claiming that there has been an error, only checks that the appellants pbguid triggered a particular detection pattern thus raising a cheat violation by checking logs on their side of things.
If the logs show multiple triggers over the "silent logging" phase then PB software has done its job and the standard copy/paste job reply you see applies to all.
It is another EB staff member who will take the lead in any investigation and collate all the information provided on the troubleticket to try and find a common denominator that may be a factor in declaring a false positive.
The last thing EB want to see is innocent players getting globally banned so they are normally pretty quick if there is any room for doubt, but you guys being the exception to the norm are not going to provide enough for any comparisons etc if the majority of the troubletickets that pertain to a particular cheat violation just contain rants and threats.

The problem that I see day after day on ban appeals that have used the PBBans appeals system is players ranting / threatening legal action / whining etc etc is that they actually bring nothing at all to the table to assist Even Balance staff to pinpoint any possible issue.
Globalguid bans are issued and maintained exclusively by Even Balance. no amount of posting on here is going to help anyone.
PBBans is not Even Balance.
PBBans is not affiliated to Even Balance.
Instead of posting how rubbish PB is on here why not help yourselves and update your Even Balance troubleticket with a list of processes that you always have running in the background when your gaming.
Bear in mind that globalguid bans are issued after a period of silent logging so if you have removed anything from your pc in the last few weeks it's probably best practice to include those programs too.
jmp909 appears on the anticheat inc and ggc-stream ban lists, you do not appear on the PBBans ban list

Recipients of a BF3 globalguid ban can not join any BF3 PB enabled server regardless of whether they appear on a third party ban list or not.

How many times do you need telling.
Even Balance have globally banned your BF3 pbguid.
Even Balance staff do not have access to this forum section.
PBBans is not affiliated or part of Even Balance.
PBBans is not punkbuster.
Global GUID bans are issued and maintained, exclusively by Even Balance.
Third party anti cheat sites such as PBBans have no input nor control what so ever re global GUID bans, so using the PBBans appeal system to appeal a globally banned GUID is useless for all parties involved.
A troubleticket with Even Balance is the only thing that can help you. Make sure to add any information to it that you think will help your cause (don't forget your GUID). Also make sure that you have told Even Balance that your ban is a global GUID ban.
