The pbguid does not appear to be globally banned, make sure you have the correct cd key entered into the game.

The player that raised the bannable violation is from the U.S.A. on OCtober 15 2008.

All reputable anti cheat sites ban by pbguid, which is a 32 digit hexadecimal hash of the game cd key.
If this particular pbguid was removed from our banlist, it would leave the cheater free to carry on using that same cd key.
The same pbguid is also banned over at AON.
Solution:
Buy a new game cd, do not tell your cousin what it is and move on.

Well thats good news! Do you know why it would be blacklisted when I try to get it streaming?
If you had made your own topic and asked that question right at the start, it would have saved a heck of a lot of time.
There is a world of difference between a server running with "cracked" binaries and a server that has been placed on the PBBans blacklist for one reason or another.
If a server has been placed on the PBBans blacklist by a member of staff, a note has to be added explaining why.
The note added to 8.12.22.228:28960 is;
TA 3862 attempted to add. Server belongs to different clanI have taken a look at account #3862 and it leads me to -EcS- clan.
It is currently streaming 2 servers, one is -EcS- the other is =FS=
We do not allow clans to stream other clans servers, so I will be sending a query to the team account master of #3862 to clarify the situation.
There are also a few other issues that need to be cleared up (member list is not working / server list not working on the website)
Once this particular issue is cleared up I will be closing this topic and pruning it, so that any queries re cracked servers will be topics made in their own right.

Apart from the derogatory remarks/insults that normally appear on clan forums when issues like this arise.
The clan admins have made 2 statements that are perfectly clear that you will not be allowed back on their server;
Dispute all you want, we pay for the server, and we made the decision to ban you. As a whole.If you don't like this decision, i'll be blunt, live with it. I think its quite evident that JohnDoe will not be unbanned from the server, and even if it comes back that he's clean, its pretty unlikely.Solution:
Find another server to play on and move on

i was a admin on FPSoverload COD4 community, and banned for hacking when i was not.

It seems your beef is with the admins that banned you .. in other words a locally applied ban that we have no input on.

Keygenerators do not produce legit cd keys.
There is probably some insane odds that a keygen might do so once in a blue moon but it would be a very rare occurence.
The main reson that a keygen works in cod4 for so many is because COD4 forces the pb_sv_guidrelax setting to 7 on each map_rotate or server restart,
The only way to 'fix' it, is with a PB task that constantly reassigns it to 0.
Its been an issue since cod4 was released and its about time the game dev's/evenbalance got off their proverbial asses and fixed it. ;)
Lets remind ourselves of the pb_guidrelax settings;
0 = Kick for UNKN GUIDs, WRONGIP GUIDs and DUPLICATE GUIDs. 1 = Kick for WRONGIP GUIDs and DUPLICATE GUIDs 2 = Kick for UNKN guid and DUPLICATE GUIDs 3 = Kick for DUPLICATE GUIDs. 4 = Kick for UNKN guid and WRONGIP GUIDs 5 = Kick for WRONGIP GUIDs . 6 = Kick for UNKN guid 7 = DO NOT Kick for UNKN guid, WRONGIP GUIDs and DUPLICATE GUID
This means that any random keygen user can join a pb enabled server with no problem at all if the guidrelax setting is 7.
Server admins need to place a task into their pbsv.cfg to constantly reassign the guidrelax setting to 0;
pb_sv_task 60 240 pb_sv_guidrelax 0
They also need to couple that with the pb_sv_NoGuidGrace setting;
pb_sv_NoGuidGrace
[0-300](default=1) Holds the number of seconds PB will wait before kicking players who join without having a PB GUID.
Refusing to enter a CDKey into the game causes the "no guid" condition.
As Duality has posted, activision/infinity ward in their wisdom have the game cd key in plain text in your registry, there are a lot of instant lvl 55 hacks, cod4 tweaking programmes etc etc that contain keyloggers and are specifically designed to entice in the innocent and steal their cd key.
This is how cheat coders harvest legit cd keys to issue to their clientelle.

We are not evenbalance and we share the same concerns as the cod4 admin community and indeed the cod4 community as a whole.

We do not delete team accounts as the MPI draws info from them.
Your team acount has been locked and you have been deleted from it.

We have a special forum section for anyone that appears on the MBI because it is our policy to give cheaters absolutely nothing, and that includes a member forum acount.
The fact that you have a member account and can post in the normal forum sections means that we are well aware that it was not you that raised the bannable violation.
What we have undisputable proof of, is that a player with a pbguid of e3f7e59ffb305ec420e6d55c44fefdd4 joined a PBBans streaming server and raised a multihack violation.
The pbguid e3f7e59ffb305ec420e6d55c44fefdd4 will remain on the MBI forever, if we were to lift the ban it would allow a cheater to carry on cheating, surely you can see that.
It is the players responsibility to keep his game cd key secure and before crying keygen, I would suggest you do a full malaware scan of your pc to ensure a keylogger of some type has not found its way on to your pc.

