  1. Wrong Hub IP Address? Should be as below not your game server IP and port.
  2. So which one's the cheater?
  3. As HSMagnet said: - Run the Automated Hub Setup webtool on new server; - Delete old from team account; - Add new to team account. Until your new server is on the account we can only speculate about possible streaming issues (which is pointless).
  4. I guess you'll need to first wait and see as to whether the developers use PunkBuster and EB are contracted for the game as the anti-cheat solution.

  6. http://www.pbbans.com/mpi/results.php?srchtype=GUID&srchdata=b36d97777b947908dc23393c7dd19631&game_id=13&showLG=yes&showAT=yes&safeview=no Battlefield 2 GUID: b36d97777b947908dc23393c7dd19631 Aliases: If this is your GUID there is no evidence on the MPi to suggest that you have received a ban from PBBans. All violations raised under PBBans MBi relate to violation IPs in different countries therefeore as far as our security check would go on you: you are clean. If you were not you would have been moved to a restricted users group. In this case I believe the clan is wrongly interpreting the MPi so please feel free to give them a link to this thread.
  7. Doesn't it just sound promising! Public Server Files + PB to come, or die
  8. This is because, based on past experience, people have applied to stream and just stopped a few weeks later because their clan died. We want to see clans come in with a force of activity that shows they're not just going to disappear 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 weeks later. Get some members posting on your site, show you're committed to your new clan and then reapply when you think your activity level has improve :)

  11. I'll agree with you that I don't think that all the responses that came about (from some others) were the best possible ones. I think people got their backs up and it's easily done when discussing such a controversial subject; but unfortunately your responses wavered from a genuine debate perspective to more of a flaming argument and it all went downhill from there. A major issue for me, and a few others, was the threat made; and while I believe it was while things were heated, you should have never gone there. However, the above said while your integrity to deal with the original topic wavered it does take balls to come back and apologise in such a public way which only adds to your integrity to want to deal with issues and follow them through in the proper way in the end. We're all entitled to make mistakes and I don't think this is by any means the worse that has ever come up, or will come up. I think now you've understood why the policy is in place you need to look at your clan and still decide if it meets our streaming requirements, then have a think as to whether you feel you could integrate yourself back into the streaming community and maintain the integrity of your clan to the standard that we require you to. If you feel that this is just a hiccup then make a topic in http://www.pbbans.com/forums/account-questions-and-troubleshooting-private-f553.html about future streaming with a link to this thread and the accounts staff will look over your request/clan, etc, and make a decision from there.
  12. As Big_Guy21 said though we're not EvenBalance, the developers of PunkBuster. We're a third party organisation which utilizes PunkBuster technology and one of the many attractive features of the service we provide is live detection of cheats and banning of cheaters. EvenBalance do actually do delayed bans, that's why every now and again there are lots of new global bans issued. You put MW2 (VAC) against MW1 (PB with PBBans Streaming) and the difference speaks for itself. I'm not saying delayed bans don't have their benefits but they also have their drawbacks; in our case implementing delayed bans just isn't appropriate. Why would anyone want to stream their servers here if they had to put up with servers full of cheaters for 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 weeks before they got banned? When I go and play on streaming servers, my clan's servers, etc I want to play with those who aren't using cheats (and detect those that are). As our tag line is: Always Quality over Quantity. Suggestions for PunkBuster are best aimed at EvenBalance: http://ssl.evenbalance.com/troubleticket/ nothing said on our forums is going to influence EB.
  13. IMHO it makes a huge impact if you allow people to cheat for a few days and then blanket ban them. If you detect a violation you might as well have them banned straight away, rather than letting players endure gaming sessions with cheaters. What's the point in delaying what's going to happen anyway? and if you adopt the instant banning method it allows you to determine if new releases of cheat files have been made. This is why people don't like VAC.
  14. 5 month old thread :(
  15. Did you set your GUID relax to 0 as instructed above? Checked your other config's for a GUID relax variable? and then restarted PB?
  16. You better stop doing so then ;P
  17. At your own risk - personally I'd always encourage people to avoid third party tools. I'm also not entirely sure whether it's in violation of an EULA either: as the product isn't intended to be run in the way required (which wouldn't surprise me).
  18. Once you've resolved the above authentication issue that HSMagnet pointed out you'll need to reapply.
  19. The server you specified is attached to a Team Account that you are not attached to. ---------- Account Information ---------- Team: R!otgamers (R!*) Account ID: 5548 Streaming Status: Streaming (1 / 1) ---------- Server List ---------- COD4 - 85.190.6.149:28960 (Streaming) ---------- User List ---------- armisael (109483)
  20. Looks Awesome! (Keeps fingers crossed for the AC + public server files)... 1st September 2010 = all questions answered?
  21. ... as you said it isn't acceptable not to meet the streaming requirements. Please meet the requirements and then follow up your request - the requirements are in place for very good reason as I'm sure you are well aware.
  22. Rabbit looks high!

  24. You can use the Automated Hub Setup, see my signature for the link. Also look at the two links on CVARs and MD5s and the Hub Streaming Guide.
