  1. An outside Rcon tool like ModernRcon can accomplish that, and give the same kick-message......
  2. the code would be set_g_specatorinactivity "timeinseconds" or set_g_inactivity "timeinseconds" on most Q3-based games. Have not tried it on cod4, but it might work, if you enter it right.
  3. The server is not streaming at this time, would have to look up who's account it's attached too, they may not realize streaming stopped, or may have had their account suspended for one reason or another. A list of streaming servers can be found on the home-page under the MSI-index.
  4. Have you applied for an SGA account? Click Here
  5. Uninstall the game, delete the left-over folder, and then re-install it. In 64x Vista, it should technically install by default to the Program Files(x86) which is the 32-bit folder created for 32-bit programs and applications. Sounds to me like you recently "upgraded" to 64x without doing a clean install, and that is likely the source of your problem.
  6. Just to clarify. The yitch.cfg was created by jockyitch at bashandslash.com, a very popular COD-info site. http://bashandslash.com/index.php?option=c...9&Itemid=74 Our very own RodeoBob did a live interview with him not so many months ago, relating to the work we do here at pbbans. I've checked that config out in the past, when I still had a crappy video card, and it does work to improve fps and such. In fact, that's all it's about. Granted, many of the cvars/dvars are out of range for the way the average server admin will run his server, but there is nothing in that particular config that will get you banned.
  7. Should be solved now. :)
  8. The point, here, is not was caused it. The detection was from evenbalance.com, not a pbbans detection. We, at pbbans elevated it, a bit, to help get it resolved, but in the end, was entirely the work of evenbalance.com on that end of things, and perhaps your post should lean more into thanking them for doing so. One thing I want noted. Some of you play with various versions of XP, some play with various verions of Vista, and while I've tried and tested all of them, and found them to work, can't help you, as there's no way I can install and run all of your hardware and required drivers, nor can evenbalance predict what will cause an issue with the latest silent detections. This is the reason they need you to start a TT, should you run into any issue. Patience in the resolve is needed, as well as not needing to change drivers, change cd-keys, or format, so that they can work with the ticket and your initial problem in it's current state. Changing anything simply makes it harder all around. Patience, please, and work with them, with as much detail as possible, will give you the best results.
  9. Bottom line, of it all. Enforce bans forces all bans made on all streaming servers apply to your server. Bans detected from your server will also be applied to all those who run the same flag, effectively keeping the cheater off their servers as well. Not all bans coming in on the ban-list will be applied to your account, just the ones detected on your server, so don't bank on the ban-count for your server directly. Enforce bans flag reduces your individual server's need to process a lot of information, as it's done by the hub, thus potentially reducing lag on your server(s) and accross multiple games, at that. Best option, and there's how it works.
  10. Open your account manager, click the enforce bans flag. Quick edit : accept pbbans bans forces higher cpu use-age on your server. Enforce bans is live, and applies to all servers for your game. Accept pbbans flag is an option, but not recommended, enforce bans works better, for all.
  11. No prob on the extra help, and perhaps aiming you back to this thread, as well. Lots of good information here, and evenbalance will work with those who are willing to work with them.
  12. Last one before I crash for the night.... As you can see, a good wife is the balance to all things a man can possibly screw up.....
