@ SinBad-OTF Part of the problem is that you had not entered a pbguid into your team account details. A verified pbguid must be added to your team account details and after a 30 day wait period you will then have full access to the MPI and what it has to offer. I have added your BF3 pbguid to your team account details for you, it has been verified, and the 30 day wait period starts as from now.

First you will need a team account. http://www.pbbans.com/info-center-beginnersguide.html http://www.pbbans.com/streaming-application.html

It's a restriction kick that has appeared on other games in the past and been fixed by Even Balance staff. This is a response way back in 2007 when the same issue affected another game; http://www.pbbans.com/forums/corrupt-module-kick-info-t30760.html/page__view__findpost__p__85292 Expect something similar pretty soon judging by the number of players/servers that are currently experiencing this issue.

Unproven ? Keep posting HappyHarry, I'm sure a lot of folks reading this are becoming enlightened and will make their own decisions on what's proven or not.
-
I've read that there is a mountain range hidden in the Netherlands -_- Here is something else I read; and here is what happened as a result; Does that look like cooperation toward a common goal ? Is that showing respect and fairness ? I will continue to point out the proven facts whenever I am asked, as opposed to something I read somewhere .. especially on our own forums. Like I posted earlier, you can not defend the indefensible.

If a person can register on a forum and a few minutes later be able to stream a server, you are vulnerable to spoofed fake bans being added to your ban list ... no bullshit, just fact. I have a shed load of recent examples but whats the point of informing you when all you do is remove them on the quiet and carry on regardless. We did get hit back in 2008 that much is true, but we elected to do something about tackling the root cause after informing our membership and outlining the whole issue .... PBBans did not just remove those spoofed, fake bans and carry on as if nothing untoward had happened. Every streaming service is vulnerable, that is true also ... but those that just require forum registration and are able to stream servers a few minutes later are a thousand times more vulnerable than someone who has requirements in place before allowing streaming. As for sharing goals ... I would disagree with that statement. PBBans regards quality of service above all else and as you are well aware; There are valid reasons why "home" servers are not allowed to stream via PBBans. There are valid reasons why we do not allow cheaters or cheat coders to stream via PBBans. There are valid reasons why mandatory streaming requirements need to be in place before allowing streaming. Do I need to go on ? (that's just the tip of the iceberg) You can not defend the indefensible, and until you put your own house in some kind of order you will continue to be hit with those spoofed fake bans on a regular basis .... no bullshit ... just fact.
-
I find it quite unbelievable that despite knowing exactly why the mandatory streaming requirements are in place .... despite knowing that PBBans is the only anti cheat site that has no spoofed, fake bans on the ban list (all via forum pm) ... you are still reluctant to seek the easy option and seem rather put out that we insist on mandatory streaming requirements for every group that uses our service. Does no one give a toss about quality any more ? There are tons of free website options available if you care to go down that route. The more easier option is to contact BFO/Mockdot and tell him you have a server of your own that you would like to tag on to his groups team account. He can then add you to the groups team account admins ... you will always have control of the server, because its you that has the rcon password etc etc no matter what happens. You should not have used the BFO website details on any application without seeking permission first .. if you had of asked, BFO/Mockdot would probably have told you that they already have an active streaming team account. For future reference, to create a ticket you click the header tab that has "Ticket System" written on it when you open the PBBans forum link.

Constant re-application of server streaming
fozzer replied to Qtr.Cask's topic in Streaming Questions and Troubleshooting
All none streaming issues are client side. The first thing to do when a server just stops streaming is to run the Automated Hub Setup again; http://www.pbbans.com/automated-streaming-setup.html If you are having to go through the setup procedure every time the server restarts, it's obvious that your server is on a "crontab" of sorts and the server is loading a default cfg that does not contain your streaming commands that you sent to it in the setup phase. If you can not figure it out yourself, raise a ticket with your RSP and tell them what your issue is .. hopefully they can then sort it out for you :) -
http://www.pbbans.com/forums/is-violation-aimbot-50508-false-t144872.html Nothing is going to change re the mandatory streaming requirements,

PBBans can only accept evidence obtained on servers that stream their logs via PBBans. This is to ensure that the evidence provided has not been tampered with in any way. This is especially important re any demo evidence that is submitted to PBBans for consideration. The demo must be taken by an "in game" recording facility provided by the game developers. The demo must be from a streaming server. The demo must be submitted by the streaming server admin. The demo must be accompanied by the relevant log entries that are part of the demo submission process here at PBBans. Only when a demo meets all the above criteria can the validation process to prove authenticity begin on our side of things. Any demo/video taken with an outside recording facility such as fraps etc etc, or posted on xfire or youtube, is not valid and easily "doctored" by malicious users.

