Kicked out of COD4 servers - Disallowed Program Driver
fozzer replied to Rod74x's topic in Call of Duty 4
Yep, I sure would, but I would be concentrating my efforts on the actual people/organisations that could provide said fix. After being updated with your quite comprehensive troubleticket response (which is appreciated by the way) my intention was to make Alvar aware, that we are not evenbalance (a lot of folks seem to think we are) and that no amount of posting on here is going to resolve his issue. Hopefully the people who can provide a fix, will do so asap, in my experience its best to adopt the "squeaky wheel" (the squeaky wheel gets the most oil) tactic with issues of this type, and if NVIDIA provided a fix back in 2010, I dont see why the same problem would rear its head again in later driver releases and would want to know why, if indeed, the more recent issues are NVIDIA driver related (they might not be) Either way, there is nothing stopping you using this thread to collate your respective information :) but thats all we can offer here. -

MOH 16 Man Server not streaming
fozzer replied to eddyg21221's topic in Streaming Questions and Troubleshooting
The port of 19567 just does not seem right for a MOH server (more associated with BFBC2 servers), so I tried adding 74.63.54.123:7673 to your team account. Streaming kicked in instantly. I do hope that is the correct ip / port of your server :scratchchin: I have left things just as they are so you can see what I have done. You can delete whatever you need as you see fit via account manager. -
I'll let you off posting in a thread thats 7 months old because you just got the game :P but its not going to prevent me relating my experience with BFBC2. The game plays great for me on the whole, I have everything cranked to the max and have no problems at all. The one thing needed to play this game with any degree of consistency is a quad core cpu. The PBGUID is based on a combination of cd key and EA account, so as long as you get the ingame alias correct its a simple matter for the server admin to find a players PBGUID. For PBBans server admins, they can use the MPi or Hub Live(if the player is ingame)to check things out. You can report a player direct to EA for abusing the score / ranking system here; http://support.ea.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/65 Various issues have cropped up with this game here and there, the latest is PnkbstrB.exe taking 30 - 40% cpu usage resulting in a big fps drop. The game itself took about a year to get the hang of (still learning btw) and that in itself is worth the price. BFV was a nice addon for

Without going in to too much detail, the PBBans streaming requirements were put in place mainly to address security issues. We took advice from Tony Ray himself and then added a bit extra. Every group has to meet the requirements that are in place, for the use, and continued use, of PBBans services, there are no exceptions. The requirements ensure that longevity, integrity and zero tolerance toward cheaters, are present in all the groups that use PBBans as a streaming partner. Any streaming service that only requires you to register on a forum and then you can stream a server, has at the very least, a corrupt banlist, and probably a lot more. To answer your question, we would not ok a team account application if the website had 1or2 members on the roster, a very low or zero post count, no server information on the website etc etc. There is a community application you could make, but again it has to conform to the requirements for community applications contained here: http://www.pbbans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=82423 The other alternative is to use a less secure streaming service than PBBans (which is anyone else)

The BF series of games has always thrown up cheat accusations based on scores or stats. The main reason for this is no ingame demo facility, and with BFBC2, no pbss facility for most. One of our core ethics is a player is always given the benefit of the doubt when there is no concrete evidence to support claims of cheat use. For BFBC2 the evidence must be either an MD5 scan detection, a pbss detection or a full blown EB detection. When we come across posts that contain player details that the general public have no access to, those details are moderated as a matter of course. Your scenario is not a rare one and all we ask is that admins display a modicum of patience when dealing with sus players before getting the pitchforks out of the closet :) Example: http://www.pbbans.com/forums/server-streaming-and-no-problem-for-the-cheater-t141639.html

I can appreciate that you have a new website up and running, but on the flip side there are still the mandatory streaming requirements that apply to everyone for the use, and continued use, of PBBans services. I see a forum with just 2 posts and no viewable server information on the site. Add to the mix that your website was experiencing issues as recently as yesterday, and thats why your waiting longer than normal for a simple reactivation request to be reponded to. Your team account is now reactivated, but I would expect a few signs of longevity to be present if an audit is carried out on your team account details some time in the future, and at least viewable server information to be posted on your homepage pretty soon.

