Hi, Was having problems with my current server and changed to a new machine. I have a new I,P now and tried to add the new server to my account but all I get is a message that the server is already streaming and I cant add it.
Can a Admin add this to my account for me, Ok thanks,

We play on Euro Domination and they recently banned a player from our roster for this

Yet it appears not to be a permanent ban as he is still able to play.

So what is happening?
Is he permanently banned?
Is it a ban error that is why no permanent ban?
So what do people think. As he can still play with that GUID on servers and PBBans streaming servers.
I just don't understand it.
The only way a bannable violation can be confirmed as valid, is if we are in receipt of the streamed log information.
It appears that the server the player was detected on, only streamed to psb
that means that only psb are in receipt of the streamed log information.That in turn means, that the player is only banned off psb streamed servers (if the server admin runs psb's ambl)
We do have a feature here at PBBans that enforces external banlist's with a 30 minute kick and a directive to visit the anti cheat site that holds the streamed log information pertaining to the issued ban, psb have elected to block PBBans from using their 30 day old banlist that we need to enforce that feature, so are not a participating anti cheat site (the only one I might add)
Any queries re the issued ban should be directed to psb.
If you can convince them to allow us to use their 30 day old banlist while your there so much the better :)

Seeing as those professional anti cheat experts over at psb consider PBBans to be an anti cheat site run by amateurs, I would not hold my breath re any active co-operation re banlists :blink:

The correct server address is 75.102.47.9:17567
The server is added to you team account, and last streamed 2 days, 1 hour, 52 mins ago.
All none streaming issues are client side.
Once you get the streaming initiation commands correct, streaming will kick in instantly.

looking for site support, such as I lost my password, and no longer use that email that is associated with it. seeing as it was 100 a year and this is a recession. anyway I Had to make a new login to post here but would really like my old login back. who do i contact?
I have made the following changes;
1. Changed the e-mail on your team account to the one you are currently using.
2. Changed your login password on your forum account.
3. Sent a mail with your username and password for your forum account.
4. Deactivated your duplicate forum account (silverpathic)
You can change the forum account password to one of your choice in the normal fashion once you are logged in.
I have also set your team account to "active".(no servers added to it yet)

If the server address in your post is a copy / paste job, you have used ; instead of : :scratchchin:
So the correct server address is 8.9.11.73:28960
You can add servers to your team account via account manager.
There is a tutorial re MD5's and cvars etc here;

There is a known bug with RTCW, its been known about for ages.
The Bug:
When installing RTCW for the first time you enter the cd key off your game jewel case when prompted.
So far, so good.
When you patch the game / enable punkbuster, the cd key magically changes to a key that is completely different.
This in turn generates a pbguid of 6068d9f9a4e1adfe304e45b8783be7d5, which shows as having tons of aliases / IP's / and players from all over the world, mostly victims of the same "game bug"
The solution:
Once you have installed / patched the game.
Go to the options menu and check the entered cd key, I guarantee that it reveals a different cd key than the one you entered off your game jewel case.
Simply change the cd key shown, to the correct one, and you should be good to go.

Our policy is to give cheaters, past and present, absolutely nothing, and that extends to full forum access.
The mere fact that your posting here, means that your forum account has been validated manually by a staff member and cleared as a standard member forum account.
If you had cheated in the past, you would have been moved to the restricted forum user group.
As far as PBBans is concerned, based on the PBBans MPI information we have at our disposal, you're a clean player.

Sorry, no screenshots, no record demos, free camera is not how to deal with cheaters?
Bad that DICE leave this problem without a solution, at the moment.
The situation re pbss / ingame demo recording for BFBC2 is far from ideal, that much we can all agree on :)
The best thing to do is place a modicum of trust in PB software and the PBBans MD5 checks for this particular game.
I have never known Evenbalance to be as proactive as they are for BFBC2, when compared to any PB enabled game that has gone before it.
That alone is a huge plus for me, and I hope its a sign of things to come for all future releases.
I would also hope that DICE / EB have not "given up the ghost" as it were and come up with a positive solution to the pbss / ingame demo issues.

