Did you ever try to turn AA off ? What OS are you using ? Cheap vid cards dont block ss's.. Ask the admins on the server if its happening to anyone else also ,,,, alot of times its because they set it up incorrectly ,,also this is quoted from PB itself : "Also, PunkBuster will not allow more than 3 screenshots to be requested from each player within any 10 minute period" ...if theyre trying to many to fast that will bring back a returned error message.

ok, 1st, no..pb cant ban people on a non-pb server....only the admins there can... now, as to accusations... if someone says "he must be cheating" ,,,, i get that alot,,99 percent of the time some new guy just got beat up by an old pro...again, I get that alot,,,, I use no sound and have fun to break the boredomn by going for headshots ,,,my best yet is 60\5 to win the map with 53 headshots....I get called a cheater alot,,, I'm not,,,I'm just skilled w\ yrs of gaming... The only TRUE way to catch a cheater is to stream.....admins\sysops are good but mostly its a speculation call,,,sometimes they kick\ban REALinnocent skilled players cause they think they hack,,PBBans doesnt ban for skills...they monitor your game w\ various md5\cvar checks...if a player comes on andgets busted by them then there was not wrong judgement,,the proof is there... they only ban when 100 percent proof is at hand...just lok at the thousands of bans so far...no guess work, they do the work for you :]

Ask the server owner to stream here...they will get banned..In the mean time it's all up to the owner and the admins to do the bans..chances are if you streamed you'd see most of the "cheaters" you see today are probably already on the master ban list here and would not be allowed onto your server again..but ,,,you gotta stream :]

Look at names w\ a gold star near them as there avatar,,,click on there name and pm anyone of them :]

we're doomed....... :( Fozz, any way to re-write the stages to make it an IP check\ban instead of key\guid or is that way to much work ? {comp illiterate here} I was talkin to a friend last night , I was tryin to explain how the guid ban operates and whats going on w\ same key output from the game co. itsself,,,,his idea was put guidrelax on 7 ,keep streaming for md5\cvar checks and ban IP based on what the scan finds ... maybe ?

Sorry man...not to sound like an idiot but confused... I have the same key since the day the game came out,,,are you saying someone else might have or get my key? I'm not worried about whomever getting banned...I know the protocal to ip\location towards a deff. ban,,I'm just wondering,,,my original key might be out now as a dup ? All these years of same key and only 3 ip's {cable co's changed}....just want to know if my info is safe. Cya

Sorry bud,,,pbbans doesnt go to servers and ban...It doesnt work that way,,read some topics here,,you stream to pbbans,,it checks files out...it bans if files have cheats in them..... They {the admins}dont go to any select servers to spec and ban ... Your hacker thou is a known hacker..... Tell your clan leader to change ALL adm\rcon passwords including in ftp and HLSW site if used...sry I can't be more help....

So it doesnt become public knowledge. ... if everyone knows what to watchout for {the bad guys} then they will try to find away around which cvars are on there ;)

I just checked your background...Your right,,,all info was clean including GUID check....sry bud,,no idea why that happened to you.... did you switch keys lately by any chance?

Your SS shot does infact say "global guid ban" ..that means yes, you are infact globally banned by PB...I've had my comp crash during a game and when i try to rejoin I do also get kicked for a short temp ban from PB till I reboot my comp...thats not what your ban states thou....A top adm here will probably be on shortly and cross-reference your IP\GUID w\ more info on it... Sry to give you the bad news....

Fozz,,,you know what would be nice,,,, a section for non-streamers to post ss's and demoes ,,,I know they cant be added to the MBI but atleast its good to look at and a good heads-up for other servers who do\dont stream ...just a thought :D

You have to remember 2 things important IceKing,,,every one is innocent till proven guilty ,,, almost everyone says they're innocent....these guys and EvenBalance always check to be sure a ban is correct....99.9 percent of the time they usually are :D

when you emptied it was it guid ban or IP ban that showed ? Chances are you cleared guid and they're all ip banned.... If thats the case you might have to manually remove each ip from the ban.

also....to add to mRx's ,,,if you use HLSW and your lazy like myself ,,just look for the players ID # and type: banclient # 999999.....I like using that 1 not so much for hackers but just for annoying\racist players and nade\rocket launcher abusers... " HLSW " ,,, gods way of making my life easier :P

Not sure what your asking Ace,,,are you saying your weapon has to much power on your server ? {btw,,thats my fav weapon :] } ...you can adjust the weapon damage on the server if thats the prob. but i'm sure you know that already.

You say this Prowler guy stole your key,,,heres a good thing to do....PM here one of the top guys your guid w\ your location \ip ect.... They have the ways of checking to see if you actually had any involvement.. Your location compared to prowlers would be a good start....If your clean and it was done by PBBans ban {not PB or EvenBalance} , your record will state the evidence needed to help....but,,If its not clean,,they will know that also :D

If the game your using already has a banned key then that game itself is only good for single play now or non-pb servers.... If infact its not your info on the actual ban then the only info I can tell you is buy a new game and try again {sealed game}....If because of the recent bad key usage it shows on YOUR record then just appeal it here at PBBans to keep your own name clean . It'll show weather or not you are the actual cheater or just someone who got shafted by a dirty sale. ;)

Theres many ways to tell if the person in question is legit {aka hacked guid} ,,,locations, ip's..ect....no one gets banned for the hell of it w\out positive proof.. A linked guid wont get you banned if the hacker is an Aussie and you live in the US ...it will just state you used a bad guid {keygen maybe? } ... "yet you keep them from this site, like you keep away hackers. " ...... everyone is innocent till proven guilty...hell, even the banned hackers still come here,,they arent banned , they just dont see the full forum...I've seen many GREAT players get keys stolen ,,,so far everyone of them have to this day a clean record....

I seen theat Fox,,thats why in my post I wrote "I'm pretty sure you know a hell of alot more then i do about these files" ...I wrote that because hes has brains like I do but he actually uses his :] I just wanted to know why the files were removed and if they were important,,thats all :D
