Hi, sorry to post a different topic in the same post but my brother has been banned from the website?. He said he streamed the server but was waiting for reply on it, We both have rcon, anyway to solve this?
If your using the same ip, we only allow 1 forum account per ip.
Theres no problem with the 2 of you using the same account.
The one your posting with atm is the active forum account.

Hi, yeah lol. We're only streaming one server at the minute it's called ''BIG MAPS [No Tanks]. and for the I.D Number i'm not quite on the same line, sorry if you can explain :).

Hey guys, just needed to ask a couple of things if that isn't a problem. First off my bro and I have been streaming a couple of servers for a few years now. We have just got a new server, and it's streaming to PBBans, it's currently 20 slots, soon to be upgraded to 64 slots. I wondered how do people manage to get the right tools, e.g to check players guids, 64 slots is a kind of crysis :P so it would be abit of an advantage, seeing as we have streamed for a long time. It's no rush, I appreciate the help. Thank you.
I have just banned your earlier forum account, dont worry its standard procedure.
A forum account and a team account are 2 totally different things, as is running punkbuster and running PB + streaming.

Dude your rants and behaviours can stay on your website, the one thing I will say is, its always best practise to check and double check your source of information before posting up misinformation (downright lies) on the front page of your website.
If that is your idea of showing respect, then again, I would check and double check your understanding of the word.

This may be a dumb question but I am going to ask anyway. In regards to sponsorship, would EA games, Activision, and other game makers be possible since PBBans does so much work to keep their games honest? I think that kind of sponsorship would really validate PBBans hard work.
It's an avenue we could explore for sure, we get offers of sponsorship from all kinds of different companies, but .. :P we always strive to keep our website / forums etc etc completely ad free, for the simple reason that we do not want ads cluttering up our site or forums.
As long as donations meet our running cost's we are happy to continue as is.
Some months its a close run thing to balance the books, but we have achieved a completely ad free environment for over 5 years and as long as our supporters keep us afloat with donations thats the way it will stay.
Remember, every donation, no matter how large or small, goes into the collective pot to pay for PBBans running cost's, not a penny goes anywhere else.
The validation of PBBans services comes from the people that really matter, the server admins who elect to stream to PBBans, we have moved from a medium sized anti cheat streaming service, to the largest in the world in a relative small time frame and at the same time have maintained our integrity, all without ads cluttering the place up.

I'm truly indifferent regarding this streaming stuff. It is to fulfill the AiX obligation.
I wont use the added products offered by PBBans. Some believe computer programs are the best way to find and identify hackers. I just happen to believe differently as previously stated.
I was hoping to see a change in attitude etc as this topic developed, but I guess you can lead a horse to water but you can not make it drink.
Seeing as your truly indifferent to "this streaming stuff" and will not be using any of our md5 scans etc, there is no point in giving you any type of access to our private forum sections / Master Config Index etc etc.
So I am going to lock down your existing team account and issue a permanent denial.
This is none negotiable.
I guess that the one good thing to come out of all this is to highlight just why we close denied application topics (just imagine 20 or so of this type of thread on a daily basis)
I am also going to bring this whole sorry saga to an end by closing this topic.

One other important point, is that if anyone who appears on PBBans Master Ban Index is residing among your clan ranks, they will need to be removed from your clan.

ok i went into the server that is run by the clan i am with and when i get in it kicks me and tells me crazyfrog pd kick player pbbhub: your ip or subnet was recently caught cheating and is blacklisted for 86400 seconds on this server[admin discression]. i know there was another player with the same name that was banned on may 1 2009. how can i get my name cleared i sent a trouble ticket to punkbuster. any help would be great. the game is cod4
Let me get this straight, your in a clan that has banned your IP/subnet and you think there might be a connection to someone with the same alias as you ?
Another player with the same alias = totally irrelevant
Opening a troubleticket on this issue with EvenBalance = totally irrelevant/useless
Connection to the player banned = none (unless you moonlight in Kazakstan)
Connection to the banned players IP = none
I would suggest having a chat with your clan leader or whoever is tasked with running the clan server and asking your question.

I'm not sure why having one of your guys register is such an issue? Why is this to much to ask?
The issue is that PBBans is the largest anti cheat site in the world and get numerous applications for team accounts on a daily basis, to register on every site just to view a roster etc is not practical for us, hence the streaming requirements pinned topic.
Why should we make an exception for 1, when thousands before you have had no problem.
Checking a roster is an important part of the account validation process, because we will deny streaming to anyone that has cheaters within their ranks.

If you can not comply with anything that is required for one reason or another, your existing team account will stay locked and you can stream elsewhere.
Please do not post up an argument as to why you can not comply, when it comes to validating team account applications, its either our way or the highway, I refuse to make exceptions for 1 clan when thousands of others have managed to do what you are flat out refusing to.

Just be aware that cheaters actively look for servers with PB disabled or have a guidrelax setting other than 0.
If you elect to leave your guidrelax setting on anything other than 0 you are effectively compromising the reason why you stream in the first place :)

There was no confusion / incompetency etc etc as you posted on your website.
There is no problem with you taking over an inactive account that was first created in 2008.
All you have to do is provide a viewable roster on your website, because we are now aware that the guy who initially created the team account is inactive both on your forums and ours.
Your views on PB and streaming I can do without.

ahhh... ok, I understand what that does.
but what does it mean when a single player has that many linked guid's in relation to his,
and that some of those linked guid's were previosly banned?

It normally means that the player was using a downloaded version of the game, and because a lot of admins are unaware of cod4 setting the guidrelax setting to 7 on every map rotate or server restart, their servers will allow these llama's to play with no problem.

Quite simple really, we choose not to support clans/groups that have cheaters on their roster and are full of players who use leaked cd keys.
Who other anti cheat sites choose to support is entirely up to them.
You will not be getting a team account here, and no re-activation will take place for the suspended team account.
The Arctic Servers team account application was denied by me, your game pbguid was one derived from a leaked cd key that is "out in the wild" on the internet, an obvious connection to a clan that harbours cheaters, and this;

The player concerned has gone through the appeals procedure and the demo was reviewed again as part of that procedure.
If he has a complaint he can post it up in the restricted users section of the forum (this is the one forum section he has access to)
Having looked at the demo myself I would say it probably would be a waste of time.
What really is a complete waste of everyones time, is some random player posting on these forums on behalf of a "friend".
btw, if ever we need a demo reviewer for cod4 dont bother applying :P

And just as an afterthought, your clan member would be well advised on running a full malaware scan of his system.
A lot of rank hacks, tweak programmes etc etc for the COD series come with a back door trojan that immediately sends the game cd key to a third party.
