  1. Download PB from EvenBalance.com, but as AcE advised due to you being kicked you'll probably need to speak to EvenBalance (support ticket) to have the cause determined before you'll be able to play properly.
  2. What?! Why would you want to test cheats? :( *mutters under breath and walks away* B)
  3. Will +1 for these. We did move away from GD after being with them for a year, last year, to try co-location. That didn't quite work out so we moved back two months later and took them up on one of their top end servers with a nice deal.
  4. High Ranking Activision Exec. Resigns Source: http://g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/704297/High-Ranking-Activision-Exec-Resigns-The-Same-Day-As-Infinity-Ward-Lawsuit.html
  5. As Benway posted though... your ban isn't even enforced by PBBans. It's enforced by EvenBalance, we are not EvenBalance. MPI Details You're argument is really with them and the implementation of their bans, not PBBans bans.
  6. If a serial is leaked but not banned it's obviously not on the ban list. Duplicate GUID kicks are enforced by a Punkbuster feature called GUIDRelax, this enables the kicking of people at various restriction levels. All PBBans distributed config's contains the GUIDRelax at 0 which helps keep the servers free from invalid and duplicate keys (in use on any PB enabled server). GUIDRelax is available for any PB enabled server and is nothing to do with a PBBans setup, except the fact that we utilize it. Bans are only issued at PBBans when evidence is presented for that ban. Just look at the ban records for yourself, they're as a result of "known, researched, confirmed" hacks, Punkbuster violations (determined by EvenBalance, the developers of Punkbuster) or on submission of demo/screenshot evidence. All bans are aired on the safe side, if there's reasonable doubt or a possibility that something isn't a hack it's determined inconclusive. All PBBans Ban Appeals are dealt with by PBBans. Bans enforced by other lists or by EvenBalance are dealt with the organisations independently. Bans enforced by PBBans, enforces bans on known cheat GUIDs. If people can't protect CD-Keys then that says an awful lot about the security of their machine and what they choose to download. These keys don't just magically attach themselves to emails and distribute themselves. As with all ban data the IP address responsible for the hack is displayed on the ban record. If you look through the forums you'd see that we support people who have had their keys stolen giving them appropriate advice and supporting them with information that proves they were not behind the hack. However, if someone tries to pull a fast one, claims it wasn't them and the evidence says otherwise they'll be shifted to the restricted users group and their post moved from public display. Not true, simply unable to play the game on PBBans streaming servers. There are many anti-cheat organisations out there, are you having this argument with them all? People can still play on non streaming servers, or if EvenBalance have enforced a global ban on them non-punkbuster enabled servers. Then we're doing them a favour by highlighting their insecure system/key leak for them. Yes some hacks are undetected but that's what cheat research is for.
  7. No peace and love here. Bans are enforced for genuine violations, it's your job as a CD Key owner to keep that key safe.
  8. From your Xfire PM: Just so everyone else is seeing everything. I really think considering this bit is about your GT account that you need to contact them, they should be able to determine from IP logs as to whether your account security was/has been compromised.
  9. You can also download the ban lists from: http://www.pbbans.com/mbi.php before you have an approved application. That'll help you keep servers clean from "known" hackers. Although for full protection you'd want the active cheat checks and full access to PBBans resources. If you do download ban lists just remember to keep them relatively up to date, i.e. to benefit from new bans, and the removal of listed bans which have been determined false positives.
  10. You're probably going to want a few more members. AFAIK there isn't a specified minimum member requirement... I think it just needs to be a positive representation of a clan or team and determination to keep things going showing signs of activity.

  17. I only read your first and last post, not the stuff in between, as I said. If he has a friend at EvenBalance then good for him but I don't see how that affects your situation, sounds like trolling. It's unlikely. I work in IT and deal with IT security on a regular basis. The more likely scenario is malicious software on your machine. Wipe your computer and re-install the OS, problem solved. Don't use dodgy/un-necessary software, i.e. software which you don't really need or claims to improve your game experience. A simple Google usually highlights whether a program is dodgy because of user discussion. I'm not really following this game tracker stuff, bit confused. Screen shots of what you're saying could be useful in helping me understand. If he simply had a similar name to you then that means he's just silly and trying to wind you up.
  18. I deliberately haven't read any of the replies made to this topic so what I write is completely independent (as you wanted on your last post). 1) wall of text, never good. 2) Black Screenshots with PB are as a result of Anti-Aliasing + DX onwards, it's a known bug. - Some hacks do block screen shots, but the above is usually the case; - As for "unblocking", run an older operating system/DX version with anti-aliasing off (assuming the above is the issue). 3) Local bans are at the discretion of the individual server admin's. Personally we don't ban for black screen shots, mainly because we'd ban 80% of our visitors, but no one here has the authority to require admin's to lift discretionary local bans. - That said you're also better off avoiding servers which ban for black screen shots because they clearly don't comprehend the known issue with anti-cheat/PB; - Move on and go play on other servers, take it as a good thing :) 4) There is no such thing as an "auto-kick" for blocked screen shots. 5) If someone managed to hack into your computer then there has to be software on your machine which is causing the insecurity. I would suggest you do the necessary anti-virus/anti-malware, spyware scans and have a good firewall. 6) Impersonating your IP address is impossible without being connected using the same connection you are. 7) Again 5, run the software - Windows Live Security Essential, AVG, Symantec, etc - use trusted software! If a virus has been detected anywhere on your machine it's usually best to completely re-format. 8) If you're concerned that your CDKey has been leaked, get a new one. GUIDs can't be faked as they are a unique 32 character string. 9) We don't ban on request. PBBans requires you to have streaming admin status, and to have a streaming server connected in a DC. The player must actively be hacking on your server. 10) Hacking is illegal in most countries. If you have concerns and any substantial evidence then contact the appropriate Law Enforcement Agency in your country. Next bit, your last post: Chill out, you came here and posted. Not everyone appreciates all the responses but no need to get on a high horse over them. (it hurt my brain to separate the wall of text, and proper English instead of short-hand text language would have been nice.) Please don't lower yourself to the level of suggesting we run around with hackers, any respect you have as an individual starts running out the window when you say things like that. If hackers hack and they meet the standard of evidence required then a PBBans ban is enforced, without exception. Lastly, I read your issue and I replied so again just chill out a bit.
  19. If you stream you'll get access to the SGA forums. In the SGA BF:BC2 forum there's many posts on people rolling R9 back to R8, until R10. As well as that there's the pb task fix which shows PB as off but it's actually enabled, which means players connect believing that the server has pb disabled but it's protected and streaming, thus keeping your server protected while helping to populate it. That's the best win-win solution so far with BF:BC2.
  20. So basically they were banned? You might as well just stream to PBBans to be honest... There's little point in populating and having hackers come in and ruin it, you'll find your population ends up to be of higher quality if you do.
  21. I think I'd buy it for $10, certainly would beat side by side windows and ASC and DESC sorting in a text file.

  23. Sauberkeit. Appeal it! Verwenden Sie die unzensierte MPI Daten. Edit: Shorter sentences work in translaters :P
  24. I imagine definately one for MaydaX It sounds rather simple when I think about it in my head... One page, type in two GUIDs, select the game from each GUID and end up on a page which highlights common aliases and IP addresses from the pulled SQL data. Potential idea for a new tool?
  25. Banned GUID: 129630f7 Agent_Luke 94.221.*.228 27. Es gibt keine Anhaltspunkte dafür, dass Sie die verbotenen Hacker und ein Verbot gegen dich am MPI Daten basieren dünn ist am besten.
