The only allowed pbucon types are 1(if you want live bans and other planned enhanced features) or 0 ( if you want to disable live bans ).
If we find servers that are using 2 or 3 ( this causes the actual game logs to be streamed ) we will consider this as an attempt to overload the hub, your server will be immediately removed and your account suspended for one month!
Note: pb_sv_uconadd 1 63.171.64.245 pbbans pbbans is set as default

Always worth remembering that google is your friend.
for communication failure errors .. its always best practise to run pbsetup before any gaming session.

You are not on PBBans banlist :)
Nor will anyone be added to the MBI simply at the request of an ill informed admin via e-mail.
Every ban that makes it to the MBI must be accompanied by evidence supported by streamed information.
Accusations of any type that are not supported by streamed logs can be faked relatively easily and get dealt with accordingly.

Hello i have recently reinstalled joint ops typhoon rising to go play on some nova servers only to find out that it seems punkbuster dropped their support of the game...that i can deal with but i can't find a single place to download their last pb update for the game, the pbsetup won't actually update the pb info so i can't get into any servers that are pb enabled, i've scoured google up and down and now i am asking for somebodies help around here to possibly have the files emailed to me or something...its pretty lame that i can't play any decent servers in the game because of this!

Try entering the command pb_security 0 via the game console or whatever jotr uses :P
This will allow PB to download and update from the server.

We only accept pbss from streaming servers .. this is not PBBans saying "you dont stream so tough titty" .. its PBBans saying that every pbss that is submitted for review re addition to the Master Ban Index (MBI) is thouroughly checked out via streamed information to ensure no "photoshop pro" submissions ever make it to the MBI.

So SHOULD pb_sv_cvar r_intensity be set?
As a range?
What SHOULD the range be?
I tested the example ( pb_sv_cvar r_intensity IN 1 1.5 ) on my server and 6 of us ( 4 Clan, 2 Regulars ) got hit for being at "0".
dont play the game but afaik the default setting is 1
I did say that these cvars are entirely at the server admins discretion.
try this as a test:
pb_sv_cvar r_intensity IN 0 2
This will force all players who connect to your server to have their r_intensity setting within 0 to 2 .. anything above 2 = kick if not changed within 2 mins.
I always bring down the console after joining a server and wait for PB to do its thing .. it will tell you straight away if you have a cvar setting that is not compliant with the servers settings.

OOOOO thank jeebuz lol. This has been happening several times to a few of my members and i was getting kinda worried o.o could it possibly have anything to do with the fact that he plays from the UK? i wouldnt think so but he gets it the most often.
Ignoring md5 queries is normally associated with network probs/packet loss/ lack of bandwidth, to name but 3 :)
