A local ban is a ban that the server's admin applies on you. It's a ban from only that one server. The opposite would be a global ban, directly from EvenBalance, the makers of PunkBuster. Those ban your key from all servers. And somewhere in the middle, there would be bans from the Anti-Cheat communities like for example us(PBBans), GGC or PunksBusted. Are you sure you wrote down the GUID correctly? If not, it hasn't been used to play on servers that stream to PBBans nor those that stream to GGC. The ban in that case would most likely be from the server's admin. What nick do you use in cod4?

Open the console fully by pressing Shift+~(tilde), it should then display a 32-character GUID. We need the last 8 characters from it :)

What's your GUID? You can get it by doing a pb_myguid in the console while in-game. We only need the last 8 characters.

From what I remember, it has caused Disallowed Program/Driver kicks in the past as well. :/ You could try updating it to the latest version (if you haven't already). If that doesn't work, try turning it off for a while to see if you can play without (better hope the GPU doesn't overheat though xD). If you're only using the tool to control the fans, you could try RivaTuner or Nvidia's System Tools (addon for their control panel) as alternatives. Personally, I use the 2nd one. ^^ ~ /*Pisi*/

Um zu streamen, musst du dich erst für einen team account bewerben. ;) Das macht man hier: http://www.pbbans.com/account_application.php Damit deine bewerbung auch angenommen wird, muss dein team mehrere forderungen erfüllen. Die forderungen stehen hier auf englisch: http://www.pbbans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=82214 Wenn du kein englisch kannst... ^^ Die wichtigsen punkte sind: 1) dass dein server bei einem datencenter gehostet sein muss (nicht zuhause) 2) dass du beim bewerben (für das team account) eine nicht-kostenlose e-mail benutzt (z.b. eine von deiner arbeit, schule oder von deinem internetprovider ; keine gmail yahoo gmx e-mails) 3) die webseite von deinem team (dein team muss eine webseite haben um zu streamen) muss ein forum mit wenigstens ein paar öffentliche (für gäste lesbare) subforen haben und ein roster/eine mitgliederliste. Der roster darf auch im forum als post stehen. Und die webseite darf auch nur ein forum sein mit roster in irgendeinem für gäste sichtbarem post. Doesn't really require a restart even though it'd have the same effect. The bans that were loaded from the file before are still in the server's memory. If you want to clear those out, run a pb_sv_BanEmpty command through rcon and you'll be done. ^^ ~ /*Pisi*/
