  1. its been repeatedly stated on the forums that the only thing one can take as 100% true in relation to a guid and ban is the guid information :) everything else is for info purposes only and can not be proven 100% true unless the IP is static. I suppose you could ask your clannie about it :P
  2. without a guid no one can check out if your on any ban index so with that in mind lets concentrate on the information I have at hand re you and RTCW :) this is info gathered by PBBans enabled servers and collated in the PBBans Master Player Index (MPI3) I see 3 guid's directly linked to you. f0abdd6003d02eb4b2da31baa29dc935 euro 6e7143b7acafa5bc30d7399c1e07443f //pR//EurO which are both clean. 6068d9f9a4e1adfe304e45b8783be7d5 is also directly linked and is a leaked cd key off the internet. Alias(s) (960) IP Address(s) (1482) This guid is banned on both PBBans MBI and PsB MBL. There are that many players linked to leaked cd keys off the internet that we do not use that type of linked ban to prevent anyone becoming a member here. Having said all that if you have recently reinstalled RTCW check that the cd key is the one you used on the install via the game options menu .. there have been recent cases were a completely different cd key showed up right after pb was first enabled after a fresh install. If the cd key is the correct one then use one of the other 2 you have and you will have no problem. There is another possible 2 scenarios in that you have a banned guid for a cheat on a server that is not streaming to PBBans or PsB or your banned recently on PsB because the MBL info we use is a month behind. btw .. if you feel like getting your friends "paid for cheat" and passing it to me, dont hesitate, you never know it might not be one of the many prvate cheats we have already lol :)
  3. info on the MPI3 will be more informative and effective, like so: PsB have given permission for us to incorporate their MBL into the MPI3 for info purposes As always the info on the MPI3 pertains to players from PBBans protected servers
  4. we have reached that magic number of members that spammers target .. we have had quite a few in the past month or so and part of the process we go through is to check every registrant for cheat convictions primarily then the additional checks that identify possible spammers that make it past our filters ..apologies if this is not the case here :)
  5. I think you missed a key sentence Tim :P lets not forget why we only accept pbss/demo evidence from streaming servers - its so the digital fingerprint of any submitted pbss can be verified as 100% genuine via streamed info from our EvenBalance repository this totally eliminates the "I was framed whine". With demo evidence everything can be checked in the same way from the time the player connected to the server to the time he leaves or gets kicked. By creating a section for non streamers to post pbss/demo's in would open the floodgates for pbss and demo's that we could not guarantee would be 100% genuine and would have no way of checking on, not to mention potentially innocent players being subjected to "mob" justice (for want of a better phrase) :)
  6. As posted on the "How to" guide: The length of time before your server shows as "not streaming" seems to vary but normally does not kick in for several hours of complete inactivity. Adding the above command line to your pbsv.cfg forces your server to stream a minute piece of info at the set interval and by doing so lets the Hub see that all is well. The PBBans Hub is a new innovation and there are several things our coders are working on. We already have "live" banning / dual streaming / log forwarding / enhanced cvar detection .... apologies for anything I forgot :P Other things may be coming up soon but it depends on priorities, the main priority of any anti cheat site is to provide its clientelle with the cleanest gaming environment possible and by sticking to that ethos means that other stuff has to be placed on the back burner. The Hub never ceases to amaze me in what its capable of and when our coders get some free time they will be able to work on what they want to instead of being forced by some slavedriver to work on reaction plans to new types of cheat :P The one thing I can say with certainty is that the PBBans Hub is still in its infancy and there is a lot more to come from it. :)
  7. PBBans Hub Server Search Server Status: Server is streaming via Hub Server Info Clan Tag: {DvT} Server IP: 8.9.37.170:1716 Last Streaming: December 6, 2006 3:32 am forum upgrade applied once the log forwarding is back online would you like us to pass your streamed info to other AAO anti cheat sites (CB /AON/ACI) ?
