we only accept demo's/pbss from servers that stream to PBBans .. this is not a case of us saying "you dont stream so tough" its purely so we can verify via streamed info that any demo/pbss is the genuine article. All bans that make it to our MBI have to be backed up by unrefutable evidence and this particular cheat may well be detected by running PBBans recommended cvar/md5 scans that all our streaming game admins have access to. :)

let me make one thing clear to you m8. There is no one on our MBI without proof positive via streamed logs that a bannable violation has been flagged. PBBans bans for cvar violations and if you knew how many cheats are available for most Q3 engine games that run anywhere on a HDD and are toggled on and off via cvar you would perhaps agree with that stance. If another clan representative puts forward a streaming request, as long as that person does not appear on our MBI then there is no problem. If cheat convictions come to light after a streaming request has been initiated then the person is added to the convicted cheaters group and the streaming is terminated. As stated at the time, Inspektah was only able to create a forum account because of his dynamic IP, the access convicted cheaters get here is less than minimal and we certainly do not want convicted cheaters streaming to us. Thats always been our policy and if you dont like it there are other AC sites with lower standards who will take you on no matter what cheat convictions you have. I'm asking myself why you have not signed up elsewhere for streaming, but if your determined to use a premiere AC site do not let me stop you :P

np .. its amazing how many overlook the announcements :) at least your now fully clued up on what log forwarding is all about.

the log forwarding service is available for any other AC site that wants to particpate in unifying the AC scene. we offered this service to all AC sites and the offer is still open. It takes minutes to set up and other AC sites can receive "live" streamed information that is untouched by human hand. The info is forwarded in its raw state and can be parsed by the receiving site as they see fit. Basically your servers streamed info can be forwarded via the PBBans Hub to up to 32 other AC sites .. as you can guess this would narrow the servers that a convicted cheater could use drastically in one fell swoop .. in unity there is strength :) Now for the downside :( thus far only AAO AC sites and admins have taken up this service and are showing just what can be done by sharing streamed info. there are some announcements and interviews that maybe explain it a bit better. announcements on our main website: http://www.pbbans.com/ interview: http://www.aaonews.com/?c=119&a=1100

In this age of dynamic IP's and the ease with which you can switch ISP's the one thing that remains constant throughout is the pbguid generated by the cd key. All anti cheat sites ban by pbguid and I'm afraid that if your recently purchased copy of rtcw generates a pbguid that is on our ban index then there is no way it will be removed because someone else "claims " to have purchased it :) If you look at it from our point of view the "claimant" could quite easily be the original purchaser/cheater with a new ISP and IP. Having said that, it has recently come to light that a fresh install of rtcw sometimes generates a completely different cd key than the one you would expect to see when pb is first enabled .. to make sure this is not what has happened to you, check your cd key in the options menu and make sure it is the same as the one on your cd case. The only people who have no access to a forum account are people who have broken the PBBans TOS, usually in a big way. Even the players with direct cheat bans have severely limited access to the forums but access they have, so I dont know were you get the idea that there are players with indirect cheat related links that have no access at all here. If you know of anyone have them get in touch so I can check it out. [email protected]

any cvar warning is quite easily dealt with while ingame :) in your particular case; bring down console type /r_detailTextures 0 press enter your done

i highly doubt a speed increase from your isp would flag up a multihack violation lol .. again nothing more to add here ..trouble ticket or buy a new game your choice. topic closed

here you will see a list of all PB supported games; http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=entry jotr is no longer supported by PB and nova logic are supposed to be handling what little protection jotr has left. now thats out of the way :) pb init failure is normally caused when pb receives no response off the client, its always best practise to run pbsetup before any gaming session click me .. there may also be a problem with your router if you use any of these: # Linksys - possible solution: Use firmware 1.44.2 # Motorola - possible solution: Update to latest firmware # Netgear - possible solution: Disable SPI (statefull packet inspection)

a multihack violation is a full blown PB detection - if you think this ban was made in error then the only course of action is to open a trouble ticket and submit it .. whats you pbguid btw ?

ignoring md5 queries is normally associated with bandwidth problems. I find that if you run pbsetup on your client before any gaming session reduces that chances of getting this kick (I have never had one :) ) Jolt ET servers have pb_sv_md5toolfreq 30 set as standard and I do not see too many getting the ignoring queries kick :)

I have not received your chosen username and password via forum pm m8, but, your server does not show as "new server" waiting to be added to the rep. This means there is an error at your end. Things to check in your root pb folder: that a pbsvlog.cfg exists that the pbsvlog.cfg contains the following info: pb_sv_LogAddr 63.171.64.22 // this never changes pb_sv_LogPort 24389 // this never changes pb_sv_LogUser USERNAME pb_sv_LogPw PASSWORD (username and pass are chosen by you and should be passed to a staff member via forum pm) that the command line: pb_sv_load pbsvlog.cfg has been added to your pbsv.cfg and last but not least that a pb_sv_restart has been executed via rcon just repost here when your ready for another check :) as an alternative you might want to consider streaming via the PBBans Hub - all this requires is 5 rcon commands: /rcon pb_sv_writecfg pbucon.use /rcon pb_sv_restart /rcon pb_sv_USessionLimit 1 /rcon pb_sv_uconadd 1 63.171.64.245 pbbans pbbans /rcon pb_sv_writecfg hf and good luck :)

the one I am using at the moment is from a selection that we are beta testing prior to a release for our streaming game admins .. we will probably get something going re PBBans sig's in the near future :)