There's an easy fix for all the ails that affect modern day pc gaming. Revert back to the old school dedicated server scenario, or is that being too simplistic ^_^
-
Got to love dynamic IP's  We would need your game pbguid or a link to the ban, to ascertain exactly what you were banned for and what anti cheat site issued the ban to assist you further. At PBBans all issued bans for cheat use are permanent and never expire.
-
I think you are confusing PBBans with EvenBalance the creators of PunkBuster
-
Have either of you opened a troubleticket with Even Balance ?
-
http://www.pbbans.com/forums/server-stopped-streaming-t152395.html What applies to one, also applies to all with the same issue.
-
The only time we remove a server IP from the blacklist is when the server IP belonged to a group that was suspended from streaming via PBBans for one reason or another. We have never removed a server IP from the blacklist if it appears on the MPI. Sorry, but it's a hard and fast rule that will never change and helps us maintain security/integrity of our systems.

Got to love those EA responses :P

Your inability to distinguish what was posted to another guy in this thread and what was posted in direct response to you is equally overwhelming, and just like you, I personally do not have time for nonsense. This duplicate forum account is now flagged as spam, as will any other duplicate forum account you care to create. If you have anything to add or say to us you can do so in the restricted users forum section that your original forum account has access to. No one mentioned anything to do with your e-mail address, generic or otherwise. Someone who plays BF3 from your home address, raised this ban; http://www.pbbans.com/mbi-viewban-e2aac553-vb238251.html Which puts your original comments about PB software and its related admin tools in a rather different light as to what you would like us to perceive.
-
**update** I just ran a check on the e-mail address you used to register with PBBans and find that your a member of a known cheat site A VIP member no less with access to their private forum sections. Is it just me or is a pattern emerging here :scratchchin:
-
**update** Before you go off on a rant, the very least you should do is make sure your pbguid does not appear on a ban list. http://www.pbbans.com/mbi-viewban-e2aac553-vb238251.html
-
If you are confident that nothing at your end of things is causing this restriction kick. I would suggest raising your concerns with Even Balance (the creators of PunkBuster™ software) via troubleticket as opposed to posting on a third party anti cheat site that is not affiliated to Even Balance in any way. click me to raise a troubleticket There's a lot of cheaters complaining about this particular kick as well in their private forum sections, so maybe EB have been a bit "enthusiastic" with whatever they are using to detect certain cheats .... only by informing EB via troubleticket will you get this issue sorted.

Our server is not streaming
fozzer replied to elmonkeylp's topic in Streaming Questions and Troubleshooting
As posted earlier; The first thing to do when any server suddenly stops streaming is to rerun the Automated Hub Setup tool again; http://www.pbbans.com/automated-streaming-setup.html If the server is still refusing to stream, post back here and we will try to assist you further. -
Our server is not streaming
fozzer replied to elmonkeylp's topic in Streaming Questions and Troubleshooting
All none streaming issues are client side. If there was a problem at our end of things, all servers would be affected and not just one. The most common reasons we are see re none streaming BF3 servers are; 1. After a restart the server defaults to a standard cfg that does not contain the ucon commands needed for Hub streaming. 2. The PB task has not been set to send regular heartbeats to the Hub even if your server is empty for long periods (pb_sv_task 0 7200 pb_sv_ver) 3. Admin error (removed the ucon commands by mistake) The first thing to do when any server suddenly stops streaming is to rerun the Automated Hub Setup tool again; http://www.pbbans.com/automated-streaming-setup.html If the server is still refusing to stream, post back here and we will try to assist you further.
