Is this a server run from your home or a dedicated server that is rented from a GSP (Game Server Provider)

I spoke to the host in order to have our server running again.
But meanwhile, Is it possible for me to send some GUIDs to one of the admins and kindly check at MPi if they're not used before?
I need to check some CD keys, if they're clean before let the guys use it.

Anyone can use the pbguid checker on our main website to check if a pbguid appears on our banlist.
If you need to check prospective clan members etc via the MPI more thouroughly, you will need to be streaming a server.
If you dont want anyone using the server till you check them out, you can always password it first and either open it up after you have run your checks, or pass the password to your prospective clan members.
The criteria for full MPI access is a streaming server.

Therein lies your problem, if for some insane reason you want to continue using gv streaming scripts and want to stream to PBBans as well, your ucon usesessionlimit needs increasing and the line pb_sv_uconadd 1 64.27.21.46 pbbanshub pbbanshub needs to be added.

Do you have a team account at PBBans ?
We will not be discussing any cheat related PBBans scans in a general discussion area that is viewable to the public (google)
So any feedback re a specific scan that is provided by PBBans is for private forum sections only.

The server went down when I issued the command pb_sv_task 0 7200 pb_sv_ver!!
This server is run by a local ISP and currently has no assigned agent to re-launch the server!! :(

The only way to access the MPI is by streaming a server(s), at the moment your team account looks like this;

You do not specify which game you are talking about but afaik all gravity / jump height etc etc settings, are set in the server.cfg by the admin who controls the server.

One of the staff will add you to the newer account and you can sort things out for yourselves :)
If no one else takes care of it, I will do so myself when I finish work.

already done that, it writes the .cfg but when i go look in ftp its not there.
my homepath "Server: Home Path is /home/gameserv/.codwaw/pb/"
so i created ".codwaw/pb/" in the root. and copied the other pb folder in this one, thats right or not?

If the server response is;
Server: Home Path is /home/gameserv/.codwaw/pb/
it means its already there and running from that location .. contact your hoster and have them tell you exactly how to navigate to your servers .codwaw/pb directory.

While on the server, bring down the console and type;
/rcon pb_sv_homepath ( /rcon = your rcon password .. do not forget the / )
and let the server tell you were the pb directory is located.

Install HLSW by following this guide;

Type into HLSW pb_sv_homepath and the server will tell you were your pb directory is located.
According to HLSW your server has PB running, the problem you have is locating exactly were from.
Typing /rcon pb_sv_writecfg creates a pbsv.cfg

Right .. enough is enough .. we are not getting into inter clan disputes etc here .. the original account I am going to lock down and remove all servers from it (#2738)
A full reapplication will be required by anyone who is interested in using PBBans streaming services.
I will guarantee that a more rigorous than normal vetting procedure will be done on any applications made by anyone from this clan so please, get your own house in order before making any applications and please read this;

PBBans would prefer clans / groups that use our service to manage their own affairs in a proper manner, thats why so much control is given to TA masters, we feel that if you pay money to keep servers up and running it's the least your entitled to, but when that control is creating problems for us, then thats when someone has to step in and put a stop to said problems.
If you feel this decision is harsh your welcome to stream elsewhere.

There is no "nonimportant stuff" Bro, everything we ask for in the streaming application requirements post is there for a very good reason.
We are looking for signs of longevity and we do not allow cheaters or harbourers of cheaters to stream to PBBans.
For the future, it will get even tougher to aquire a team account here, but once your in, you will see instant benefits for you and your clan.
Footnote:
If we applied the same criteria for a streaming account as used elsewhere, PBBans would have in excess of 10,000 servers streaming.
Despite making it tough to attain a streaming account, PBBans has well in excess of 6,000 servers streaming.
This tell's you that a hell of a lot of admins have gone that extra mile to get a team account here, and whats more, once they do they stay streaming here :)

The account is active but no servers have been added to it.
You add servers yourself via account manager.

A working clan/group website is a mandatory requirement for a successful team account application.
If you resolve this issue a full re-application will be required.

Linux servers normally come with 2 pb folders, one is hidden and the other is not.
The default pbsv.cfg that is loaded by default is normally found in the hidden pb folder and that is the one preceded by a .
i.e. .callofduty5/pb

Another thing to beware of is that a lot of instant lvl55 hacks etc etc contain a keylogger that will steal your cd key and pass it directly to the hack maker, they have so many customers banned for using their paid for cheats, stealing cd keys is an essential part of their business.

So there isnt a possibility to like change the GUID's ban to everyone else in the planet, and yet one country gets trough? :D Should I try to cry activision to get a new key.. If thats even possible?

If you have proof of purchase, that is fairly recent, you can try a mega whine to activision and see if they are feeling benevolent :rolleyes:
Did you find malaware on your computer or did you just format to be on the safe side ?

Hi Fredke, as I explained in the pm, if the cd key you were using was an original copy of the game that was bought via a genuine retail outlet, then it looks like the cd key is now "out in the wild" so to speak.
Every reputable anti cheat site places bans by pbguid only, and as your probably aware, the pbguid is a 32 digit hexadecimal hash of the game cd key.
The cd key you have been using has somehow been picked up by a serial cheater and used to cheat with :(
This situation normally arises because some kind of malaware has found its way onto your computer that includes a keylogger so it may be worth running a complete malaware scan on your pc, just in case.
The usual type of malaware that also contains a back door keylogger, that we see, is contained in a instant lvl55 hack, or something of that type.
All that concerns us is that pbguid 9ff379ab74b18d03614eab15828d976c was used to cheat with, of that there is no doubt, and as such we will not remove the ban form the MBi.
The way forward for you is to buy an original copy of the game, but firstly make sure that there is nothing on your system that will send the new cd key to an outside source as soon as you go online with it.

Your appeal did go through but as the violation was not raised by you the normal procedure is to delete it or deny, because the pbguid was used to cheat with but not by you.

A cheater was within your clan ranks and the violation was deemed valid by EvenBalance staff via appeal / troubleticket.
As per our policy a notification was sent to you via forum pm by Lucky_Fr4gg3r, which was read but not responded to, by you.
In that pm is notification of a 7 day grace period, wereby you are expected to get rid of the cheater from the clan / roster within 7 days.
The 7 day grace period had elapsed and the cheater was still on your roster, so the account was suspended pending the correct action to be taken by you.
I am looking at your clan roster at this minute and I can still see the same player is still on your roster and marked active.

This player needs to be completely removed from your clan/roster before the team account will be unsuspended.
When you are ready, pm Lucky_Fr4gg3r and he will check things out and take the appropriate action.

i couldn't upload the file: " pbucon.use" to our ranked bf2 server (hosted by gameservers.com).
is it a big deal or not?

For pbucon to work you need pbucon.use .. if it aint there, your streaming will not work.
If you have no access to the game pb directory, ask your GSP to put it in there for you.

scrub that :) there must be a pbucon.use in your root pb directory, otherwise you would not get this result;

I'm personally disappointed on how long it's taking to get a "patch" out. I know it takes time and all, but this is getting ridiculous.

I want to talk about players who change their cfg...they reduce their recoil, remove grass and stark, and other stuff like that, i want to know if its possible to catch and ban this kind of player because its like a cheat.
Without getting into the old "when is tweaking considered cheating" debate :)
PBBans will never add anyone to the MBI without proof positive of cheat use by way of EvenBalance violation or PBBans scans.
The onus is on the server admins to create a level playing field for all by employing cvar restrictions as posted by HSMagnet.
The tools have been in place since day1 to combat tweakers, it just takes proactive admins to use them :P
