I suspect you have added a server to your team account that contains the wrong port.

Your friend has his own PBBans forum account with unique access to a totally private forum section.
He has already posted and received a response and that makes this topic defunct.

With EB logging the bans silently and then issuing the bans once the new bans fall off you will see mass numbers of bans all at once. There is a chance it is a false positive but very, very small. I would say those odds to be realistic are somewhere around 2% to 3% the ban was in error and more likely 97% to 98% the ban was justified and will stand.

Global bans are not handed out like candy, and because global bans are issued and maintained by EB themselves, they take extra care to make sure all is in order before imposing global bans on all those pbguids detected during the silent logging phase.

Global GUID bans are issued and maintained, exclusively by Even Balance.
Third party anti cheat sites such as PBBans have no input nor control what so ever re global GUID bans, so using the PBBans appeal system to appeal a globally banned GUID is useless for all parties involved.
We (PBBans) will deny any appeal made through our systems due to the above reasons. A troubleticket with Even Balance is the only thing that can help you. Make sure to add any information to it that you think will help your cause (don't forget your GUID). Also make sure that you have told Even Balance that your ban is a global GUID ban.
Quick info:
1. Global GUID bans are issued and maintained by Even Balance themselves.
2. Third party anti cheat sites have no input what so ever re global GUID bans.
3. Global GUID bans are normally issued by Even Balance after a period of "silent logging".
4. "silent logging" is when cheat use is detected and logged by PunkBuster software but no action is taken at the time.
5. When the "silent logging" phase is over, Even Balance issue a global GUID ban on every pbguid that was detected during the "silent logging" phase.
6. The only reason your pbguid appears on the PBBans ban list is because you joined a PBBans streaming server direcly after Even Balance activated the global GUID ban on your pbguid.
7. PBBans has actually done you a favour by letting you know that a global GUID ban has been issued on your pbguid by Even Balance, there will be a lot more players who have joined servers that do not stream and will be struggling to find out what happened.
If you feel that you have recieved a global GUID or Hardware ban in error, you may submit a support ticket to Even Balance

You need to familiarize yourself with our procedures.
There are a lot more security related checks at PBBans than anywhere else, one of which is this;
1. You request additional servers to be added to your team account.
2. The servers enter a queue.
3. A PBBans staff member runs security checks on the servers.
4. If all checks out ok the final addition is made by the PBBans staff member.
Please be aware of the colour coding when you check server additions.
You would have recognized instantly that both your servers were tagged "Server is awaiting admin approval"

The bans an anti cheat site issue are when they turn the cheat violations listed here;
#50000s - Aimbot #60000s - Wallhack #70000s - Multihack #80000s - Gamehack #90000s - 'Cheat' Video Drivers #100000s - Speedhack #110000s - Autofire #120000s - Game Hook #130000s - Attempted PunkBuster Hack
from a 2 minute kick into a permanent ban.
That still does not explain why PBBans is connected in any way to metabans as that kick message on the second screenshot implies.

It's quite safe to leave this command line in your pbsv.cfg;
pb_sv_load pbsvlog.cfg
It will only load a pbsvlog.cfg if one exists.
The typical contents of a pbsvlog.cfg are;
pb_sv_LogUser "" //[remote_log_username] pb_sv_LogPw "" //[remote_log_password] pb_sv_LogAddr "***.***.***.***" //[remote_log_address] pb_sv_LogPort ***** //[remote_log_port]
and only used to initiate the ancient method of repository streaming.
repository streaming = old ford model T.
pbucon streaming = aston martin db9

2nd screen shot states linked bans/guids pbbans.
dynamic ip, and looks like the usual someone cant read the mpi list.
I don't know why, we are not affiliated with metabans in any shape or form and I am unfamiliar with their procedures when adding someones pbguid to a ban list.
The server in the second screenshot does not even stream via PBBans.

