    No. Not possible.

     

    On that note we do not ban for "suspicious" Cvars. Nor for any suspicions. http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=info.php

    Our bans are based on streamed evidence. Cheat cvars are part of downloaded cheats (and we know which one for each ban), not of a game (noth to do with SP /god etc. or cheat protected MP-game-cvars. Misconception.).

    it is a known bug, there is no known solution though.

     

    i would try to change ingame gfx and texture settings (options menu), as screen_mode/refresh_rate/texture_quality/texture_filter/anisotropic_filtering_mode ... to slightly lower rather than higher quality settings preferably.

     

    Another trace to follow are system Video Driver settings (nvcplui.exe), in particular Anisotropic_Filter and Antialiasing settings (turn off subsequently).

     

     

    i was able to reproduce something similar in cod5 ... live and ingame ;p at the time the game went tits up with 5-15 FPS and was about to hang/freeze

    I made a very big mistake. There was a player whose name is not remembered by me. and that player was killing me eventhough i hide out very well. Strictly, he was using hack and i got annoyed.. Angry, i gave in to temptation and i downloaded a casual cheat program in order to counteract him. However, i swear, my intention was to use it only once. Believe me. I swear.. After joining the server, punkbuster banned me instantly. I can join another servers but i can't join the server where i was banned. I am very very upset, sorry and regretful.. :(

    The cheat was not like SUPER SHOOT or HIGH JUMP etc. It was minimap cheat which shows who is where in minimap.

    What should i do?

    1. Read 2. Buy a new copy of the game.

    Complain at the origin of failure (ggc) not here then, you do not have the slightest clue what you are talking about.

    i'm sure they can teach you how a pb_sv_md5tool violation works respectively how it fails :S

     

     

    advertising cheats will not be tolerated here, edit and instant LOCK follows.

    1 saved soul afterall? ^_^ it is sort of clear what we do here http://www.pbbans.com http://www.pbbans.com/about-pbbans.html , we are a PunkBuster support site over all PunkBuster supported games, no support site for any game in particular. Our database reflects what PunkBuster-Server logs during gameplay, IPs and Nicknames always have to be rated "additional information", in fact a Nickname is a text-string that is logged when players connect/disconnect, nothing more.

    Game-Features whatsoever, like Game-IDs, Logins, accounts, stats, rankings etcpp. are entirely out of our control, our access level on these is the same as anybody's.

     

    Nevertheless a database build from information collected by streaming servers reflects what happened visibly to PunkBuster-Server, though this information is neither a chain of causal relations nor even without ambiguity, it still is a record with probative force that would break if it would be edited to fit external factors (without any probative force).

     

    It just has to be read and interpreted accordingly.

    To convict a cheater, a Violation Log ->PBSV: VIOLATION (GAMEHACK) #80324: Myst|fy^au (slot #12) Violation (GAMEHACK) #80324 [b33904df8ee0af3e317f05afd2ddcac1(-) 119.225.96.133:2826] has to match a suspected player, any additional information has to be reviewed for match and discrepancy, vice versa MPi is a tool to find past violations. The DBase is build on GUIDs, these are linked via IPs. SGA have advanced options like GUID-History and IP-History searches at their hands, additional information like IP@Date+Time, or Nickname+ISP@Date+Time+Server etc. may help to identify a cheater, e.g. to match a current clean guid with a previous ban. Same name = same person is an incorrect simplification and in short utter nonsense.

    So how do I get my name ([omo]wobblyboot) off the banned guid alias list?

    it is not your name. Proof: someone else used it. Pretty simple, isnt it?

     

    Sorry, but i already gave up hope average betafield-noob might finally figure what a guid is, as they keep on coming up with figments of imagination, like "account"s where none are.

    But i was supporting to entirely remove name-search from MPi to cut down continuing misuse/abuse.

     

    Bottomline there is nothing like a unique Nick, and we will not manipulate reality to heal PeeWee's world when it's broken.

    Bah, stop using silly name-searches, all it proves is, that betafield-nicks are not unique ... we ban GUIDs, in no shape or form nicknames, IPs, persons or anything.

    Nur dass Du außer Realitätsverlust, durchschaubarem Suggestivgefasel (na wo sind sie den die Fakten, unsichtbar?) und anderem semi-humanoiden Gelaber, und zwar monatelangem unausgesetztem, nichts anzubieten hast. Das macht aber nichts, ich hör' eh nicht mehr hin, gleiches gilt für die ständigen PMs an den gesamten Staff, dazu 1 stellvertretende, gleichwohl sehr repräsentative Reaktion: "I don't even bother trying to read his posts anymore".

    Muss wohl eine Art religiös-ideologisches Anliegen sein.