Let me be completely honest and upfront with you.
First of all you register with an IP address that is completely unrelated to the IP you have made your post's from.
That in itself is not a crime but it does raise the warning flags (for me at least)
MPI data is factual streamed data, nothing more, nothing less and is specifically designed to be tamperproof.
If I was a security officer of a clan, tasked with checking new applicants for my clan and you applied, I would give you the "thanks but no thanks" response.

I'm not sure what is supposed to mean this statement, was it ironic? I mean I created a forum account yesterday to be able to post in this section, but what is the link with the bans?
It means that we have not moved you to the restricted user section because we can not prove with 100% certainty that you triggered a ban.
Is that hard to understand ?
Our policy is to give cheaters nothing, and that also includes a member forum account.
Believe it or not we are not fortune tellers either, so lets stick to factual information shall we.
Cybercafe or not, its a fact that you have used a banned cd key to connect to a server, hence the connection between a banned key and you.
Like iceman stated earlier, mpi data can not be altered in any shape or form and maybe a chat with your old clan would yield a more positive result than a whine on here.

The bans issued for the pbguid's concerned are indeed valid.
The fact that you have a member forum account and have not had your forum access limited to the "restricted user" section means that we can not with 100% certainty say that it was you who triggered said bans.
Bottom line = dont use leaked keys off the internet if you do not want to be associated with the inevitable bother that accompanies that type of cd key.

I have added the server to your team account and upgraded your forum status.
The main reason a server disappears "off the grid" is because it has not streamed for 3 continuous days, if that happens the server is removed from our systems automatically.
To prevent this happening you need to add a task to your pbsv.cfg;
pb_sv_task 0 7200 pb_sv_ver
This will send regular heartbeats to the hub even if the server is empty for long periods.
For future reference, you can add servers yourself to your team account via your account manager, the server then joins a queue to be approved by a staff member.
The final addition is always done by a staff member in case of any probs that may be apparent, so the process takes a wee bit longer than normal, usually 1 hour or less :)

Hey, One of our servers has been black listed but one seems ok. the problem is the bad server was the one we were intending on using for Competition. I was reading the posts up top there and lol I dont even know what "cracked" means lol. So Was just wondering how to go about getting this fixed... (How to remove Cracked binaries?)
Servers are added to our blacklist for a multitude of reasons, cracked being just one of them.
Post up the full server IP address, including the port and we will take it from there.
For future reference, always create a topic of your own if you have a problem of any sort rather than tag your prob onto someone elses topic, its so easy to be overlooked if you do that and our aim is to provide support asap.
Creating your own topic makes that support a lot faster :)

PBBans is a privately run anti cheat site that offers live streaming and enhanced checks in the shape of md5 and cvar scans etc.
If you are seeking information as to why a game has been dropped from the EvenBalance support list I would suggest dropping the game devs an e-mail and see if you get a response, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TimeGate_Studios

Hi just curious why my public server is not streaming anymore and why it was deactivated... server ip is 68.232.162.138:28960
No one on this side of the fence deactivated that server.
Its not streamed since the 25th April, and its not configured correctly for hub streaming at this minute.
If a server fails to stream for 3 days it is automatically deactivated.
solution:
Re-enter the streaming commands or use the automated setup feature http://www.pbbans.com/webtool.php
Ensure that you have this task set in your pbsv.cfg pb_sv_task 0 7200 pb_sv_ver this will ensure that your server still sends heartbeats to the hub, even if its empty for long periods.

but does this mean that every time my server is empty I will not be able to access the SGA private forum and use other features exclusive to SGA's?
My standard response to admins that just run the crysis series of games.
You should be aware that crytek have not fully intergrated PB into any of their products.Despite repeated assurances that they will apply a fix, thus far they have not.
As a consequence PBUCON does not work properly and crysis/crysis wars servers will only stream when players are active on the server.
This means that the largest streaming server anti cheat site in the world can not maintain streaming. (and they wonder why their games are bombing) :)
You can try asking crytek why they have not fully intergrated PB into their games, we did .. several times, all we got were false promises of full intergration within a patch.
They seem very good at making false promises, if you recall, they were supposedly going to release dedicated linux binaries for crysis and instead, right out of the blue they just announced that they would not be releasing anything for crysis ... ever :blink:
I wont say what I personally think of them in respect of the support offered to their own gaming communities, suffice to say that I would never buy a product with the crytek brand on it.

This got to be quite a common problem on BF2. GUID spoofing along with Name + PID spoofing which was possible there too :(
Let's get things perfectly straight and clear before any more misinformation is posted.
The method of providing a secure pbguid for the game Enemy Territory has been compromised.
This only affects Enemy Territory, all other PB supported games still have secure pbguid's.
Theres a lot more information in the private game specific sections of our forums, if you want to make a query or read up on the subject matter.
