Its funny. We paid to go through the Bf3 Beta (bad company 2) for a year and a half. They still could not figure out how to manage something as expectational as VOIP in Bf3. Now for the 'low low price' of $69.99 you too can have another EA coaster to set your beer on. Where do I sign up?

Rude is giving away beta keys to those already registered on his site.

DICE modern setting getting stale FPS needs innovating
buttscratcher replied to MaydaX's topic in Off Topic
lol. your better than that :smooth: As to the topic, I'd say 2143 w/ dx11. But it would not have VOIP nor battle recorder, so no love for clans. Heck no love for the pubbers that get raped on clan servers w/ clannies on TS. -

Perhaps gamers would not get so bored so quickly if the games he/DICE produces have expectational PC features? No VOIP? No demos? No dice... (Sorry surfy, I owed you a corny pun for the chord reference earlier :) ) -

Yeah, not real sure what the real benifit of having EB (or any anti-cheat) if this PFF turns out to be like how server rentals in Tribes Ascend are handled. The PFF games that are rented through the game developer. There will be many hollow blacklight bans issued by EB, and they will sell those stats to the next developer that stumbles their way. R&R That said. Downloading how :fighting0050:

*rant warning* No offence to the OP. (not trying to start an agrument at all) But, lets think about this: I think its ghey in two fronts. I get the reason behind letting "lite" streamers into the lower levels of the clubhouse. (not that I totally agree w/ it, but thats another topic) But, creating an official sig for kicks? I think thats funny. Think about any new Johhny-liteloafer, posting w/ our PBbans sig attached to his posts over at FPS or EA, or Steam, or where ever... I think the gaming/cheat community would laugh at PBbans if it started promoting itself with "kicks" sigs. That will really scare the hackers :). I can hear it now... "oooo dont go to that server, they stream to PBbans, and have lots of kicks" ? lol. Or - "hey. look at us, were tough on cheats, over 200,000 kicks to date"? To me, logging and being proud of kicks enough to want to have a sig for it only weakens the image of the group as a whole. If the new guys want to lite stream, thats one thing. But dont dumb things down for the rest of the actual SGA's w/ kick sigs... Let em earn their stripes like the rest of us. If they want a sig w/ tons of bans, let them host PFF games (that should not be protected here anyway) or CoD4 (that actually has demo bans available) The name of the group is PBbans. Its not PBkicks. Just my $ .02 *rant over*

Was wondering earlier about something, and thought this would be a good group of ppl to ask. Is there a site on the www where two ppl can have p 2 p - PC games w/ each other? More specificly, old school arcade games. Your Gallaga, Defender, Donkey Kong, PacMan, Joust, and the like... The games we used to steal change from our older brothers change drawer, to go waste an afternoon at the arcade with. Was thinking it would be a fun change of pace to play some 1 v 1 "old school" titles with some of our clanmates that grew up around the same time. Just dont know if a site or service exists out in cyberland that might foot the bill. Any ideas?

If "Social Gaming efforts" is refferring to Origin and battlelog, then Duh? Thats one of many problems trying to compete w/ an established giant like Steam. When you fall short, it only magnifies how far something like Origin has to go to catch up. Once the rest of the fickle PC masses move on from Bf3, where will Origin be then? dead... Nice find Taz. Will re-post it.

Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse
buttscratcher replied to MaydaX's topic in Hardware and General PC Issues
I kinda like it. Would be nice to have more options available w/ the extra side buttons. I've got the g15 keyboard, but I never got comfortable using the 1 - 6 g-keys. At best I used the g4 & g5 keys, as I didnt have to lift my hand or strech, like I do to reach the other g-keys. I bet it would take some getting used to, but I like it. -
As to dig up an old topic. CS:Source on sale @ Steam. $6.80 good through June 19th http://store.steampowered.com/app/240/

I'll pass, but let me know when you have a CS:GO invite ;) -
Nice find Taz. My ears perked up on the last line: Should be just enough time for even the most die-hard EA fan to seek out new games to learn to love. Be it arma 3 to CS:GO, or even heaven forbid Blops 2 :o

RO2 GOTY Free Content Update and Free Weekend
buttscratcher replied to MaydaX's topic in Red Orchestra 2
We got this for our guys while on sale. Thought it would be a nice change of pace. What kind of server control does the game use? Might rent a small server and learn the ropes w/out bogging down a pub server. EDIT: Had a quick look around a pub server. Its worth the $10. Heck, even if it was just to support TW, I'd recommend it. -
Never happen. That would be like filing suit against most interesting man in the world Chuck would beat them silly.

2x's xp? Is this Blops or Battlefield? Anyone have a spare key to the counterstrike beta? Think I need a new fix.
