I play ETQW, for Vanilla I have standard icons, for my ETQWPro mod shortcuts I have ETQWPro icons modified in PS. Don't mean i cheat or doing anything illegal. Even if it says My CoD MP Cheat in the icon its not bannable at PBBans ;)

Yea i think I got you now, i do think that is a server set cvar setting everything you try to type in the console to be chat text instead of execute client cvars side in the console ingame. I cant remember the exact server cvar for it, not that it matter really. This is to prevent cheats etc being enabled, think this was an option in CoD2 as well. (Firestorm and others fill me in)

appears as normal speech on the server? Not sure what you are talking about now buddy :) The script will work either way, if that is what you are asking for.

FYI, if you you don't know: For those server you cant use the console, here is a little recording script you can add to your config, best is to make an autoexec.cfg and save it in the main folder: seta demo1 "record; set nextdemo vstr demo2" seta demo2 "stoprecord; set nextdemo vstr demo1" seta nextdemo "vstr demo1" bind x "vstr nextdemo" Change the x to the button of your likings. This way you cant toggle a recording on/off and will save the same way as you where using /record, /stoprecord in the console

No, the install patches should be ok. Problem as Roadie says are the install on Vista. Just make sure all left-overs folders are gone, do search where they supposed to be an confirm they are gone :)

Not to forget, some cvar tweaking is also considered "tweaked out", i.e tweak to get a fair bit of advantage than others. Maybe not ban-able, but deffo kick-able when PB is set up "correct" for those server admins who are aware of them. If you run a system that bad you need to tweak it out of control, consider hardware upgrades to meet the system requirements than ending up on a ban list.

Can be it, popular Pr0 configs installed without really knowing what it is? And if you did know, why bother download someones config? You are not giving us much to go on here, and when it comes to your kick and what it is or causing it, only EB knows, hence we will never know as they don't give out such information. EDIT: Vioaltion #90042 should be only a kick and have been corrected by EB, what the cause of the violation is unknown, but I would recommend you to reconsider the config you have downloaded as it can contain cvar's or other possibilities to cause you to still get server kicks in the future.

You don't get it do you :) I'm not talking about the calculations, who is your ping calculations anyways and no calculator needed for doing some simple 3rd grade math. ;) However i am talking about using a 3rd part program interfering with the BF2.exe file, also known as hooking. In other words, as I have said before, I recommend not to use it at all.

Ctrl + V will not get you banned, and together with notepad, the most powerful text editor in the world it simply rocks :lol:

Nope, do it this way: Make a notepad file and have the cmd's in there, copy it, Alt + Tab back into the game, drag down console and use Ctrl + V, take you like 8,7 secs when set up correctly. How hard is that? :P

As in all other 3rd party program causing kicks/ bans as in new TS (or was it Vent?) GSC VOIP etc etc, the list goes on. As for other "Autohotkeys" already on the banlist I would be very careful using this.

Its not a cheat to adjust latency comp, interpolations/extrapolation times But I will quote my self on this one: Don't get caught by PB software using a 3rd party program in your game.

+1 Some say it makes wonder, as the hitreg/ netcode was "broken" somehow in BF2 and tweaking this should help a bit on the way to fix that, as you say, Effectiveness of this tool is debatable. Not bannable if EB state otherwise. FYI: You might be caught on game hook for this one as it does have a hotkey. Advice: DO NOT USE.

Well I can pretty much assure you such behavior don't belong in Team Dignitas. Dignitas is one of the most representative eSports Team in the world and such behavior (from what you are telling us) will not come from one of their team members, in other words, just an impostor, a guy without any real life or at least only one very disturbed one. The other thing about this, is what this have to do with PBBans? This is an AC site based on PB Software from Even Balance, nothing more until he breaks any PB violation, but thanks for the heads up :)

If they are afraid of getting busted by our scans when you decide to stream, they don't play clean do they? You have more or less answered your own question in this, when actually asking if they will get caught or not ;)

Not talking about the pointlessness in this ;) The pointlessness is downloading configs you have no idea what contains, that is really pointless hehe

My guess it removes the artillery motion shake.
