The thing you have to remember is that killcam is not a recording of what happened. It is merely a simulation based on data collected from the game. Anything from lag to packet-drops can cause the simulation to be inaccurate and cause you to see the inconsistencies that you encountered.

Heh, don't worry about it - I was trying to get someone streaming yesterday and it wouldn't work. Turned out he had punkbuster disabled :rolleyes: My god I facepalmed at that one - took all day to narrow it down to his modded command line :P

You, sir, are full of awesome and win. I went to see Disturbed at the Liverpool Carling Academy a couple of years back - supported by Nevermore. They absolutely destroyed the place. Fantastic gig and a fantastic band. I love their new release - but they don't really seem to evolve as a band. It begins to all sound the same.

I had a very lucky friend go to see one of their shows - he said you could feel the heat right at the back :D I must get that DVD, I have seen clips on youtube, but its just not as awesome in teeny-weeny-eye-strain-o-vision. :(

GUIDs will only be added to the MBI when caught with streaming logs from the server as evidence. The only things that PBBans will ban for are cheat related. So, to put it frankly, they were bullshitting ;) If the guy was hacking and was subsequently kicked by PB for a violation then he would be added to the MBI. If he was manually banned by a server admin using pb_sv_ban then he will not be added to the MBI - as there is no evidence that he was hacking.

Wow... its the first time I have seen that! Perhaps you could let it download the patch again like it is requesting? It is only a tiny patch (about 20Mb IIRC) - and would probably make the problem go away.

Correct. If someone in my clan was local to me and using the same ISP - there is a chance that they would get the same IP as me eventually - this would cause our GUIDs to be linked in the MPI.

Really? I have never found mine there on my vista machine. Maybe because I run it on a different partition? Who knows - one of the many mysteries of Vista :P