bc2 server NOT streaming after changeing the ip
fozzer replied to sacaluro's topic in Streaming Questions and Troubleshooting
All none streaming issues are client side. The correct server address has been added to your team account, once you get the streaming initiation commands correct, the server will stream instantly. Try; http://www.pbbans.com/automated-streaming-setup.html or http://www.pbbans.com/info-center-hubguide.html#bc2rcon or http://www.pbbans.com/info-center-hubguide.html#bc2gui -
You need to apply for a team account to stream a server, this beginners guide will take you through the whole process. http://www.pbbans.com/info-center-beginnersguide.html Here is the Hub guide for setting an AAO server to stream via PBBans; http://www.pbbans.com/info-center-hubguide.html#aao

+1 rep for the fix CosmicBlue :) nice workaround.

Already a topic on this issue. http://www.pbbans.com/forums/could-not-query-global-ban-server-t141364.html Anything to add, just post in there.

Yeah, and by the way, the horse has disappeared :P

That maybe, but if the ban was lifted on his pbguid that would mean that the person who stole his game cd key would be free to roam around cheating again. That is not going to happen, we will never lift a valid ban from our systems. The problem is compounded by the fact that the IP's attached to the ban are all from Brazil and are truly dynamic, they seem to issue a new IP every day  If EA's lax security is the reason that players game cd keys are being compromised, the onus is on them to provide all those affected with a new game cd key and at the same time, tighten up their procedures.

Banned on a server but not on the banlist
fozzer replied to Bf^Ham!sh-'s topic in Streaming Questions and Troubleshooting
Tell the admin to read this; http://www.evenbalance.com/publications/aa-ad/index.htm all necessary information is there. A server admin locally applied your ban, the least they can do is to read up on how to remove it :) It will help train him up on how to admin his server at the same time :P -
I have sent you a forum PM with your full 32 digit pbguid for BFBC2
-
Not my field of expertise :) but it was either enable the flood protection and keep the banlists available to the public, or make the banlists only available to admins with private forum access. Our intention is to keep them available for all and this is the only way to do it.
-
It is deliberate. It's exactly what it says on the tin The emphasis being on flood protection.
-
Just to add to whats already been posted. PBBans does not accept demos as proof of cheat use for enemy territory.
-
Not very wise to resurrect a 2 year old thread when the answer is staring at you from the forum menu :P http://www.pbbans.com/forums/demo-submissions-amp%3B-discussions-f513.html The only problem is that due to the ease of spoofing players that is specific to ET, we do not accept demo's for this game any longer.

Here is my standard copy/paste response to queries of this nature. Any bannable violation that is raised directly by PB software, as per this list; #50000s - Aimbot #60000s - Wallhack #70000s - Multihack #80000s - Gamehack #90000s - 'Cheat' Video Drivers #100000s - Speedhack #110000s - Autofire #120000s - Game Hook #130000s - Attempted PunkBuster Hack is added automatically to the PBBans MBI. It should be remembered that EB normally apply a 2 minute kick for the above violations and its the proactive admin or 3rd party anti cheat service that apply the actual ban. EvenBalance always have the last word when a cheat violation is raised directly by their own software, but as the actual ban is issued by PBBans.com its best practice to include us in the appeal procedure. The player can do this by clicking the "appeal this ban" tab and following the simple instructions provided. This will include raising a troubleticket directly with EvenBalance and that should include as much information as possible as to why the player thinks this is a "false positive". It's always a good idea to list all processes that were running at the time the violation was raised (antivirus / chat programmes etc etc ) The key word with any troubleticket query is patience, EB get a hell of a lot of queries and response time is dependent on how busy they are. Normal response time is 48 - 72 hours. In short: If a player is claiming that their raised violation is not valid, they always have the right to open a troubleticket with evenbalance to plead their case. http://www.evenbalance.com/troubleticket/

PunkBuster will no longer be updating from said point onwards.

My eldest son has this game and he refuses point blank to play any mp untill something constructive is done about the cheaters that are rampant throughout. He says that every server he joined over a 1 week period had at least 1 very blatant cheater in it (he is a seasoned online player and server administrator so rule out whine :P ) I told him about the recent develpoements re cheaters in homefront and his verdict was, reporting cheaters to a third party site so they could pass the info on just does not cut it. Looking at the figures of how many are playing this online, cheaters already have a limited/constrictive playing field, so the chances of bumping into them online are very high. As my son found out
