when our parser problem re cod2 is sorted .. all those bans will be added to our MBI :)

According to the msi my server (62.75.214.154:28960) is streaming to pbbans.
But the following sv_cheat logentry did't reach the Master Ban Index :(

Any idea why , i am quite sure my the server was streaming on 04/16/2006 and my svlogs say so too.
Could any pbbans admin please verify.

Does Cod2 use a different port to stream then Sof2? any info different the ip address or port to stream to?
the PBBans repository IP and port never change:

i tried this in mod manager tool console and it said"unknown command"?
this is from the manual :)
PB_SV_BanList [optional_search_text]
Displays the list of bans in the console, including kicks with a temporary ban; if the [optional_search_text] parameter is specified, then only bans/kicks that include the search text are listed (useful for searching for a specific name / guid).
try HLSW its the best i've ever used .. i've pm'd a tutorial for set up etc ..last time i checked for bf2 when entering your server IP/port in you also had to to enter a : followed by the gamespy port .. once its set up any pb command can be entered and a readout is right in front of you :)

I just shut down another of my server and there will be no more streaming coming from it 209.10.98.18:25888

a local ban or timed kick has been applied .. /rcon pb_sv_banlist will display all bans and timed kicks that are applied on your server .. find the one that concerns you and remove using the relevant number that is assigned to that ban/kick (PB_SV_UnBan followed by the assigned number) or use pb_sv_unbanguid command followed by pb_sv_updbanfile

If your server still shows non-stream after the (REPOSITORY=Sytem used to stream logs) restarts.
Then it is most likely because your AA server restarted and the streaming setting we not writing in the config. file .
If you still have problems after the Repository restarts let me know and i will help you setup your game server to auto load your streaming settings .
i have sent you my msn messenger info via PM.
Or you may see if im on the PBBANS TeamSpeak,Or IRC.

My post wasn't intended to point out any flaws...I apologise if people took it the wrong way.....I play SoF2 and soon CoD2 server will be streaming also. When they're both streaming I'll stick w\ the forums of the games in question and keep things to my self.....I gotta admit, I did'nt think posting in topics here would cause any problems but damn was I wrong..I even have gaming server owners e-mailing me and pissed at me for my comments I make here {all forums not just here}....I'l keep to my server issues from now own...seems like thats the only way to not cause probs or get in hot water...later
Tim, as a member of our streaming admin group your entitled to point out anything that concerns you, we provide a service and the customers who use that service are in the best position to point out anything that they perceive as a problem .. any comments from our forum users are welcome (particularly from our premium forum members) .. by premium forum members i am talking about each and every one of you guys that has taken the time and trouble to stream your servers to PBBans .. we are always looking for ways to improve the forums and the services we provide and i would hope that all premium members especially, would post any suggestions without any intimidatory fears in the back of their mind :)

(I.C.E) AcE .. dont know what game you got sitting on the shelf m8 but ET aint got big scary skeletons :P RTCW has .. both fine games although the RTCW scene has dwindled somewhat since it won game of the year when released .. ET is a free download and also a class game ..so now you got another 2 games to play online :)

re snowball .. doesn't matter to me if its a member / streaming admin or staff member .. if you use a proxy to register your forum account to deliberately hide 2 IP linked hack convictions (one was an exact match) then that person will end up on the convicted cheaters list .. if he had been honest right at the start he would not have had his forum account validated because of those cheat convictions .. i'm always saying this because i believe its true .. our integrity is paramount and i will not stand for anyone who compromises it

dont worry m8 i put him straight .. we are here to assist anyone with pb probs and help server admins to run as cheat free a server as we can make it .. we are not here to facilitate anyone who posts unproven acusations against a player or clan .. its that simple :)
anyone who thinks that they can post an unproven allegation anywhere on these boards will find themselves out on their ear pretty damn fast .. its also that simple :)

There is a clan that cant enter our server. They say Punkbuster is kicking for bad name- ASCII - for the chevrons «»

hi 509th Jazz and welcome to our boards :)
take a look in your pbsv.cfg and look for this setting:
pb_sv_extchar
PB_SV_ExtChar [0/1]
The default setting of 0 tells PunkBuster to disallow extended ASCII Characters in player names; for the purposes of this command, characters that cannot be easily entered with simple keystrokes are considered extended
so if you want to allow this clan on your server with «» in their clantag ..a setting of pb_sv_extchar 1 should be applied :)

Why do they bother? It's a mystery to me.
immaturity and a need to be in the spotlight springs to mind .. the last 3 people who posted something like this were added to the banlist on the next parser run :) turns out they knew they had been caught hacking and tried to get their revenge by casting doubts on a clans integrity .. he must never have heard of streamed logs lol

strange aint it .. not sure on the reasons why or how ..maybe a nice EB staff member can enlighten us :) and then again maybe the official release of linux cod2 binaries will produce the standard 32 length guid's .. whats concerning me now is that llama's who are caught bang to rights stand a chance of avoiding a deserved ban :)