  8. the last line of his appeal was: and I bet he doesn't now lolol .. pity he waited till after he was detected before removing them :P

  10. whats the prob ? less than an hour streaming
  11. I have received your chosen username and password m8, but, your server does not show as "new server" waiting to be added to the rep. This means there is an error at your end. Things to check in your root pb folder: that a pbsvlog.cfg exists that the pbsvlog.cfg contains the following info: pb_sv_LogAddr 63.171.64.22 // this never changes pb_sv_LogPort 24389 // this never changes pb_sv_LogUser USERNAME pb_sv_LogPw PASSWORD (username and pass are chosen by you and should be passed to a staff member via forum pm) that the command line: pb_sv_load pbsvlog.cfg has been added to your pbsv.cfg and last but not least that a pb_sv_restart has been executed via rcon just repost here when your ready for another check :) as an alternative you might want to consider streaming via the PBBans Hub - all this requires is 5 rcon commands: /rcon pb_sv_writecfg pbucon.use /rcon pb_sv_restart /rcon pb_sv_USessionLimit 1 /rcon pb_sv_uconadd 1 63.171.64.245 pbbans pbbans /rcon pb_sv_writecfg hf and good luck :)
  12. PBBans Hub Server Search Server Status: Server is streaming via Hub Server Info Clan Tag: 224th- Server IP: 8.6.76.4:1716 Last Streaming: December 2, 2006 10:27 pm Log Forwarding: None streaming fine now. :) we have a log forwarding service ongoing atm that forwards your streamed info to other AAO AC sites (ACI /AON /CB ) would you like this enabled ?
  13. any problems with log forwarding are at the recipients end .. all is ok here your server is streaming via the hub just fine
  14. we run a log forwarding service to other anti cheat sites :) atm you are streaming to PBBans using the Hub. If you join ACI you will have to use their standard method of streaming - thats 2 anti cheat sites benefitting from your streamed info .. we can make that 4 ANTI cheat sites by forwarding your streamed info to AON and CB just say the word :)

  20. added and streaming via the hub :) nice to see a face from the past :D
  21. for future reference; enter your server ip/port here http://www.pbbans.com/msi.php this will tell you 3 things; 1. the PBBans Hub is online and working perfectly. 2. your server is streaming via the Hub with no probs. 3. if requested your logs are forwarded to the stated AC sites. like so: PBBans Hub Server Search Server Status: Server is streaming via Hub Server Info Clan Tag: -g2. Server IP: 66.55.131.213:1716 Last Streaming: November 29, 2006 7:38 pm Log Forwarding: ACI CB AON everything at this end is functioning perfectly and if anything was wrong with any Hub feature our streaming game admins would be the first to know. :)
  22. a simpler solution would be to change your username :) http://www.quakenet.org/faq/faq.php?c=4&f=135#135
  23. the player himself lodged the appeal and the IP is an exact match for the player who got flagged on the ROX server with a cheat violation. If he is so sure he never connected to the ROX server then I would suggest 2 scenarios. 1. He is lying for one reason or another. 2. Someone else has access to his pc and joined the ROX server. Whatever scenario is correct is by the by, the ban for pbguid 75fd83e0fa1e758d156105f23bdc3d37 will remain on our database unless a successful trouble ticket appeal is made via the EvenBalance website. Here is an extract from the ROX server logs that are streamed "live" : [11.27.2006 20:43:27] ->PBSV: New Connection (slot #4) 67.169.3.211:20100 [?] "^-*A^,n^-T" (seq 6823306) [11.27.2006 20:43:27] ->PBSV: Player GUID Computed 75fd83e0fa1e758d156105f23bdc3d37(-) (slot #4) 67.169.3.211:20100 ^-*A^,n^-T [11.27.2006 20:44:03] ->PBSV: VIOLATION (VIDEO DRIVER HACK) #90003: ^-*A^,n^-T (slot #4) Violation (VIDEO DRIVER HACK) #90003 [75fd83e0fa1e758d156105f23bdc3d37(-) 67.169.3.211:20100] [11.27.2006 20:44:03] ->PBSV: Kick Command Issued (Violation (VIDEO DRIVER HACK) #90003) for (slot#4) 67.169.3.211:20100 75fd83e0fa1e758d156105f23bdc3d37 ^-*A^,n^-T [11.27.2006 20:44:03] ->PBSV: Lost Connection (slot #4) 67.169.3.211:20100 75fd83e0fa1e758d156105f23bdc3d37(-) ^-*A^,n^-T [11.27.2006 20:44:03] PB_SV_BanGUID 75fd83e0fa1e758d156105f23bdc3d37 "*AnT" "67.169.3.211" "PBBansHub!VIDEO DRIVER HACK" [11.27.2006 20:44:04] ->PBSV: PB UCON "pbbans"@63.171.64.245:40045 [PB_SV_BanGUID 75fd83e0fa1e758d156105f23bdc3d37 "*AnT" "67.169.3.211" "PBBansHub!VIDEO DRIVER HACK"] [11.27.2006 20:44:04] ->PBSV: Ban Added to Ban List The server logs are untouched by human hand and prove beyond doubt that the player / or at least someone using his machine did join the ROX server, although he did not stay long :)