Nothing leached because nothing has gotten in. I'm VERY careful at what sites i go to and what i download. And i do computer programming so i know damn well i have not had a virus. I use norton, which no matter what people talk bad about it, it's a good program for those who know how to use it. Not to mention i have 3 others installed and all are running.
I do not have the reinstall disc so i am not going through all that. Like hell i am spending another $40 on this game, because PBBans wants to claim it's in the wild when i admitted to using all the alias on there, and i doubt someone else in the world has used the same names. I have been having isp problems due to some rain and things, but i do not know how come different ip's are showing up. But all the names he show me on that list are mine. So whatever, pbbans wants to be arses about it, i can be one right back at them. Like i said, i know for a fact that code isn't leaked.

But heres some advice, get the damn program your using checked over. Because i am using a single dsl box, i live in florida for fk sakes and i bought a legit came from walmart, and it shows up as leaked, it sounds more like your system is buggy, or your to damn lazy to stream pbbans for people.I decided to check out our "buggy system" because you were so adamant that your cd key had not been compromised.
I downloaded the streamed logs from the server that the pbguid was first seen on (March 10 2009)
Lo and behold, a simple search of the streamed log from that exact date reveals;

There are numerous entries in the logfile from that server, untill he left a few hours later;

Seeing as you admit to all the aliases on the MPI, I am just wondering how this player from the Netherlands used your exact pbguid and an alias that you say was used by you, a fair old time before an IP from the USA was seen using the same pbguid.

Then you add the servers to your team account using the proper game port in your case it is;

Anyways, because you had already run the streaming initiation commands via the automated setup, your 2 servers are now streaming;

You use the query port to initiate streaming.
You add the servers to your team account using the correct game port.
The 2 servers added by you to your team account still contain the query port:
202.60.82.51:48890
202.60.82.53:48889
The proper server address of both servers;
202.60.82.51:19569
202.60.82.53:19568
Solution:
Completely delete the 2 servers you have added to your team account, via account manager.
Then add the 2 servers, using the correct server address, to your team account, again, via account manager.
It should be noted that the servers, once added, will have to be ok'd by a staff member before they will show as streaming.
Current average wait time is 2 - 20 minutes :)

The correct server address (from Game Monitor) is 193.93.45.57:16567
Solution:
Completely remove the server from yom your team account, via account manager.
Then add the correct server address, again, via account manager.

hey all i was wondering if anyone can apply for full stream to check on players. I have quite the ban record of catching them back in the day but with full PB it would be so much easier. Can this be done and what would need to be done im a loan wolf.
Our services are only available to server admins who elect to stream their servers via PBBans.

Hi i havent played bf2 for a while and have been catching up with playing buddies.
I have just found out that i have been banned by pbbans. How do i go about sorting this out as i dont play at the moment but would like to see how idd go about fixing this problem i have. Here is my stats page to verify that i havent played for 7 months.

First off, all bans are issued via the players pbguid only.
The alias / ip etc is just incremental information.
So to answer your question we will need the last 8 digits of your banned pbguid.

Hi, I'm guessing you are looking at the old site; that is no longer supported and the people that supported it are no longer part of the clan.. I tried to get in touch on IRC but had some difficulty. The identified owner is no longer involved with HSF and I would like to reset the details.
The new website is http://hsf.game-host.org/news.php which I believe meets the requirements. We have delayed our application to ensure that our activity/intent is clear.

Now we are in receipt of all current information re your clan, I have done the following;
1. Changed the website to reflect the current and updated clan website.
2. Added you to the team account.
3. Set you as the master user of the team account, and deleted the inactive guy.
4. Changed the mail address for the team account to yours.
5. Sent you a forum PM with all the team account details.
All that is required from you is to add a server that is configured to stream to pbbans.com

Just a heads up :)
The website of the existing {HSF} team account does not meet our mandatory requirements, its completely locked down.
The mandatory streaming requirements listed here;
http://www.pbbans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=82423 are for us to validate a team account application and must be kept up to date for the continued use of PBBans services.
If it was not locked down and had the team roster showing as it should be, it would have been a simple task for us to check the activity/clan status of the current team account master user :P and in turn would have prompted a quick fix one way or the other.

The correct procedure for this type of scenario is;
Step 1. Completely remove the old server from your team account via account manager.
Step 2. Add the new server to your team account again via acount manager.
(It is presumed that you have already ran the Hub streaming initiation commands before adding your new server.)
Looking at your team account I see both the old server IP, and the new server IP.
Niether are streaming.
All none streaming issues are client side, and seeing how the new server is already added to your team account, streaming will kick in instantly once you get the initiation commands correct.
Just select the best method for you from here;
