Have you patched the game to the latest version ? if not download and install the latest patch clickme. Next update your punkbuster clickme put the pbsetup.exe in your pb folder and run it eg: C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\pb. After updates have been applied try connecting to a server and see what happens.
