this is fair warning to all who post here.. this site/forum is for game admins to band together and keep their servers clean of cheaters .. it is not for debating the validity of screenshots etc especially those that are taken on a non streaming server, if it aint punkbuster or ban related quite frankly i dont want to know.
If you want to bandy accusations etc back and forth do it somewhere else like msn/icq/irc
this entire thread will now be closed and if anything reappears the poster will have to find another site/forum to continue on.

funny thing is i just unchecked all the forum permissions for game admins/save then checked them all again to exactly what it was saved again ..then kicked his forum account about a bit lol .. anyways it worked

the RTCW way .. adapt as neccessary for your individual game;
1. Load up RTCW multiplayer
2. Bring down the console (should be the tilde key - above tab)
3. Type \pb_myguid and hit return
4. Type \condump guid.txt and hit return
This will create a text file in your Return To Castle Wolfenstein/Main folder named guid.txt containing the text from the console.

Hey, im a UO-server admin, i can only agree to that. Right now i have Master Ban List from Punkbusted, and i just register here. I just dont know if the 2 programs can work together?, i mean the Master Ban List and Master Ban Index (Master Ban Index (MBI)), can it? or is it the same program?
you can only stream to one repository but our ban list can be downloaded and intregrated no problem with anyone elses .. all we care about is keeping the lamers off our servers and we aint too proud to share :D

nope .. cl_timenudge - Supposed to be for adjusting prediction for your ping.,but not much use with anti lag enabled

its sad that IW learned absolutely nothing from cod1 which was released without pb included .. cod1 was nice eye candy but imo is the only game that got progressivly worse with each patch :) and without mods would have died out completely
now we see the exact same scenario for cod2
pb will be included in the next released patch so any beef is with whoever is making the patch not evenbalance :D

I have 2 issues
My 1st issue is with patch update for cod when I update my cod from the original to 1.5 I get missing 15 sound files
My 2nd issue is when trying to run the new pbsetup from punkbuster it tells me pb isnt installed and its been installed by the game
1st issue might be a corrupt patch
2nd issue - a quote from evenbalance staff;

Im after some info on how i go about streaming pb on our UO server's.
Any help would be apreciated :)
you could make a start by changing the server info in your forum profile and getting yourself upgraded to game admin, i see your listed as general on your site .. does that mean you are the server admin?
best way is to get your name added to the server cfg as admin/let me know/ and i'll take it from there :)

pb_sv_cvar cl_timenudge
This is a highly debated cvar, many players believe negative values make players appear jerky. Default value is 0,servers i run i allow -10 with no ill effects :)
entirely up to the server admin wether to allow any leeway with timenudge and if set to 0 will kick exactly the same as any other cvar kick .. the line in my server cfg in full is pb_sv_cvar cl_timenudge IN -10 0

best tip is to stream your server here and run jpat ..this will keep you up to date with all the latest md5's and cvars required to make your server as cheat free as possible

Wen registering a while bak i didnt notice the part were I could register my clan, and streamline my server with you guys, I had forgotton that Id registered and tried again this morning, but it sed "you are already reg" so i used my login name and password and hereI am now, but could somebody please enter this information were it belong?
I have had a few problems with hacks and if I ever get them again, am I to post here descretly?
due to them changing their msn name and IP and moving on when I confrunted them?

i have just validated your account this morning and set you as member .. your server cfg still shows jedix as admin and your website just kicked me off when trying to ascertain your admin status :(
as explained in the pm i sent to you .. if your active in clanbase you are required to stream to game violations and you are allowed to stream to one evenbalance repository.
the only bans we accept here are bans from streaming servers .. this is a safeguard that prevents anyone from claiming they were framed :)

Banmask is only when you want to ban a range of IP's. You dont usually want to use this function.
not quite correct;
PB_SV_BanMask [iP Address / Subnet Mask]
you can use this command to ban individual IP's ..the ban is written to the pbbans.dat as normal like so;
[01.06.2006 15:16:46] MASK213.218.228.149 "hackfozban" "213.218.228.149"
the actual command to input that is;
pb_sv_banmask 213.218.228.149 | hackfozban

what i'm trying to get through is that any pb catch is valid unless evenbalance staff say different .. direct the player who claims innocence to the trouble ticket link because thats the only way forward for him .. unless he wants to buy a new game that is :)

Just curious,because i`ve heard that some PB violations are being caused by system or grafik card drivers and dont want to give bans to those who aro not cheating.
These days i have found in logs a few people with violation hacks and they all got banned.But one of them keep on telling me,he didnt use any cheat,he hass got problem with his system.So i just wanna find out if its possible
btw that one has got code #60010.
thats what the evenbalance trouble ticket system is for .. the policy here is that no genuine pb catch gets lifted unless evenbalance staff say a mistake has been made.

the nofog.pk3, is a violation but its so easy to be unaware of it getting downloaded off a server that as far as pbbans is concerned its just a kickable offence not a bannable one :)
you can compare it to other harmless kicks such as uifullscreen/losing key packets etc etc
if your worried about it let me know the server admins mail address and i'll mail him and explain things but to answer your original question .. yes it just stays there :)