     

    Dass ich wissenschaftliche Methoden im Allgemeinen, und hier im Besonderen, nicht voraussetzen kann, ist mir wohl klar, in der Tat ist es jedoch so simpel, dass es jeder mit RCon oder pb_sv.log Zugriff selber ausprobieren kann [tweak: mp_sv_md5tool 10 - 300 , Ziel der Untersuchung: Wechselwirkung mit Violation #9013 ; nur soviel: es gibt eine.]

    Jeder kann sich selbst ein Bild machen, es gibt absolut keinen Grund alles blöde zu glauben.

    Gegen reproduzierbare Fakten hilft weder der übliche unverbindliche Smalltalk in EB-tickets, noch Halbwissen, noch grenzdebiles Gestammel (s.o.).

     

    Oh, das überrascht mich dann doch gar sehr, dass EB keine Probleme mit selbst veröffentlichten Tools einräumt.

    Sowas in irgendeiner Form als "Beweiskräftig" auszugeben, ist das: a.) naiv? b.) scheinheilig? oder einfach c.) nur ignorant?

     

    wenn selbst Evenbalance sagt das es eigentlich garnicht stimmt mit dem hier gepredigten Fehler

    Es gibt mit gar nichts Probleme. Immer vorausgesetzt, es wird sinnvoll und zielgerichtet eingesetzt.

     

     

    Wenn man ansonsten schon die Augen fest geschlossen hält, wie wär's zur Abwechslung mal, die eigenen Server-Logs zu lesen?

    ... keine Ursache, sehr viel anderes zum Löschen gab's da drin sonst weiter auch nicht.

    Deine Entscheidung, das zu ignorieren, habe ich sehr wohl und seit ewigen Zeiten mitgekriegt (weil, ich bin nicht blöde), das ist gleichwohl Deine Entscheidung. Die Unsrige: Nicht.

     

     

    Eine log Datei von einem 32+4 Slot Server mit zurechnungsfähigen Admins* und pb_sv_md5toolfreq 50 sieht in Gegensatz dazu etwa so aus:

     

    85.116.29.134_27010-20061221.log

     

    ... einfach mal nach #9013 suchen (sorry, einfach ein Einzeiler zu posten sähe zu arm aus).

    Im Übrigen ist das alles so alt und bekannt wie das log (das hier ist ein öffentliches Forum, keyword:Google, alles was 32-GUIDs und IPs enthält wird hier ohne Weiteres gelöscht).

     

    * Was die Aufgaben eines Serveradministrators umfasst, bzw. was nicht, ist natürlich diskutabel, kann und soll jeder machen wie will er. Meiner Auffassung nach, den Server-Besuchern einen möglichst positiven Aufenthalt zu gewährleisten, wobei das Fernhalten von Cheatern logischerweise nur ein Aspekt von vielen ist. Spieler wie Vieh zu behandeln, das den eigenen Ban-Count in die Höhe treibt (wozu?) ist 3-jährig und - hier jedenfalls - ein No-Go.

    Vor diesem Hintergrund gibt PBBans selbstverständlich nur Empfehlungen heraus, die auch weniger versierten Serveradministratoren einen in allen Belangen möglichst geschmeidigen Ablauf des Streamings gewährleisten.

    Ich bitte dies einmal, endgültig und hiermit zum letzten Mal zu beachten.

    Ich habe etliche Monate gebraucht, um ein optimales pb_sv_md5tool Setting zu finden, persönlich hatte ich, trotz einiger Nachfragen und Umwege keine größeren Schwierigkeiten, Beschwerden von regelmäßigen Server-Nutzern nachzugehen http://03e.de/yhFpHZ , http://03e.de/tw17TY (als es noch öffentliche Foren mit Inhalt bei euch gab, habe ich gesehen, wie Du damit umgehst: gar nicht.) und ggF. die entsprechenden Gegenmaßnahmen einzuleiten. Nichts Besonderes, wenn man ohnehin gewohnt ist, zu Stoßzeiten ein anderes Setup zu fahren wie Mo-Mi. Nach 4 Jahren User-Support hier habe ich allerdings nicht den leisesten Zweifel, dass die Mehrheit der SGA damit überfordert wäre.

     

    Da Du weder Deutsch noch Englisch sprichst und offensichtlich auch nicht verstehst (das hier gesagte gilt weiterhin, weiterhin verbitte ich mir weiteren ständigen SPAM in meiner Inbox, wandert mittlerweile ungelesen in die Tonne) ... oder dann doch zu sämig bist, noch einmal so, dass es nunmehr hoffentlich ankommen sollte: Du stielst unsere Zeit. Das braucht niemand. Erzähl den rührseligen Unsinn doch Deinem Frisör.

     

    GV ist wieder online, die kaufen die Gequirlte~Hühnerkacke mit Sicherheit, der alberne Kreuzzug und das fortgesetzte Rumgeflenne hier ist hiermit per Order di Mufti beendet. Das ist eine Feststellung.
