@aman or anyone else,

How do you get rid of the "blue tint"?

Thanks!

Wow that looks much better, i might have to give this thing another try.

I posted it on the last page.

Are you using version 5?

Using the bf3 settings editor (which will likely get you kicked or banned because it edits game files) produces

Without the cold color tint BF3 just looks like every other modern shooter. Love it or hate it, it stands out and I think it looks great.

Yes, I believe I am.

Maydax, was that that tool that got released earlier in the week and created an almighty uproar on BLog?

So, I am gathering there isn't anything we can use to remove the blue tint that won't run us the risk of getting kicked or banned?

That video looked great maydax. Such a shame they ruined it with that tint crap.

I'd leave the suppression on though if possible, its a valid and legitimate tactic to suppress someone.

I mean this tool is on the order of removing fog of war in BF2, there are plenty of BF2 banned PBSS for that. I wouldn't use it. Editing game files to gain an advantage against your fellow BF3 player is a no no.

And that's just on the visual side of things, the added ability to modify damage is crazy. We need a detection for this.

I just download v5 from that link you posted. Started up origin clicked play on bf3 and it crashes the game before battlelog even loaded.

Hmm dunno why, it's working fine for me and I've just double checked that it is the V5 I'm running.

This is how my BF3 folder looks like in Origin

@Demize99 @zh1nt0 @gustavhalling Hello DICE bros@ :D Care to look at this beautiful colorgrade comparison? http://youtu.be/WJU-JKFPsTo

@Minusthebeats @Demize99 @zh1nt0 to colorful. Also I wouldn't use those hacks if you don't want a perm ban on your account. FYI warning.

I think the only map that doesn't lend itself to the colour correction is probably Sharqi due to the lack of direct sun and it's location. It looks odd. Karkand, Wake and Oman, definitely look a millions times better. But BF3 wasn't built for it's colours or gameplay on the FB2 engine. It's purely an art/selling point game hence the washed colours, because as screenshots they do look very arty and very nice. Great way to sell the engine.
