Flu Shot Information

Do not get a flu shot, no matter how much they say a person benefits from it.

Here are the ingredients list for some vaccines.

This is straight from the CDC: http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/pubs/pinkbook/downloads/appendices/b/excipient-table-2.pdf

Scroll down to the Influenza ones and click on the Influenze (fluzone) one. Also check out the ingredients of the others as well and research them, (you might be surprised what they are injecting in you):

Now here is a word document that I made defining what each chemical does for the fluzone one. ( I put it in .pdf format):

Flu Shot Information.pdf

Research the other chemicals on wikipedia if you want.

And if you want to, read this article for some clarity: Click Here

Big Pharma and doctors are making tons of money for advertising the flu shot. Do you think they want you to know the truth about it?

Now, you can make up your own mind if you want a flu shot or not.

lol I will still get a flu shot as that won't kill me but given my immune condition the flu could, besides it's free to those who need it in the UK. You would need to be taking much more then an annual jab for those chemicals to build up into any kind of toxicity.

Any chemical in excessive quantities will cause health problems, including beneficial things like vitamins. From reading the link, most of the information sounds like it's taken from the safety data sheets (MSDS) which are for those using the pure compound, not for microscopic quantities in things like vaccines - maybe 30ml of formaldehyde could be fatal, but I doubt the tiny amount in a vaccine would be noticable, plus it would be diluted because of what it's injected with.

As for phenols, TCP is one of the most recognised and used antiseptic products in the UK and that is basically tri-chlorophenol.

Sorry I work with chemicals for a living and find scare tactic websites frustrating. Remember too much dihydrogen monoxide will kill you too.

If you read it, the flu shot also has a small amount of mercury in it. Any amount of mercury is highly toxic to a person.

We pick up a small amount of Hg all the time through natural exposure. Everyone has a small amount of it in their system. These things are about levels. You're talking about trace amounts.

Neurological and behavioural disorders may be observed after inhalation, ingestion or dermal exposure of different mercury compounds. Symptoms include tremors, insomnia, memory loss, neuromuscular effects, headaches and cognitive and motor dysfunction. Mild, subclinical signs of central nervous system toxicity can be seen in workers exposed to an elemental mercury level in the air of 20 μg/m3 or more for several years. Kidney effects have been reported, ranging from increased protein in the urine to kidney failure.

Thats from the world health organisation website and it would have to be at a constant level daily.

Did you know the human body is slightly radioactive too?

Isn't the flu shot basically protecting people from the previous year's strain? So getting it is pretty much pointless, right?

no

The seasonal flu vaccine protects against the influenza viruses that research indicates will be most common during the upcoming season. Traditional flu vaccines (called trivalent vaccines) are made to protect against three flu viruses; an influenza A (H1N1) virus, an influenza A (H3N2) virus, and an influenza B virus. In addition, this season, there are flu vaccines made to protect against four flu viruses (called “quadrivalent” vaccines). These vaccines protect against the same viruses as the trivalent vaccine as well as an additional B virus.

when i was younger, i never got the vaccine and thought i never got the flu

when i did start getting the flu shot, i realized that i had the flu every year and that was why i "kept a cold" all winter ....

now, i don't have the constant "cold" all winter

I'm not getting my flu shot at all because I don't trust the infirmary at Lock Haven University. The Lock Haven Hospital is much worse. If I were to get one, I would get mine at Reading or Chester County Hospital.

I am required by Navy Instruction to get the Flu shot every year. They do the live virus where you sniff it up each nostril, and if you don't...they will process you out of the Navy. I got a little sick a few years ago from it, but this year didn't have any complications or side affects. I don't have an issue with it, seems like too many people are paranoid now days anyway. It is your choice (unless you are in my situation), and you can make that decision for yourself.
