the type of mod has no effect what so ever on your root pb directory :)

If you were detected with a multihack on a server that streams to no anti cheat site then regardless of wether it was a bona fide cheat detection becomes a moot point as the ban will only apply to the server you were detected on.
By simply uninstalling the cheat you would be able to play on any other pb enabled server with np.
point of info for the server admin - by streaming your sv logs to an anti cheat site completely eliminates the " i was framed whine" and makes your server as clean as possible for your regular clientelle.

As it stands now the player can not prove with 100% certainty that the server kick/ban message he got was a localised kick/ban .. and by the same token the server admin can not prove with 100% certainty that this was a genuine pb kick/ban for a multihack violation.
Best solution all round is for the server to get streaming and thus avoid similar situations cropping up.

surely this question should be directed at cb/gv who are deliberately infringing a server admins choices by forcing changes to the admins pb settings.
A simple solution is dont use the gv public server cfg :)
For example .. you could stream to PsB using the old rep. method and stream to PBBans using the Hub, and take advantage of having support and cvar/md5 scan information from the 2 anti cheat sites that are listed here as the only 2 anti cheat sites that offer full punkbuster support for all PB enabled games.
The only streaming to gv that is a requirement is when you play a cod2 cb scrim and that only requires an exec of a war.cfg on the server you use for scrims and can be switched right back to whatever you choose as soon as said scrim is over.
I can not for the life of me understand why any admin who pays for their servers allow outside parties to directly interfere with their PB settings on public servers.

there is a mod out as the etadmin mod, but for cod.
I think if there is any possibility it would be a great help.

Can he request that it be removed, being a normal user, I'd to think just anyone can request a server be removed from streaming?
/me slaps raistlins wrist .. any request re servers that stream must come from the admin who initiated the streaming .. if the request is to cancel streaming then part of the cancellation process is a forum downgrade to member .. he was a SGA now he's a member

contact the server admin and have him come here and stream his server via the Hub .. that way his server gets PBBans protection with the minimum of fuss :)

err I am referring to what would happen if PB support were no longer to exist for SOF II in my above post. Sorry for not clarifying that <_>
:) np .. if PB did drop sof2 support streaming becomes a moot point because we would follow suit immediately after :P

The default PB message prefix can be customised np.
Actual proof of what went on can only be conjecture because the server was not streaming to PBBans or any other anti cheat site.
This type of "conflict" could go on forever with no resolution because neither claimant has the cast iron guarantee that streamed logs provide.
||DirectX|| needs to move on and find another server to play on.
The admin of server 85.91.233.223:28965 should look into streaming ... this would put an end to everyone playing guessing games as to what happened.
