I keep getting kicked by PunkBuster for "Insufficient O/S Privileges"?
Download and run this file from any location, it will check for adware that stops you from being able to play on PB servers. The VX2 adware edits your user rights when it infects your computer, and many programs do not repair this when they remove it.

Click the "Find VX2.betterinternet info" button to make sure that you don't have this adware. If there are no files listed, go on to the last step. If you find the adware files, (it is usually 3 random named dll files) Select all the files found.
Press 'Delete These Files'. The program will delete all files but one that will be deleted on reboot. Allow program to reboot. Once Restarted:
* Press 'Guardian.reg'.
* Press 'User Agent'.
* Press 'Restore Policy'.
Clicking on "find vx2.BetterInternet info" again should show all fields blank.
If you have no adware files, just click on the "Restore Policy" Button

our server admin has looked and can see no notification in rcon with an issue of a ban or time related ban..grr..any other possabilities?
get an admin who knows what he's looking for to look :P
PB_SV_BanList [optional_search_text]
Displays the list of bans in the console, including kicks with a temporary ban; if the [optional_search_text] parameter is specified, then only bans/kicks that include the search text are listed (useful for searching for a specific name / guid).
the timed kick was probably imposed by slot # and was probably meant for someone else .. if you use the status command in rcon it is notorious for returning the wrong slot # of players in q3 engine games for example.
if the admin enters pb_sv_banlist into the console window of HLSW all relevant info will be displayed right there in front of him.
your other option is to wait out the 34,000 minutes :)

someone with admin priviliges has applied a timed kick of unusal length to you and the other player would be my guess :)
a quick peek by an admin using the pb_sv_banlist command via rcon will show wether thats the correct guess.
perm bans are shown as 0/-1
temp bans are shown as 0/-2

This server does not show as a "new server" waiting to be added to the rep.
This means there is an error in configuration at your end.
As an alternative you may want to try the PBBans recommended method of streaming the PBBans Hub.

I dont know other staff opinions but your clan name imo would not be in our best interest to advertise as PBBans protected.

Please contact AASA regarding this ban and specifically state that restriction kicks are not cheats. I agree that the unknown Window API function is not a definite cheat (more often caused by malware, drivers, updates etc.). It may however be that a (small) part of restriction kicks may be caused by cheats, but this is no guarantee.
My advice to AASA is simple: stop banning for all restriction kicks and also remove prior restriction violations fro the AASA banlist. Please limit the banlist to cheat violations only.
If AASA ignore that advice it shows a complete disregard for all that decent anti cheat sites stand for.

now watch your servers pbbans.dat get auto updated instantly with any catches made for your particular game on any server :)

I believe I made the necessary adjustments (files and settings) to allow for the hub streaming as well. I can make a separate post if needed. Both Servers

The Hub has a lot of advantages over the ancient rep streaming system.
Thats why its the recommended method of streaming here at PBBans.
6 commands via rcon and streaming is instant.

Thanks Fozzer. I added a second server through the account manager, should I make a separate post for that as well?
I am looking at the admin side of account manager as I type .. I see 2 servers added to your account but only 1 is streaming .. I would take a look at your second servers settings bro :)

With absolutely nothing to go on, the reply is what I would expect tbh.
As far as I am aware your the only player from the thousands that play pb enabled servers that this particular problem has affected.
I personally would elect to try a complete uninstall/re-install .. making sure that everything was installed to the default locations, and before trying to enter a server I would make sure I ran pbsetup.exe to ensure my client PB was bang up to date.

I guess Fozzer is wrong about PBBans, integrity is not the main concern any longer.
On the contrary, integrity of PBBans and the guys and gals that use our service is still paramount.
Your streaming request was denied because as it stands right now you can't even run the PBBans MBI on your server because you have a cheater in your midst who is also listed as an admin on your site.
I would suggest that far from PBBans integrity being called into question, you would be well advised to look closer to home.
