Our admins have the choice of what method of initiating streaming to use.
Rep or Hub.
We have 0 rep. servers and over 4,000 Hub servers.
The PBBans Hub is the recommended method of initiating streaming, give it a try and you will see just why it is the server admins choice of streaming. :)
Pretty soon I think that the rep. method will be phased out completely at PBBans, it just does not compare to Hub streaming.

Whenever a server suddenly stops streaming, the first thing I check is that PB is enabled.
Next thing is to check its fully updated.
Next, see if your server reponds to a basic PB command such as pb_sv_ver.
If all seems to be working ok, re-enter the streaming commands via rcon, one line at a time;
pb_sv_writecfg pbucon.use
pb_sv_restart
... wait 20 seconds
pb_sv_task 50 3600 pb_sv_ver
pb_sv_usessionlimit 3
pb_sv_autoupdban 1
pb_sv_uconadd 1 64.27.21.46 pbbanshub pbbanshub
pb_sv_writecfg

We run an older version of ETPub, largely because the newer versions will cause MAX_GAMESTATE_CHARS more often (64 players).
Any chance there will be a PB update that will help fight this?

I do not see any team account in the PBBans system related to you ZTedster.
If cheat coders advertised their cheats as detectable, how many do you think they would sell ?
PunkBuster does a lot of silent detections, wereby they log who is using a particular cheat and do nothing.
When the hit's dry up for new users a mass ban is issued to all who were logged, we see this more frequently now.
PBBans updates for cvar/md5 scans are done a lot more frequently than every few months.
PBBans employs the PBBans Hub to save on server resources, why not give it a try with the 2 servers you have spare (I presume your streaming elsewhere because I dont see any team account details relating to you)

Its always worth remembering that the guy who puts his hard earned $$$ on the line and lets peeps play for free on his server(s) always has the last word on who can play on it and who cant.
If you dont like it rent a server, become admin, let whoever you want play on it :P

i just wonder if you have to take yourself a snapshot of a cheater or if this is done automatically.
Also, is there an app that automatically shows this on a website?

The setting up of auto pbss is completely the server admins choice/responsibility.
There is an excellent tutorial on how to do that here;

All that is streamed to PBBans is the MD5 hash (digital fingerprint) of every pbss taken on every server so that if a server admin submits a pbss as evidence of cheating, it can be verified as genuine/untampered by cross referencing the MD5 hash.

I simply gave up "Couldnt find exactly what i needed despite reading alot of posts" not knowing enough about pb and how it works , i didnt want to simply replace my pb files on my server and not be able to undo it should something go wrong...
Guess you could say "there was nothing I could find that was CLEAR - START HERE - DO A>B>C>D etc FINISH HERE
and your all done ..
seems to much info scattered all over the place.
So i guess i`ll just have to carry on reading , learing which is a shame because we have had 2 or 3 multihack users logged in our logs this past 2 weeks and it would have been nice to have globally banned them!

I was just activated earlier today.I setup the hub exactly as it is stated,I went throught stream fix.reinstalled several times .I installed pbsv.cfg file from your site and still no go.Server machine running vista 32,If run the command prompt I can ping websites ,punksbusted and so forth.but when I ping rep.pbbans.com i get a timeout session and none of the packets are returned.I have done this from 2 other locations one close to me and the other from new zealand .So i don't think it is from my end but don't know for sure.I am not sure that helps youor not but could you let me know the next step
in trying to get my server to stream.Not sure how long it takes to start to stream but I know with punksbusted it takes about 24 hrs.

Forget the rep for PBBans, we have moved to a high tech method of streaming that is completely "live"/as it happens.

After you read that, all it takes is a few rcon commands and your streaming, instantly.

I was baneded on a sevrer, not cause of cheat but personal matter with admin :rolleyes:
Now all servers that use PB stream ban me automaticly (it says: dou some previuse ban PB bla bla you are banded on this sever by admins) :blink:
So how can this be resolved. Its not cool that i bought this game (i dont have lots of cash) and i cant play it dou some issuse with some admin.
I dont cheat, never tryed a cheat so why me :(
Your wrong.
No admin can place your pbguid on any anti cheat sites banlist unless positive proof via streamed logs is provided that a cheat has been used.
What game are we talking about here btw ?

Hi guys this is a request to see if we are able to stream a server that was previously banned from pbbans due the fact that the server was stoped and nobody from our team informed or removed the server from pbbans and now the server was turn back on and we want to know what we can do to stream it again with PBans because when we tried to add it to: Account Manager - Add Server it says the following: Server 208.67.250.53:27970 is banned from pbbans. All attempts are logged and reported to PBBans Staff
Can you guys please help us or let us know what we can do to make it stream again with you guys and thanks in advance.

I'm in work at the moment so access is limited.
No server would ever be banned because it had "stopped".
The only servers that make it onto the banned list are cracked servers or servers that a cheater is trying to stream for one reason or another.
I think this server was one of the latter.
If no one else sorts it out I will do it myself when I get in tonight. (2300hrs GMT) :)

Had both of our servers rebuilt today.
Main server: added a fresh pbucon and pbsv file, which was downloaded today added to server and now punkbuster wont run on the server.
match server: not touched anything and pb is running.
So i would suggest that this is no longer an issue with the GSP but an issue with either of the files downloaded from pbbans today?
Thats funny, I see both your servers now streaming :P

Dont be so free with your rcon :) PB needs to be enabled and if pb_sv_enable aint doing it for ya, it will probably require either you or your hoster to add +set sv_punkbuster 1 into your servers command start line.

I am trying to add our new CoD4 server to my account manager but when i fill in all the details and click "Add Server", it comes up with the following message:
Server 91.186.3.155:28:28964 is already streaming
Any ideas why i cant add this server to my account?

When I enter that server ip:port into hlsw the result iI get is;
91.186.3.155:28 540Hosting.com | ={TSC}= Match Server
and its totally dead / timed out.
