  1. Unfortunately, this is the same problem that resides in COD4. Teambalance only seems to work properly with TDM as far as I know.
  2. Log into your original account. Your name will be green, if you're logged into the correct one, and you should then be able to access your AccCP.
  3. Bottom line of this, is that the server IP can be found in the MPi. Thus it denotes you're using a home-server. FYI, a 100mbit connection might work ok for hosting servers for ppl within a close-distance of you, but it won't do for any substantial distance, etc. You likely also do not have any backbone providers linked in with that. I can personally rent a 100mbit connection where I live, too, but the larger bulk of my own clan would ping horribly to it, regardless of the speed. When you decide to host your servers at a known data-center that offers co-location, or rent dedicated servers from a known GSP, you may re-apply.
  4. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=l2oPio60mK4 Enjoy! ;)
  5. What operating system are you running? If Vista, use right-click on icon, and select "run as administrator" from the drop-down menu.
  6. I'll add my good-tidings to you all. May you travel safely, if visiting family, may your family be well, and happy, may you all get what you wished for, and may you all have enough to satisfy the heart. May you all have a little extra patience, for those around you, and may you all have a smile, for that person you may bump into, who has a frown. God Bless, and be with all of you. Merry Christmas!
  7. Glad to have ya streaming again. :)
  8. The irc link, is a java-applet, so if you have java installed, you'll be able to chat in real-time on our irc channel for help, and ask away to get you streaming. It's a chat-link, not a place to put in server info. ;) On the homepage. http://www.pbbans.com/webtool.php or Automated Hub Setup link on the left-side, in-case the above link doesn't work correctly. You'll need your server, your server port, and your rcon pass, no personal info, including rcon pass is saved here at pbbans, fyi, to work the tool, it's fairly simple. You will need to choose your game from the drop-down-list at the top, to make this function properly.
  9. Server is not streaming at this time. Best source for help is the IRC channel, click the IRC link at the top of this page, or head for the homepage, and click on the online tool link, and input your server info and run the tool to get it streaming.
  10. Might just need to wait for one of the accounts ppl to approve your new server, and for your account to be updated as a result. A little patience please, and post the IP of the new server, if you could.
  11. The quality issue comes with readable text, in ss_rate 1 vs unreadable text in ss_rate 2, without the use of something like orangepeelchecker or another known ss blow-up program. Many of the queries are based on the text alone, as ppl do not know what it is, and if they were using ss_rate 1, would know what it is because they could actually see it. It is up to the server admin as to what settings he wants, though, nothing is forced on you as individual clans/groups.
  12. Just as long as IW is developing it, and uses an actual PC-based engine, I'll give it a go. After WaW, I won't touch anything with Treyarch's name on it, COD-series or otherwise.
  13. Try turning off Steam and Xfire, unless your version requires Steam to be running, also try stock-clocks on the card and eliminate riva-tuner. Then, add them back, one at a time, and see which one, if any, causes the kick. I'll put a dollar on riva-tuner, since it's a driver-related kick, and riva-tuner messes with the video card drivers and a few other things to create the oc-ability. Xfire has also been known to interfere with some games. Steam? I only have an opinion of it, and that's best left to it's own vices, it does apparently work pretty well for some people. I've just got no personal love for it. Can't say as I've heard of to many issues with pb and it, in particular, though.
  14. Unfortunately, no. COD4 doesn't include the badword list filter option like some previous Quake-engine games did. One thought, though, is to perhaps send in a ticket to your gameserver host and see if they can help you set it up. It might be a simple permissions issue on their end, and once changed, would allow the program to run for you.
  15. Morkeye is a COD2 and 4 racism and language tool that can be set up to monitor your server for you. I've personally not had much luck getting it to work, but others here use it and speak quite highly of it.
