Let me say this about your poll. When you enter my server, you entered the Republic of Stymie. I pay for my server and I run my server as I see fit. If I choose to ban somebody for any reason, I do not hesitate. If I suspect someone of cheating but can not prove it, I owe it to myself, my clan mates and my visiting guests to have a fun filled server. With all that said, I will kick, ban, mute and abuse anyone who I see fit. As I said before, when you enter my server you enter the Republic of Stymie. I would never globally ban or publicly ban someone for cheating unless I can prove it, but hey a local server ban is what I pay monthly for. I hope that eases your mind :ban:

It should be illegal in ALL match plays and /or leagues. Most of them allow NO scripting of any kinds, and that includes double jump and crouch lean binds.

IMO, this script has been around since the beginning of scripting days. I remember a loooong time a go we "tried" it out to see what it does, if anything. Ya it "drops" your mouse down a bit when your firing, but honestly it was more a pain, than good. Most players manually pull back on their mouse as they are shooting any ways. As for "reducing" recoil.... no it does not reduce recoil, it is just replicating a manual process, just like crounch lean, or double jump. Again this is just My Opinion.

We dont not require your server to be pure. We do require PB to be enabled.

Let me try Bob. www.pbbans.com does not have access to your FTP account for your server. The password you are putting inside your pbconfig is for access to the repository. with this password and username that you choose, which is different from your root ftp password. The repository will recognize your server from everones elses. That is it.

what mod is the demo recorded in ?? I am not an expert like others here, but I will take a look. Also you said "that is provided my host will allow it. " ??? Why would your server hosting company care what you did ??? Who is your server hosted through ??? Streaming a server is as easy as updating your profile, adding 4 lines to your pb config. What this does is sent you pbsvlogs "real time" to our repository which will update any violations to the ban list.

I can assure you that people would have been more sympathetic to your problem if you would have not attacked what we do here. Just to clear up another statement you made for the record, not EVERYBODY modifies their config. I know many people who play the game straight from the box, if they cant change it in the drop down menu, it dont get changed. It is a hard way to learn, its a good thing that the game now sells for $10 bucks, so playing again should not be that difficult. If what you say is true, and this only resulted in a 'bad' config from a friend, then I guess you have learned 2 lessons. One being, check what it is before ya use it, the second being.. that friend is not your friend :o gg's

I guess you just answered your own question. If the player is so good, then why does he need somebody else's config. How do we know he just 'tested' somebody elses config, and not 'tested' a cheat. Let me give you a hint. Open your sof2mp.cfg Read the first line in there and reply back here on what it says. Let me give ya another hint "Do Not Modify" If a player chooses to modify his/her config then that player better know what is in there. We have a proper method for disputing a ban. They are still here, maybe your account information needs to be updated with the current servers you host. I would update your profile, and then maybe contact the accounts manager to see what else you need.

Well maybe if you went through the appeals process, someone might take you seriously, but then again I guess its a lot easier sitting on the side lines causing a fuss :huh:

Now I am confused :blink: Regardless of the time frame, the ban was captured in Aug of 2004. If you did a 'scan' of your computer a couple of weeks back to find this file 'bot.exe' and could not find it, do ya think it's because you deleted it back in August when you recieved 'your' violation message ?? There is an appeal process, and you have started it. When you appeal the ban, the ban is researched, its posted in our private section for site admins to also research. You email is included with all the revelant information, invluding the logs from the server of which this violation was produced. Considering its only been a week since you sent the email, I think you should be a little more patient. Once all the people involved has proved or disproved your ban then the verdict will be handed down. We DO have this appeal process, and it does work. We as a group have lifted several bans that were appealed, but this is not going to happen in a day. Thanks for your interest, you will have your answer soon.

If your boy is on the ban list else where, than I suggest that is where you look for your answers. I hope for your boys sake he learned his lesson, so he dont end up on our list too ;) Why dont you provide some specifics, like his GUID or IP address.

This beta 1.125 kicked me out of my server in 30 seconds for No packet Flow.
