Often servers will stop streaming if empty for a long period of time. Adding a heartbeat task should help. Ensure the following command is in your config. pb_sv_task 0 7200 pb_sv_ver There could be other issues however, starting with the above can help.

Please review the Streaming Application Requirements along with the PBBans Terms of Service. In the end it is your choice as to whom you stream your server data. If the PBBans Streaming Requirements are too great or not worth the effort, it's your choice to choose another service. PBBans has much to offer and very much worth the effort to meet the streaming requirements.

Get a server which hosted by a Game Server Provider (GSP) or if you have dedicated server, co-locate in a hosting center.

If your servers are currently streaming, the upgrade to SGA is an automated process which only runs every few hours.

Please take note of the location of the post, Temp. & Perm. Denied Applications. This means your application has been denied. Since the server IP submitted appeared on the MPi, the application has been permanently denied. A permanent denial prevents application re-submission. Once the deficiency has been shown (verified by Staff member) to have been corrected, a Staff member can intervene to allow application re-submission.

Nothing is 100%. PBBans utilizes the Punkbuster software developed by Evenbalance. When Punkbuster detects a player using a cheat and issues a kick, the PBBans HUB will then issue a ban against that GUID. Not all cheats are instantly detected as anti-cheat is a reactive process. Please be sure your server is also running the latest PBBans CVAR/MD5 checks. Following the above and actively reviewing your server(s) PBSS will help better protect your server(s). Your server has the 'Announce New Bans' option enabled which means any players banned on another PBBans streaming server is announced on yours.

Beta Software Defined Beta software is for testing and not guaranteed to work all applications. I'm sure Evenbalance (among many others software developers) are performing their own tests to determine how their software will run on the new operating system. Recommend you pass on the issues you are experiencing to Microsoft and Evenbalance. Be advised: Do not take offense if you do not get a response from either. In short, if you want to use beta software, be prepared to drink a "cup of suck it up" when problems are experienced. Perhaps the issues you report will help correct any issues with Windows 7 and Punkbuster so the rest of us do not have to suffer. :)

The answer was provided in the denial post. This is due to a security measure we have in place here at PBBans. Since the GUID is 'out in the wild' it's only a matter of time before it's banned.

The GUID you provided ( f4db6159 ) is not currently on the PBBans MBi nor has a Global GUID ban issued by Evenbalance. If your friend had been on a server streaming to PBBans, the GUID would have been added to the PBBans MBi within seconds of the violation. Please have your friend follow the previous advice given of opening an Evenbalance Troubleticket to request their assistance to determine the cause of the violation. Provide as much information as possible in the ticket to assist Evenbalance with their efforts to determine the cause.

The file is located in your PB directory. Example for COD4 on XP:

Once the command has been entered successfully, it creates a file named regname.dat in the game PB directory. This file can be viewed in a text editor. Ensure the information in the file is correct. You can also remove the file and re-enter the commands in the game console to create a new regname.dat file.

Have you registered the tag with the game? pb_regnamepartial [TAG] PASSWORD The above command will need to be entered (in the game console) for each PB enabled game for which you use the registered tags. Example: Tags registered [TAG] The registration command must be entered for each game played (COD4, BF2, BF2142, AA, etc).

The IP is blacklisted since is appears on the MPi. 68.232.163.2 It is up to you if you wish to contact your GSP to request a new IP address.

The provider does not matter. I have servers with two different GSPs and all the servers are streaming. The servers must meet the requirements and belong to your clan.

The server no longer appears to be cracked. The IP address has been removed from the blacklist. You should be able to add the server back to your team account. Please be aware a second offense will result in indefinite suspension of the team account.

The server was removed from your TA and blacklisted since it's a cracked server. Cracked servers are not allowed to stream.

If you are looking to disable the console at the client: While in game Click Options -> Game Options -> Console (change to disabled). If you are looking to disable clients who join the server from opening their console: set sv_disableClientConsole 1 I believe that will work and should be placed in your COD4 server config. You will have access to Team Account signatures once you've been added to an actively streaming team (status upgraded to SGA).
