Dear Fellow Gamers, I have never met RodeoBob in person, but have a few PM's and IRC's with him over the years. He has never done or said anything publicly or privately to me that would cause me to doubt his integrity running this site or anything else. I have been watching and listening for years and have been a member at almost Anti-Cheat site out there. I have nothing but respect for RodeoBob, his staff and their decisions. If it would have been me making the decisions anyone coming here and disrespecting the site or any staff would not have been tolerated past one post, but I don't have the patience RB has. After all these years he nor this site deserves the hostile comments it receives from the recently disturbed uh, for lack of a better word, people. I think most people here would get in the trenches with you Bob. Your standing in the A/C community is top notch and a few half-cocked comments and actions will not change that. To me it's like watching a television show. If you don't like the show change the channel and stop crying about the old one and pay attention to the new one. RodeoBob it's your site. You have all of our respect or most of us would not be here. I think most will follow you with whatever you do because of that. So  , don't let them put you in the and start putting the tag on their ass because that's all it is.

Pretty much what =BLACKWOLF= said. You already have all the software you need to prove it. Just keep playing clean is all it takes.

Damn, you mean I could have sold that couch I threw out the cat pissed on as long as I don't tell the buyer the cat pissed on it?

I did say the file I posted was for XP... At least I think I did, if not apologize. I know I have run the dll program on 4 computers, mine and three friends and worked like a charm. RB's suggestion is a good one, too. Thanks Bob.

It is the same as at the MS site, I just put it on my website for quicker and easier access for you guys.

For you guys with the dll errors and are running on xp use this official Microsoft tool that checks for missing dll's and then installs them. http://spotterclan.com/dxwebsetup.exe The beta is a direct console port with pb thrown in. The released version will have better graphics and feel from what I understand. I have mine pre-ordered and will compare the beta to the real thing and let you guys know of the changes that are having doubts. I played a couple of hours last night and when I finally got used to it I did pretty well. For those of you having pb problems you can get a working pb folder below http://spotterclan.com/pb/ It is for the WaW beta only so don't try these files for any other game

My first impression is it is a bit mushy feeling. I know it's a beta and it will be improved. The graphics feel a little different than CoD4, not sure if it's better or worse. Game play is fun and immersing. What do you guys think?

I agree with the movement. Not too bad but could be improved. Biggest thing I noticed is the ability to surround your enemy once you figure out the maps. The tank was cool, too. Really missed these from cod UO. On the argument about if it is called cod5 the answer is no. See video below and if you watch till then end you get to see the zombies that were added to single player. http://www.gametrailers.com/gametrailerstv...p;sd=0&ch=4

Staying full I see!

As Ace said. The matter you speak of we have no control over. This should be directed at http://evenbalance.com They are the makers and publishers of Punkbuster.
-
Make this short and sweet. We bust cheats everyday. They make new cheats everyday. There will always be a new cheat out there not detected. Playing on a streaming server will stop most of the cheaters out there. Playing on a server running Punkbuster alone that does not stream is like playing football naked from the waste down. You might be okay for awhile, but sooner than later someones going to knock your balls off.

I'm for anything that protects kids, parent and their computer equipment :)

Really will depend on the price. SonicWALL already makes hardware that does this and does it very well. It aint cheap, though. http://www.sonicwall.com/us/products/UTM_Firewall_VPN.html

This is great news! No date posted for release of beta?

I only use it for work applications since MS CRM, OCS, Sharepoint and Office 2007 tie into it seamlessly. Firefox for everything else!

I wouldn't mind a sci-fi game based on the new game engine. They would be doing a bad thing to call it Call of Duty anything, though imo. It would be an attempt to sell a game based of a name brand, even though it has little to do with the original name brand. Something Activision would do in a second to sell a game if they had to, but would ruin the brand name. I would most likely buy it anyway, though. I like the game engine.

You would have to first be a streaming game admin (SGA) here and the video would to have been shot on the server you own and stream logs here from. Then you would have to follow the demo submission process after the above. Long story short, if your not an SGA it would not matter what or who is in the video. We could not ban it anyway. You need to get your server streaming to us, it's easy to do and will protect all that use your server.

Welcome aboard Multiplayer League.

I pre-ordered from EB Games with a promise of access to the MP beta, but was never sent an email or link for access.

No Player Data was found for this server?

You are streaming. You will get this message if nobody is on the server when you check with Hub Live. -
As Ben Franklin said: In wine there is wisdom, in beer there is freedom, in water there is bacteria. In a number of carefully controlled trials, scientists have demonstrated that if we drink 1 liter of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli, (E. coli) - bacteria found in feces. In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop. (that's over 2 pounds). However, we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine & beer (or tequila, rum, whiskey or other liquor) because alcohol has to go through a purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting. Remember: Water = Poop, Wine = Health Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid, than to drink water and be full of shit . There is no need to thank me for this valuable information: I'm doing it as a public service

I use both Vista Business and XP. Both are okay, but XP is better for gaming, uses less resources. I worked for Dell when ME was released, what a nightmare. Constant reinstalls. We finally started giving away Win 98. I have run cod4 on Vista with no problem. These are the steps I used to make it work (assuming you have the hardware to run it on Vista and you are the administrator). Install game, but don't run it. Install pbsetup (http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php) and update PB. Start the multiplayer, search for PB enabled server. You appear to be having hardware issues or something running in the background that is interfering/conflicting with the game on start up. Disable all programs, including windows firewall, your anti-virus and spyware and try again to rule out a software problem. Either way it is very hard to troubleshoot a problem of this nature online. If you can't get it working I would install XP on a separate drive or partition for gaming and use Vista for everything else.
