I would go as far as to say he broke the terms so shouldn't get any refund due to his own actions. Think about the potential damages to your reputation and server/s that he may have caused. I am a bit late posting but thats my opinion, the worst that can happen is you are forced to pay him his money back so why back down so easily? Was there an outcome?

The answer I believe will be once a guid is compromised it cannot be unbanned due to the risk of the same account being used again for hacking and still in the hands of said hacker. I also believe it would be too risky for evenbalance and its integrity. By all means wait for staff to answer but I believe your idea will not be implemented.

I wouldn't know where it comes from but if EB keeps the bans without announcing false positives on that violation code then it will definitely be more than a macro. EB have been going for long enough to know what's good and whats bad. Sounds like its definitely causing a stir!

Made a big mistake buying mw3 and I barely even played it, the game felt sluggish compared to mw1 and 2 but the lack of dedi servers have stopped me from getting any further games and I have absolutely no regrets. Feels nice to say up yours for not listening to a section of their followers. Ignore us, I ignore you. Go ahead make money, it doesnt come from me anymore :P \o/

I have never used the program however knowing what I know now I would never use it. I think its playing with fire and its just not worth it, its not worth taking the risk.

Yes its a standard response and could still be changed depending on what EB will announce in the coming days to this violation.

Definitely worth holding on to those screenshots just in case! That's what I will be doing from now on!

I didnt realise screenshots that were taken during lite streaming can still be submitted if the account concerned upgrades to full streaming. Cool :-)

Oh great what a great way to solve the badmin issue. Im feeling negative about this now, am I going to be wasting my money with empty servers again? Whats the point in having a server and losing half the control to get it full whilst paying quite a sum of money a month for the privilege or lack of. They will always give people headaches. If this doesn't work I think im gonna give up renting servers I've just about had it.

But if the cheat wasn't triggered on his computer then it wouldn't be the source of the new ban? Perhaps its because its not a new origin account and email address.?

I live in the UK so Slightly longer for me cause its out on November 1st. Although there is a possibility of having the servers online 24 to 48 hours before release.

I hated the fact that even black ops 2 didn't have dedicated servers so I didn't buy it. I made a big mistake in buying mw3 and I bearly played it. There's no way I'm buying this one either without dedi servers. I looked forward in Black ops 2 to rent a server for s&d but wasn't to be.

Yes I forgot about the fact you get attacked yourself and probably killed whilst trying to see the name in the first place to add. Was so tricky! Our clan leader was favouring not having the rule at all. The only issue I had with that was if a side was getting owned in their base the majority would rage quit and sometimes it could imbalance the game so much that the server would die. When it got bad I did on occasions move the round on declaring those who were spawn killing as victors. I could see they were not going to get out of their situation and it saved the server from dying. Oh I forgot, trying to find the spawnkiller in the events list of procon was also fun and time consuming. Most of the time when I finally found it more spawnkilling had been done! I did have one plugin tweaked as best I could and that was anti spawnkilling but it didn't work that well and punished only occasionally but lose enough to not punish for those killing just spawned players on squad members for example. I like your disclaimer its a good idea. I can see an arguement there by players, why you punish me when there were others doing the same. One rule for one and all that jazz :D but at least you can state your disclaimer.

I went with Fragnet which for me in the UK was the cheapest. You could get 15% off at gameservers if you tweeted and followed them but on a monthly basis the 20% discount for the life of the server on pre-order beat them. OK you could get 30% total off with gameservers but I would have had to pay for a year as well. So better not locked in and paying for a server on a month to month basis. Fragnets price was reasonable without the discount. Edit: I was banking on Hypernia to be the cheapest but they shocked me and were the most expensive and yes I did see the prices for the exotic places and I thought it was disgraceful. They dropped to one of the bottom for my least favourite for that :P

I can even see my name as the last poster in the SGA forum which now says protected forum arrgghh :) I don't know how many years non stop I haven't streamed a server for, this is the first time for so long! Just didn't see the point in paying the money for a bf3 server for half a month when the money could go towards bf4 servers. If however I was very short on money I would at least stream a small server to keep my permissions :) Edit: It even just says just member on my profile, booo!! Not for long though thankfully \o/

I may be a little late in replying to this thread but I found it very difficult as an admin to enforce no baseraping rule. The problems I faced were, not being able to be in the right place to see it, if I did see it what was the name of the rule breaking player. Would I believe a player crying baserape when I didn't see it happen. If I monitored 1 base I couldn't monitor the other. To see the players name ingame is also hard to see, struggling to get the name up let alone read it. It would become chaos and difficult to keep up with. I ended up losely keeping the rule but wasn't bothered if I enforced it or not. In bc2 and bf2 for that matter death coordinates were given to admins meaning baseraping rules could be automatically enforced and admins could customise punishment levels. I've always wanted this for bf3 but unfortunately death coordinates have never been given to us. It is a shame cause it would solve this difficulty, it would be accurate and fool proof like it was in bc2. However there is one complication, to get a plugin that would punish for those shooting out of the base and to solve the problem where players would complain that they were punished for baseraping when getting shot at from the base was a difficult one to address. Unlike bf2 there is no knowledge of the position of a player by the admin tool so automated anti camping plugins were not possible. In some respects its better to not have the rule at all. However it is your server so getting it wrong occasionally wouldn't do any harm after all we are only human. One last thing the best way is to warn players first that way they get a fair chance of understanding a rule they may have missed. Then kick so they get a feel for the rule break, if they still don't follow the rules then down with the ban hammer. I think its the fairest way and all admins should employ this.

Is the screenshot that you posted meant to be the real screenshot? If so it is not an original and it has not been saved as an original therefore it could have been tampered with plus it will never be passed up as a valid screenshot. However your squad member has no health bar so in my eyes it cannot be a cheat screenshot. Who sent you this screenie as evidence? Edit: Ask for the original and if you get it then post it here. It's the only way a screenshot would ever really properly be reviewed.
