[Banned in BF3 -- Will I be banned in BF4?]

First, please spare me the skeptical, cynical remarks about me being a hacker and trying to cover it up. Second, the story goes that I was falsely banned earlier this year because my origin account was hacked while I was inactive and, once I returned to BF3, found out that my GUID was added to the MBI for aimbotting. http://www.pbbans.com/mbi-viewban-1b7bccea-vb303529.html.

More to the point, I want to know if I decide to buy BF4 on the same origin account, am I going to be throwing away $60 or am I safe to play? And if not, will creating a new origin account resolve the issue or do bans work across IP addresses? In the previous thread I just linked, I was advised that purchasing a new game key on the same origin account would allow me to play BF3 -- which I did -- only to find out that I would also be banned across all BF3 keys on the same origin/battlelog account (not sure which it's linked to). 

 

Any real, non-sarcastic help would be greatly appreciated :)

 

P.S. Sorry for the defensive tone, but my experience so far seems to be that people can't wait to tell me how full of sh*t I am. 

I fail to see any post telling you that you are full of sh*t.

It is quite obvious to anyone that cared to look that your Origin account and BF3 pbguid were compromised by players with IP addresses that resolve to China and Russia.

It was the Russian IP address that triggered the global ban on your pbguid.

BF3 / MOH:Warfighter and BF4 all share the same pbguid.

There is an option for PBBans admins to enforce cross game bans.

This means that if a pbguid picked up a ban in BF3, server admins have the option to enforce that same ban on their MOH:Warfighter and BF4 servers.

Not every server admin has this feature enabled and it is entirely the server admins option whether to do so, it is not on by default.

When you last visited here about the BF3 ban, no one had any idea if BF4 would use the same pbguid and it was only after the retail release of BF4 when we found out for sure.

 

If you intend buying BF4 you should first create a new Origin account, follow all the advice given to you when you first posted up about the BF3 ban re keeping your Origin account secure, and then start totally from scratch with a brand new soldier.

Any chance a admin could please have a look at my server setup i have followed the autohub setup and restarted the server with the the ucon profiles added to the pb folder but its showing that we are not streaming

I have added the correct address to your team account and it's streaming nicely.

I have left the wrong address on your team account so you can see were you went wrong, just delete it via account manager once you have taken a peek.

I have run the automated setup numerous times and can not get our NFO server to stream. PB is up and running but no luck yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why does Even Balance wait then for the cheats to tail off ?  Why not ban them as soon as they appear ?

Because as soon as the detections start rolling in the cheat coders start work on changing their cheat code.

Even Balance do not want to catch a handful when they can catch a shed load :P

It is always a game of cat and mouse and the object of the exercise is to inflict maximum damage on cheat users, silent logging does just that.

Even Balance obtain private/paid for cheats and initiate "silent logging"
Every time someone uses their "undetectable" cheat, that players pbguid is logged and no further action is taken.
When the detections tail off, Even Balance issue a cheat violation on every pbguid that was detected during the silent logging phase.
That's why we see a lot of Even Balance detections come in "en masse".

Cheaters never know if their pbguid is being silently logged as cheat users.
Even Balance inflict maximum damage on the cheat users.

[BF4 Streaming Support now Available]

MaydaX rented an NFO server out of his own pocket so he could troubleshoot PB issues on our behalf.

Requested that PB be updated.

Got a link to one of his own posts as an explanation as to why they can not update PB;

MaydaX has the updated PB files but has no way to upload them.

We have no server files so no way to effectively debug anything.

We are totally reliant on RSPs to update anything and they have a basic grasp of PB at best, and not a lot of knowledge re streaming.

Meanwhile, cheat sites have had the server files for quite some time and are promising that cheats will be available on day1 of retail release.

Sound familiar anyone.

This type of issue has become "old news" over the last few Battlefield releases ... it's what happens when cheat sites have access to the server files and anti cheat sites have access to nothing, so nothing can be debugged prior to retail release.

I just got a 10 slot test server but there are no ucon errors in the pb logs which makes be believe the IP may be wrong for streaming but I can't seem to find the rcon port.

Doesn't the old school method of working out the rcon port work ?
