I can see from your point of view what you're saying about the cross game feature, though cross game bans is an option in your servers flag settings, it is turned off by default and even though their are a lot that use it their is probably a lot that don't use it, so it solely comes down to the individuals choice on how they use it, me personally I love the feature. Now the reason I use it across all the servers here are my thoughts on it, these games use the same CD Key Medal of Honor Warfighter/Battlefield 3/Battlefield 4 same GUID/CD Key so if a player wants to cheat in anyone of them then I'm going to burn that CD key across all games that use it as that GUID has been compromised in that game I'm not going to let it be used freely in another game in the same genre and it's an extra incentive to not cheat it raises the stakes a bit more that hell if I'm caught I will be stopped in my other game/s as well. I feel for the ones who get caught up in the false positives, I actually know of one older female (mother) player that was caught and is still banned. Now if we want to get down to the nitty gritty WHY are the cheat sites NOT telling their clients that if you are caught you will need a whole new CD Key and account and maybe a new name, they have cheat forums why are they not talking amongst themselves about it in the cheat forums they'd know what's going on, so I blame the cheaters themselves for being to stupid to talk to each other and solve the problem, not that I want them too.

Why opt out, PBBans had to follow their own protocols/rules when a detection was raised, same would happen for anyone here. Just look back on it as well that sucked but all good now back to catching cheaters!

That ticket you submitted a represenitive from Evenbalance will reply within that same ticket with a reply meassage about your ban, what you have done by suppling your GUID: db8ec01e6b4e2f8a5571c2198795926e will help speed the process up, it may take a couple of days for a reply depending on how busy they are, I know it's frustrating but be patient they will reply.

The server in that battlereport you and that player were on does not stream to PBBans so thats why that player can play on it. The PBSS screenshots are clean, all they show is what you see when you hit tab to look at the scoreboard which looks like that when their is bugga all players in a server, a PBSS only captures a certain area of a players screen so by hitting tab at the time of the PBSS that is the end result you see in the PBSS.

What sort of nefarious purposes could it be used for are you talking about? The server player information it's scanning is already out there on the internet, unless I'm missing something I haven't thought about. It's at a stage where it works great, so far I haven't tried the last version yet, too damn tired and late at night/morning. *yawn*

I added a two new colours to it the other day that it wasn't picking up on and rescanned all our servers after deleting the cache, works well click, it runs, pick your servers, scan all, I'm very happy with it. :) edit: Singh400 I'll send you the PBSS picture to you in a PM seeing this thread is in general. ;)

Seems fine to me as well, if you do make it bigger without being able to say click hold drag to resize like a window on your computer, it might be better to leave it as it sits, incase some use smaller monitors. Seems fine on my 19" & 22" haven't used it on the 24".

The quad core is a dedicated admin/download computer that runs all the programs related to BC2/BF3/BF4 + for downloading. I've bumped it up to 4 and haven't seen any noticeable impact on the CPU that would effect me, all 4 cores are only ticking over at 3% to 8% then for around 8 seconds or so it hits 100% as it does the scan of the PBSS it just downloaded but that doesn't stop me from doing anything. If I wasn't watching the CPU gadget on the sidebar I wouldn't even know it hits those percentages. It took 35 minutes at 3 threads can't go any higher for my computer. Computer doing the scanning QuadCore Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400, 2666 MHz (8 x 333) windows 7 Ultimate-64 bit. Just did another scan it only flagged 455 this time, so for a first time scan of 46 BF4 servers I guess you could add 5 or more minutes to the 35 minutes considering the first time it flagged 1306 and I forgot to time that scan. :( Yes I think I read that in an earlier post or somewhere now I think about it, by hitting enter on highlighted PBSS it sticks it in the cheat folder for further looking into which is much better for me than the desktop. The program has come a long way in such a short time, very nice. edit: damn I gotta stop multitasking everything when tired as hell, blind as a bat me just noticed on the Managed Flagged Files window Tip: Press ENTER to mark selected file as confirmed cheat and move it to the cheat directory

All good thought I'd ask, I see the reasoning behind it. I scanned all 46 BF4 servers tonight, quite fast for so many servers, ended up with 1,306 PBSS to look through in the flagged folder. I think I had stopped blinking by the end :P v0.6 Question: Is it possible to make the PBSS go to a folder within the program folder itself instead of Move to Desktop? ended up with PBSS spread around on the desktop I wanted to relook at, no real biggy as I wouldn't expect to scan like a crazy person all the time.

PBSS Scanner v0.6. Thanks for the latest changes works a treat. I like how the scanning threads can tell what your computer is if you try and take it to 4 from 3. The scan multiple chosen servers is nice, I can set it going and go do something else. Just a thought: With the program are you able to add a right click to check streaming status. Are you able to add a right click and add server to custom list so you can add servers you know stream and might scan as well as your own.

Liking the latest updates, being able to managed flagged pbss shots on the go and in a separate window is very nice. With the Selected button for scanning a server are you able to make it so when you click on a few servers/highlight and then click scan the ones selected? Thanks for the colours to scan with, really helps. Yes it was some sort of problem where some of the servers were not showing in battlelog or gametracker so when I started the program from scratch it only found the ones there at the time. They are all back in it now and scanning away. Do you have a better or more detailed colours we can use to test with? will the colours be hard coded into future releases of the program?

Just rerun the new version and did the steps the same as previous versions, this time it's not showing all our servers only showing 18 games.on.net servers when previous versions showed all 46. edit: Never mind i just checked our servers and it looks like gametracker and battlelog are not showing the servers that are missing from the scanner as active yet they are there our end and I can log into them and reboot them. :crazy:

Good read, using both Vac and Punkbuster interesting. CCTTCaptCourage Cheaters will always be on our servers, we just try and limit the numbers with all that we do extra as server admins by streaming etc.
