it should reside in the /pb/ folder in your USERDIR by default it's something like MySharedDocs/AllUsers/Monolith/FEAR/PB/ but for dedicated servers i mostly change it to SERVERDIR/USER/PB/ please take some time to read my Win32 Dedicated server Howto, it explains alot :) If you are streaming via hub the banlist will automaticly update, however. the first time its better to create the banlist on the site so u can add your own bans to it :) P.S.: Your server IS NOT streaming! It isn't in the REP or HUB list. please folow the instructions in the HUB-Streaming howto and post your server in the streaming requests forums.[/b]

Welcome Paybax! One thing you could do is get your F.E.A.R. Servers streaming to PBBans. As streaming admin u get full access to our: - MPI3 (Master Player index with search for linked GUId's IP etc.) - MCI (Master Config Index where we collect all positive recognition for cheats and MD5 Stockfile checks to check original gamefiles) - MBI (Master Ban Index - our full ban index of all streaming servers collected together divided per game) To get your fear servers streaming look at the streaming howto's and FAQ's in the streaming requests forums or use my win32 setup guide for fear wich also covers the streaming part. http://www.fragvalley.nl/users/schaap2k/FearServerHowto/ Cheers and welcome to our community!

at the moment the best sollution is to ban his pb_guid and ip locally ip because the game-key can easily be re-requested (combat is free) if you are streaming and can provide proof of this happenning on your server while streaming u can have the player added to the MBI PM me his guid and i'll search the MPI3 for you :)

It's not possible to stream bf2142 demo-servers because they issue the same UID to every player in the server and every mapchange/server-restart that UID and also the Punkbuster GUID changes into another.. (can't even change it with the guidrelax setting) this can make a real mess of the MPI3 as i just discovered while looking up myself in the mpi3 (image attached below)

At the moment there are a few persons around joining fear servers with a really annoying hack.. it has a recognizable votespam (continuously spamming the vote system so no-one else can use it) and thats as far as it can be recognized.. however.. the bigger problem is.. it allows the person to change the serverside settings! And with that, I mean all of them.. i couldnt find a server update so i reinstalled with the v108 installer and then hubstream didn't want to go :P but it's running fine in rep now.. just saw it added 2 more bans to the Master Ban Index (MBI) B)

wich updated files? You cant 'update' the server.. back up your serverconfigs and pb dir and install the v108 server :)
