Yeah the infantry side of it does look BC2/MOHish but I don't see many other FPS with Jets and the varierty of vehicles. So for me it still is the game on my wish list. I just watched the trailer on me 40 inch TV and personally think it looked bloody nice. Was too busy watching the cars blowing up n buildings tumbling down in the background.. to notice the belt maybe they'll sort that little issue before release :)

In the case of BF2142 Evenbalance are known to issue name bans which is why you're receiving that message. No bans are held on our MPI for such bans as we ban GUIDs. I think its kinda nice to see some people enthusiastic about an upcoming game. Forums sometimes become a haven of negativity. I'll reserve judgement until I play it. Lag issues on BC2.. I've seen myself how a PC upgrade brought my husbands ping down by 50. (lucky git). I've also noticed running any apps (even offline apps) whilst running bc2 adds to your ping. Anyway I just wanna see some mp footage now of BF3 and then I wanna damn well play it! I'm betting the 12 min reveal is all sp though :|

My clan rented a homefront server and it does pretty well although there's promblems with the cpu usage on the server. My GSP informs me this is across all homefront servers and they've been discussing the issue with the devs.. however as yet I see no improvement. As for cheating. Personally I don't like running a non PB server. It's the first time I've done it and I miss all the PBBans functions. I feel like I'm driving blind and if I feel like that, I am sure many other server owners will be thinking the same thing. The game itself is fun but not amazing, so I'm pretty sure people will revert back to other games quickly unless something is done to resolve the ongoing issues and shortfalls of the game.

This was the response from Evenbalance, which means they deem the violation to be valid. As such the ban stays on PBBans MBI. If your clan member still thinks the violation is an error, I suggest he contacts again as per Kolors post providing any information to them that he thinks will be relevant.

First of all your clan would need to have a PBBans account and servers that are streaming to us at the time when the PBSS are taken. This is so that can verify the information with streamed data. If you guys are already streaming your servers here then I suggest contacting whoever may be SGA on your account and getting them to submit the screenshots. We also accept Demo recordings in the case of COD4 If you're not streaming then maybe its time to think about applying? Also if you stream here you have access to our own MD5 detections. No anti cheat system is perfect but it's better then running nothing. Edit: I have noticed you're part of WAGE who do actually stream here. Removed. As Kraxus recommended, I would visit the website of the server you were on at the time and see if they are streaming. They may have screenshots. If they aren't streaming then you could either recommend that they apply or join servers that do use anti cheat sites.

Games cost now what they did twenty years ago £30-40 a pop for games with no saves, no production value etc yet we moan that games being released now are not giving value for money.. hmmm. I guess it depends on the games you play too. Seems we want more for less these days, so even if games were "better" I'm sure people still wouldn't pay. Piracy is a certain as death n taxes. I also don't see that guy saying he's gonna make the next big pc "exclusive" game lol..

Personally I was more shocked by the price of the game :P
