  1. Will get someone in accounts on this asap, but please be patient. Not all are around 24/7, might take a couple of hours for someone in accounts to get this dealt with. A solution is pending, but it will happen, and thanks for the updated information, as it will make the process quicker, and easier to get sorted. :)
  2. His forum name? You still need a forum-account, and once that is sorted, he can add you to his streaming game admin section.
  3. Curious.....why?
  4. There's a reason I don't buy used games. It might also drive home a point, too, ladies and gentlemen, that if you sell your used games, someone might use them to cheat, so be careful who you sell them too. If the GUID is associated to you in any way, it could see you on the MBi.
  5. Not listed on the master-list is another issue. Most of the time, simply shutting the server down for 10-20 minutes, and then reboot, will get it listed on the master-list. Has nothing to do with it being cracked, btw. http://www.anarchic-x.com/cod4master/audit.php The link posted is a useful tool in finding out what you need to fix to get your server listed properly. ;)
  6. Another thing you can do, is as follows. Click on ctrl+alt+del once, then choose start task manager. Click on the Services tab at the top, find PnkBstrA.exe and make sure it is set to Automatic in it's properties. Do not close the task manager, but start the game, connect to a pb-enabled server, and then minimize it with alt+tab, refresh the list of services, and find PnkBstrB.exe, right click it, and also set it to Automatic. If you're running Vista, you could also try right-click and run as administrator when clicking on the game-icon to start the game, rather than just double-clicking on it.
  7. What you actually installed was DX9L, to allow backward compatibility from DX10 in Vista. ;) It's not a down-grade, it's inclusive, you still have DX10 installed.
  8. Some players run into this problem. First step, download the pbsetup.exe file from evenbalance, create a folder on your desktop named pb in lower-case, put the pbsetup.exe into it, and run it, targetting your game's install folder. Allow it to update all pb files. If this does not solve your problem, go into your game's install folder, right-click and rename your pb folder to pb_old, then create a new folder named pb in lower-case, slide the pbsetup.exe file into it, and let it create all new pb files from scratch. Try running the game then. Keep us posted as to which was the solution.
  9. The beta was not released to Germany due to some legal issues with your country's laws and gaming content. They announced that on the same forums you registered on to get the key, just as an fyi, and appologized for it.
  10. Some interesting aspects to the game. My own thoughts, it felt a bit like moving through mud, when trying to run/walk around. An obvious indication that fps is perhaps a bit low. Also noted that I could not get the drawfps command to work. :( Hitboxes are a bit wonky to say the least. Dogs are more for show, although I grabbed a server config that has settings for them, so playing around with those a bit may make them a bit more entertaining, as well as tweaking a few other settings within that config. For now I've basically mirrored my COD4 server with the settings that are similiar/shared. There are some new ones that I have not played with, as yet. I still want to play it a bit more before committing to running a server on release-day, as well as buying the game, although I'll likely grab it just 'cuz.
  11. Cod:WaW It's not bad for a beta. The one thing I find, as usual, is that players expect a beta to play like a released version. Beta's are there to work out bugs. Might even have to push the release date back a bit to fix some of them. ;) Thus the point. As for playability, it's acceptable. IMO it needs to have higher fps, tends to feel a bit like you're moving through "mud". Hitboxes are a bit quirky, but can be adjusted for. Graphically, nothing spectacular, to be sure, but only seen three maps thus far, and haven't ranked up to get to many of the cool weapons as yet. Beta is limited to lvl 40 anyways. Attack dogs, perhaps not all that brilliant of a perk. I found just keeping one finger near the V-key did them in well enough. Can set time-limits and damage limits on them, though, so maybe upping the damage, server-side, will make that a bit more effective. There's my basic review in a nutshell. I'll play it more tomorrow and see what else I can find that might be note-worthy. COD7? Will look at it when it's ready to be released, at least as a beta. Till then, who cares?
  12. http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=dl-bf2.php Manually download all the required server files, upload them to the appropriate folders on your server, and pay close attention to the ones that are OS specific. Once that's done, either issue a pb_sv_restart command, or reboot your server.
  13. Fresh install of Vista, and a newer 9800GTX+ SC card, same result. Not limited to the 8-series, btw. I always install the latest drivers, rather than what came on the CD with the card after a format. CD's with vid-cards are a waste of space in the box they come in, imo. Usually out-dated before it ships, let alone when you buy it.
  14. That GUID will no be removed from the MBi, so your only option is a new game.
  15. I think the more important question here is, why isn't your server streaming? A 0 minute kick for a multihack would end up being a permanent ban and the player placed on the MBI, which would in-turn also see his streaming privelages removed. Account Application Automated webtool for streaming setup
  16. Are you a MyIS customer perhaps? They do send e-mails, but often, they end up in your spam-box or junk folder. I still get the e-mails from them, and I haven't been a customer for nearly 6 months.
  17. What Ice was asking, was if you knew the person with the other account?
  18. First off, tone it down a bit. A lot of players go through this, and it's usually related to your personal internet connection. Not something we can control for you. You can try and manually update punkbuster by running the PBSetup tool as your computer might be having a tough time gaining the updates from the server you're connecting too.
  19. We reserve the right to dis-allow streaming to any clan/applicant we deem fit, did you read the ToS? It can be found here. http://www.pbbans.com/tos.php
  20. Only evenbalance can answer that question, as it is their kick. If you keep experiencing it, you can open a Trouble Ticket with them to see what might be causing it. When openning a trouble ticket, please include as much info as possible, including the full kick-violation, computer specs, operating system, driver revisions, hardware installed, and any programs you're running at the time of the violation.
  21. That just means I should stick to COD4 and ET. ;) Gametracker supports it, though, and seems to pick up most servers.
  22. I've been running Vista for a while now, and personally, I like it. People said XP sucks too, when it first came out, just as they did for Win2K and Win98. Now, if you said WinME sucked, we'd all have to agree with you. ;)
  23. I plugged that IP into HLSW just now, and it shows the server as being down, gametracker also doesn't have any listing for it. Is that the right IP and port?
  24. If you're using onboard sound, check to see if it's a RealTek chip by openning your device manager. If so, and bizarre as this may sound, simply plug something into the microphone jack. Even a pair of headphones, if you don't have a mic or headphones/mic combo will work. Some bug within the RealTek drivers causes this issue, and that fix has worked for a fair number of people already.
  25. pb_sv_cvar "com_maxfps" IN 43 150 would lock fps to a minimum of 43 and a maximum of 150.
