Thus we have no interest to make it that easy: just run a GameMP_ded.exe and apply i once learned this as "admins' basics" and i still see zero space for consideration or "discussion" here - though reading more and more - let me put it: "ban first, get proof later" - discussions, this position appears to be less and less "modern", just don't forget: if 1.000 admins (most w/h any basics, some banhappy, some just paying lamers w/ rcon ;P) try to negotiate bans this leads to nothing, and for me personally this was the point to /quit, bans proven by sure-fire evidence will be devaluated by bans based on ... guesswork

yes, for a solution your best bet is to contact a server admin, on a sidenote i had a bug recently on one of our servers where 2 removed bans kept "coming back somehow" after every server/pb restart, i had to pb_sv_unban + pb_sv_banempty + pb_sv_banload the buggers ~ 5 times before the pbbans.dat slot# were overwritten by other bans ;p

For the record: To enable PB on BetaField servers: 1. FTP to the server [ e.g. WS_FTP FileZilla ] 2. search a serversettings.con e.g. in /serverIP:serverPort/mods/bf2142/settings , edit the value of sv.punkBuster to 1 3. go to the server root e.g. /serverIP:serverPort/ and edit all *.profile files e.g. default.profile to true 4.
