i have to manually enter in my games. it doesnt automatically find em for me..
yah .. maybe I should have been a little more specific .. the auto detection and update happens after you have added your pb supported games.

I find it best to create a folder on the desktop and run pbsetup from there .. it will auto detect pb enabled games on your pc and when you click "check for updates" you can actually watch it in action .. its best practise to run pbsetup prior to any gaming session. :)

There are certain cvars that "tweak" the brightness / gamma etc.
These are normally the culprits :P
pb_sv_cvar r_picmip
pb_sv_cvar r_gamma
pb_sv_cvar r_intensity
pb_sv_cvar r_overbrightbits
pb_sv_cvar r_mapoverbrightbits
Most admins set them within restrictive ranges to create an even playing field for all, and players must correct any discrepancies between what they have set, and what the server demands, within a specified time or a kick is given.

this indicates an error at your end and settings need to be checked.
there is a troubleshooting guide at the end of this post:

if you want a bit of advice .. delete everything off your ftp that concerns pbucon.
this includes.;
the blank file pbucon.use
the cfg file pbbans_hub.cfg
and at the end of your pbsv.cfg .. if you see this or something like it:

pb_sv_usessionlimit 0
pb_sv_ucontimeout 300
pb_sv_uconempty
pb_sv_uconignoreempty
delete that too
delete the command line pb_sv_load pbbans_hub.cfg from your pbsv.cfg
once this is done initiate hub streaming via rcon, one line at a time.

screenshots are stored by default in the svss folder in the pb directory .. you will need ftp access to be able to view them.