  16. Several staff go thru the same issue, with black SS for other games. Yours, personally with Crysis, as I don't play or own the game, can't help much more. I wished I could, but won't buy or support a broken game, past COD5, this year, and it has it's own issues. I'll support what I know, and I do know that the black SS issue relates to all games, not just Crysis, so your head-admin, or clan-admin, perhaps need to re-think things a bit, and work with educating themselves. This issue won't go away because one person can, and one person can't get clean ss, it will go away when both sides of the dev work together, namely the game developer, and the anti-cheat developer, in integrating things properly. In your case, it's the game-dev that is the major issue, added to the fact there are several flavors of Vista, and XP still in the mix, and that's not helping, on the latter part of things.
  17. It is also possible that this is simply a bug in the game. There are several pb-related bugs with Crysis games that have yet to be fixed, and unfortunately, are a Crytek issue and the need for full and proper pb-integration, rather than an actual pb problem itself.
  18. This can be related to driver revisions, Nvidia video cards tend to take the larger-hit, here, btw. Running with anti-aliasing on, as well as a few of the other eye-candy settings can cause this issue. This is not a cheat-related offence in any sense of the manner, just a bug. It can be duplicated very easily. Vista in either 32-bit or 64-bit flavour can cause this. Sometimes also seen with users who run XP as well. I would recommend you at least update chipset and video card drivers, and try turning off AA as a test. I tend to return black ss all the time too. Q6600, Nvidia 9800GTX+ SC+, 4GB 800Mhz OCZ Reaper RAM, Audigy Xtreme Gamer Infinity sound, and the list goes on.... It's not a sign of cheating. It is a local-issue, with your clan, and in this case, up to them.
  19. Should be fine the way it is. It is an optional setting, if you personally feel having it at 1 is better for you and your server, or for that matter, choose 0 for no. That is entirely up to the server-admin.
  20. i doubt the toggle aimbot has been around "for a long time" considering the game won't even be a month old for 3 more days. ;) A month isn't long, unless you live your life in dog years. Treyarch will likely fix a number of issues with the next major patch, and as for anti-cheat, it's all about the reaction time. A cheat has to come out first, before it can be detected. It never works to put the cart before the horse, nor can any anti-cheat group private or public foree the future. There will always be something new that goes undetected for a brief period, but they are all eventually caught. ;)
  21. No, it cannot be done via servermessages. No such function with the server message options per-server. You could create a message, or several, that explain who the admin is, or who the admin(s) are, by including another task message stating the fact, on your server.
  22. http://www.tomsguide.com/us/dell-xps-720-h...review-953.html Factory oc'd, although it allows for some tweaking. 8800-series cards use 65nm tech, and thus run hotter. ET also doesn't support SLi, so you're only using one card in this system, for this game. Many of the factory-tweaks could be interfering as well.... TBH, I've always avoided Dell systems. One of the more common phrases you find on OC-related forums is "Dude, you CAN'T over-clock your Dell!" Which may still hold true, even for this machine, as they've never really laid into the market of being a "performance computer" until recently, and they're still very proprietary, from my understanding of those I know who own them currently.
  23. Yes, these are dedicated methods for getting pb up to date via the manual method. AFIK, a dedi-box isn't a lot different than a shared box, in that the files are perhaps shared, depending on host, but the IP's are seperate.
  24. I had no trouble getting into it. It would seem UK-related IP's might be your issue. Who is your host? Or is this hosted off a local computer in your home? Might just be a router-issue with allowing certain IP-ranges to connect, if it is local. Go-daddy.com is relatively cheap, and easy to transfer a domain to.
  25. You need SGA access to properly submit pbss unedited from your server, along with the server connection logs. Secondly, no /record function exists in this game, as yet. Xfire, FRAPS or other out-side source videos that can't be verified with streamed evidence will not be accepted as proof of anything, as they can be edited and manipulated. This is not because the person may not be cheating, but because of our strict ToS, and the need to verify 100% that all bans placed on a guid are verified with streamed evidence, rather than just someone's say so. You either need to be added to your team/clan's SGA list, or need to be the main admin of your team/clan. See pbbans homepage for details on how to become a streaming member. :)
