Well we got a few people that bought it so I dropped the 12 bucks against my better judgment. We will give a run and see what we can do although it doesn't look promising. I have heard so far that multi sucks with a bunch of fools tk'ing but I will withhold my opinion for now... :banghead:

Yep, me too... Shame but at least I found out before buying it. Might still consider it if it has a decent single player (can't remember if it did at this point) but will see what more opinions are given if any.

Not really surprised... And its safe to say I won't be wasting money on yet another game. Sad because even Frontlines with all its bugs was and is a hell of a game. So much potential thrown away for perks and ranks. (Translation: Money.)

I would have to agree with Piggy on this one. Was die-hard Ventrillo for years but TS3 is far more configurable, lighter on resources, and more fully functional than previous versions.

For our group that play BO at this point we only remove those special people that create issues; sorry but there is no fast or sure way to guarantee people are hacking or otherwise. If they become a complete disruption to players it is reason enough for a removal and a ban if it continues. It isn't because they cheat as we have no proof. Mainly about balance and while not perfect it works for now. I suspect in 6 months this won't be an issue since once the shine wares off it will die anyway; at least until the next biannual game release.

Based on the after a ban statement I would more likely think that someone has been downloading "skill". Looks like to me that what ever raised the ban in the first place was still present after the new game was bought and installed.

One thing a lot of us older players find is that in order to play CoD4 or Waw or whatever we have to beat up friends, clan members, etc to get them to play. Most have the games but due to everyone's short attention span these days more and more are into this 2 or 3 game a year new release program. The next big thing as it were. I as well have posted my stepping back and have in fact done so by taking on another hobby. The problem is that stepping away means not being in contact with the friends you have made while playing. We never had a huge group but the main ones that were active stuck by and were like extended family. Many of us have visited, drank, had dinner, etc. I understand how frustrated with things Maydax is and thats why for me personally I have not bought a new game since BC2. I still get into the community so thats what keeps me hanging on anyway.

Yea, no promises because they are going to release the same crap as before. Nothing here to see... Move along. I finally got a new system to play the current games. Finally got to see BFBC2 in its full visual glory. Same player shit that has been in the gaming community for the last several releases; sadly I just don't have the patience.

Points for that except I did not buy the game as stated and its looking like it was the correct choice. Maybe once it goes on sale in Steam for 10 bucks... I know I know; time to join the future. Nope, its not in my future I guess. Nice 3D Maydax btw.
