Streaming link deactivated?

My server stream was deactivated somehow, and I'm not sure if it's something we did - or what happened. It said "Hub connection deactivated" then I clicked "Reactivate" and it changed to the status of "Server is not streaming".

 

Do I need to go in and reconfigure the PB files again or what?

I suggest you follow the hub guide to set up streaming again.

Okay, just did that stuff from the ccpanel. Anything else I need to do?

Streaming will kick in instantly once you get the initiation commands right :)

Use the server checker on our main website(left hand menu) to see if you have done it correctly.

Okay, I restored the default PB settings, applied them to the server, then copy/pasted the command lines word for word into the ccpanel. I made sure I pushed the command button and not the chat button, too.

 

Still showing us as not streaming. Any ideas?

Try using the webtool that fozzer linked above, it should do all the work for you.

you need to have these settings inside your pbsv.cfg file:

 

pb_sv_task 0 7200 pb_sv_ver // Keep-Alive for PBBans Hub

pb_sv_task 0 86400 pb_sv_update // Check for PB updates daily

pb_sv_uconignoreempty

pb_sv_usessionlimit 16

pb_sv_uconempty

pb_sv_uconadd 1 64.27.21.46 "pbbanshub" "pbbanshub"

 

and you also need create a blank file and save it with the name

pbucon.use

(.use being the extension, not txt or anything else)

 

I dont understand why you wont use the automatic setup?

It's not that I won't use it, for some reason my server is not responding to RCON commands. So I don't have another option right now. Believe me I would rather use it.

 

The blank .use file, does it go in pbsv.cfg? Or the parent directory?

Happens automatically within a few hours of streaming.

Not sure what happened to the original pb config, but somehow the rcon/ccpanel interface got corrupted and it wasn't issuing the commands sent through the ccpanel.

 

Got it fixed through our server provider though. Thanks for the help.
