New checks were added.
-
It depends on STEAM developers. They need to consult it with EvenBalance.
-
Your pb is out of date. Update it using PB Setup
-
Ok. I can't find your ban here. Can you give me link please?
-
We have our own data and we are not affiliated in any way.
-
Only Streaming Game Admins can access it. You have to set up streaming
-
We will check it.
-
Our streaming method does not interfere with theirs.
You don't have update PBBans bans , simply open Account Manager -> View Servers -> Edit Flags
and tick 'Enforce Bans' option. Hub will check every players that connects to your server against mbi. If hes found on mbi, Hub will send ban command.
MD5 & Cvar checks:
This can't be done so simply as bans. You can use either ours or theirs or merge theirs and ours manually.
-
Check your pbsv.cfg ( if you keep pbbans settings in pbbans_hub.cfg, check pbbans_hub.cfg )
You should have there:
pb_sv_uconadd 1 64.27.21.46 pbbanshub pbbanshub
andpb_sv_usessionlimit 2
Check pb server version too.If this fails, either join our irc channel or try to set it up again but using RCON.

If you have any question regarding this violation, address them directly to EvenBalance.

Using warez keys is not legal. We are not going to modify any entry in MBI.
If you open another thread with the same topic, I will ban your forum account.

Would it be safe to put the FEAR MD5 checks in a pbsvuser.cfg in a Perseus Mandate server? I would imagine some of the filthy hacks would be the same or similar?
If it is a possibility then we could actually track which ones are active on PM also.
Good or bad idea until we get more info?
-=Os=-Agent_H
Its safe as long as you don't put there stock file checks.

Your server stopped streaming so you were automatically downgraded.

Hi.
We're currently having a lot of trouble on our servers. Certain cheaters have skipped the IP and GUID bans (since in our country IPs are dynamic and most of our servers are cracked so people can easily skip GUID bans just by using a KeyGenerator). I was wondering if there's any way to manually apply a hardware ban to this people in order to prevent their access to our servers.
Thanks in advance,
Doc
Call Of Duty Senior server administrator @ One.cl servers.
No. Global Hardware Bans are issued directly by EvenBalance, the makers of PB.
Simple solution : Don't use cracked servers and set pb_sv_guidrelax to 0.
Thread Closed until you stop using cracked servers.

try 1.41 not 1.41b
-
Servers are not correctly configured.
-
I really wonder why everyone keep using ftp way. Rcon/BF2cc way is much more easier.
-
Server wasn't streaming at that time.

Punkbuster and Wine
in General Discussions
Posted
Its not a PunkBuster but Game Developers. EvenBalance will port PB to any platform. You need to complain to game developers not to EvenBalance. All idSoftware games are avi for Linux as well and PB support them. It's not possible to get PB running under the wine. There are strong system API checks. Furthermore all PB versions above 1.500 has kernel drivers which can't be used in Wine.