  13. Might have been a good design at the time, no offence meant, btw.
  14. Texans Gabriel went to the Lord and said, "I have to talk to you. We have some Texans up here who are causing problems..." "They're swinging on the Pearly Gates, my horn is missing, and they are wearing T-shirts instead of their robes; there's barbecue sauce and picante sauce all over everything, especially their T-shirts; their dogs are riding in the chariots and chasing the sheep; they are wearing baseball caps and cowboy hats instead of their halos. They refuse to keep the stairway to Heaven clean, and their boots are marking and scuffing up the halls of Wisdom." "There are watermelon seeds and tortilla chip crumbs all over the place. Some of them are walking around with just one wing; and they insist on bringing their horses with them." The Lord said, "Texans are Texans, Gabriel. Heaven is home to all of my children. If you want to know about real problems, call the Devil." So Gabriel calls the Devil who answers the phone and says, "Hello---hold on a minute." When he returns to the phone the Devil says, "O.K., I'm back. What can I do for you?" Gabriel replied, "I just want to know what kinds of problems you are having down there with the Texans." The Devil said, "Hold on again. I need to check on something." After about 5 minutes the Devil returned to the phone and said. "I'm back. Now what was the question?" Gabriel said, "What kind of problems are you having down there with the Texans?" The Devil said, "Oh man, I don't believe this...hold on." This time the Devil was gone 15 minutes and when he returned he said, "I'm sorry Gabriel, I can't talk right now. These damn Texans have put out the fire and now they're installing air conditioning!"
  15. The setting for that is to quit playing rpg's or mmorpgs ;) :P Sorry, I couldn't resist. Pretty much every "stoner" I've ever known plays them, is addicted to them, and thinks they're god's gift to gaming. Meanwhile, the rest of us want to just shoot something and grab some adrenaline as a high. My only other alternative for the adren is cranking up the bike on a nice curvy road and listening to the sweet sound of a tuned pipe at 13000 rpm while dragging a knee in the corners.
  16. http://www.pbbans.com/forums/PBBans-Pinned...-Up-t53665.html Perhaps some reading needs to be done. Pay attention to stickies in each forum section, read, learn, self-educate. There are PBBans detections, and there are EvenBalance detections at work here. The exact science behind them is private information, how-ever. If both parties made that information available, publically, we'd simply be giving the cheaters an edge to make a better, undetected cheat that much easier. They create new ones on a daily basis as it is, why give them the inside information?
  17. You might find that installing everything again, and buying a new game finds you at the same point. TT's can take up to 24 hrs for one response, per customer. Bear in mind, EvenBalance staff have their hands full with TT's and this is the very reason you may not get an instant response. Patience, and politeness will get you further than simply demanding and stamping your feet. There's lots of information within this very thread that can help you, if you're willing to work with the situation. A point that is also needing to be made here. There are a number of people with the same issue, but all of you run various different hardware, software, operating systems, etc, and an in-depth investigation is needed, and the time to do so. You have two choices. Be a part of the solution, or simply, a part of the problem. Being a part of the solution will be helpful to the gaming community at large. The latter isn't even going to help you, let alone anyone else.
  18. Have any of you gone directly to the evenbalance.com website and manually downloaded the latest version pbsetup.exe ? I recently switched from Vista 32x to Vista 64x and ran XP home prior to this, with no such issues. ET runs perfectly for me on Vista 64x, as does COD4 and ETQW. I run AVAST for an a/v program. Also, in Vista, either right-click the program icon and select properties, and check the option to run as administrator, or simply right-click the icon and select it each time. Just some possible options.
  19. Typing in the "how you fixed it" would be beneficial. Just making a generic post with no useful information to others is rather pointless.
  20. Try right-clicking your game's icon, and run the game as administrator.
  21. gamerservers.com IP on last post.
  22. Trouble Tickets with evenbalance.com are not just for cheaters, but also for people who have problems with the punkbuster software. Open a ticket, and include as much information as you can. Include things like operating system, drivers installed, hardware installed, software running in the back-ground, anti-virus, you name it, list it. More detail, rather than less. Also, ask the question, Is this a valid detection?
  23. Harsh accusations to make, same time, nothing to do with pbbans. Closing this before it gets out of hand.
  24. Personally, I play all games with no script....other than what can be altered via in-game options. When I run into a script-kiddie, I have a chuckle, more often than not. If they're that much better because they can bind a key to fit a smaller hand or can hit it quicker because they can't figure out wasd to well, so be it.
  25. But binds are cool...... Never found hitting R to be hard to reload, yet some need a reload bind as well, along with a switch-weapons bind, since hitting the number keys are hard to reach, along with switching weapons when one is empty...and so on.
