Based on your response, I think the probable explanation is the temporary removal of an AC site from our EBL which means none of their bans are enforced via the EBL flags on the hub, nor is their ban data displayed on the MPi (which would explain the colour change if they were enforcing a ban on said GUID). As for the invalid GUID, it's likely that said site was enforcing a ban over the invalid GUID.

All looks fine on a UserIP and GUID record with linked bans, for me anyway, Could you attempt to replicate this issue and post a walk through here...?

You can't, only EvenBalance could; if they did. If you can't ban GUIDs then IP banning is your next, but lousy, option.

All the mandatory reqirements were put in place to address security issues we have come accross in the past. If anything, in the future these requirements will get tougher not easier. If you can not comply with any of the mandatory streaming requirements, then an application for a team account is a waste of yours and our time.

I'm not banking on an answer, in-fact I'm thinking of money on VAC being a complete let down for at least the first... say 2 years until the game dies? :lol:

As a PC gamer I'm not fussed about contracts. Simple question are they prepared to do the necessary if it comes to it, or not? If they can't answer the question then I won't buy and I'm sure it's a question that many want an answer too. I know the logistics of it, I simply don't care.

VAC has it's advantages but also has it's disadvantages, so does PunkBuster but it is the 'known' for Call of Duty Anti-Cheat. Hopefully this thread won't turn into a descending war over those. One question, and I think you owe the PC Community an honest and upfront answer. You've made a fairly bold statement/promise and we want to know that Treyarch is prepared to do what is necessary if the time comes: If Treyarch is really serious about protecting the integrity of this game from hackers and cheaters, and VAC does not work out - will Treyarch ditch VAC and change to PunkBuster?