The screenshot must be taken on a streaming server so that the digital fingerprint and various other security checks can be verified at our end of things.
Not every server streams via PBBans.

Most of the above is irrelevant because you can set IP restrictions via the "Modify Server" tab of your team accounts AccCP

I posted this in response to someone who actually took advantage of the totally private sections of our forum to assist in finding the root cause of why her pbguid raised cheat violation #50710:
Glad it all worked out for you and we appreciate the feedback :)It has taken a lot longer than normal to get to the bottom of this particular issue because the possibility that none cheat software may have been a factor was really very, very, miniscule.
To compound the issue, there was also a lot of cheaters wriggling about in the same net
Hopefully those same cheaters who are rejoicing at the moment will be getting the slap they deserve in the next couple of weeks
A player who had the confidence that being innocent of any wrongdoing brings.
A player who had faith in the anti cheat systems used by the game she plays.
A player who totally agrees with the protocols/procedures PBBans has in place re raised cheat violations.
A player who used those protocols/procedures to assist in finding a root cause.
A player who displayed patience and calmness under pressure.
A player who displayed tenacity, forethought and a willingness to act on given advice.
A player who deserves a big slap on the back for being the only player to see things through to the end / not to rage quit / not to hide under the radar / not to buy a new game key and simply forget things.
A player who had the moral integrity to resign from the league she administrates while things ran their course.
I would like to publically thank SCS_Sabret for being all of the above.
Don't worry I am happily married :P but you deserve a public thank you for all the input/assistance you provided that, in the end, resulted in benefitting the whole COD4 community.
Tactical Clan Competition and the Suicide Commando Squad are lucky to have you within their respective groups.
I would also like to take time out to publically thank Even Balance staff member Nick, despite having to deal with a few personal issues, still took time to fully investigate and eventually find the root cause of the #50710 false positive.

Before we go into any specifics, why are you posting up about a pbguid that has been used by players from Turkey and Croatia and raised a cheat violation back on November 9, 2009

You joined a PBBans protected server with a clean pbguid March 28, 2013 at 0822pm with the same IP as what your posting on this forum with.
Sooo ... whats the deal ?

No.
The only thing uploaded automatically is the streamed log information that contains the digital fingerprint of each screenshot.
You can not submit screenshots from your server anyway because you are Lite streaming.

Hi yesterday i played cb on streamed server, and one guy was scanning like crazy, smoke shooting, in 1 word he was to much obvious. Is there any posibillity to ban this cheater? i dont have screenshoots cause it was their server. but i can send demo here. Waiting for asnwer.
There are differences between Lite streaming and full streaming.
If a server is Lite streaming;
- Player data from servers are not entered into the Master Player Index (MPi).
- New bans are entered into the Unofficial MBi. There are also no ban announcements for any ban added to the Unofficial MBi.
- No PBSS or Demo submissions.
- Streaming Lite Admins have limited access to the Master Player Index (MPi).
- Streaming Lite Admins do not have access to the same forum areas as Streaming Admins.
We have those limitations in place for Lite streaming because one of our most important priorities is to maintain ban list integrity, and the mandatory streaming requirements required for full streaming help us do just that.
The last thing we want to do is have to close down because of lax security issues
Having said that, ClanBase league admins have full autonomy over the ClanBase league account, including an option to create their own ban list that is enforced by the PBBans Hub, so maybe they can help you out :)

The ban you appealed was a ban raised by a German guy using an alias that you have used in the past.
Your pbguid is clean and there are no bans associated to you or your pbguid.
The appeal you made on the German guys pbguid has been deleted as per our Standard Operating Procedure.
This leaves the path clear for the German cheater to make an appeal if he wants to.
We do realize that the only reason you appealed a ban that was nothing to do with you, was after receiving crap advice from a metabans forum member.
Your issue is the result of some metabans noob who did not check out anything before jumping to assumptions.
Feel free to use this post in any communication that you have ongoing with metabans.
