I would never buy a game that had anything to do with crytek. This is the company that were promising a crysis 1.3 patch one day, then dropped all crysis support the next, less than a year after initial release :blink: No explanation was initially given but the fact that the complete game was cracked and available via a torrent download before the game was released might have had something to do with it, or it could have been that they moved over to EA from Ubisoft and EA had "conditions". Either way, a company that promised to listen to the community left them in the lurch and out of pocket without so much as a by your leave. Couple to that, crytek have never been able to fully intergrate PB into their products despite repeated assurances that the issue would be fixed, streaming was only possible if players were on the server, if the server became empty, streaming stopped and had to be set up all over again when players re-appeared on it (thats if an admin was handy) If their new rubbish goes VAC, so much the better imo :)

Anyone else with a "banned but innocent" story to tell :P Please start your own thread.
-
and lets not forget :P One of those who had access managed to get the pbguid banned. I will go as far to say that it definitely was not you, but like has been repeatedly stated, we do not lift valid/100% proven bans for nobody. If you want to carry on playing BF2 on PBBans protected servers, you will need a game cd that is completely unique to you. This will in turn generate a pbguid that is completely unique to you.
-
Not to worry :P I looked you up on our MPi. The last 8 of your BF2 pbguid is 82275f27, the issued ban is nothing at all to do with you, apart from some llama using an alias in BF2 that is similar to an alias you use in BFBC2.
-
Lets not hide the edit you made to your post :P Punctuation is a wondrous thing when used :) Don't be a cheapskate, buy your own copy of the game. As already stated, bans are made on a players pbguid, any other information (IP / Alias / Country of origin) is incremental information only. There is no way a proven ban is going to be lifted, ever.
-
Any ban issued by pbbans.com is based on a players pbguid only. Any other information such as IP / alias / country of origin, is incremental information only and is there to aid admins identify cheaters past and present. Take a look at the ban information; http://www.pbbans.com/mbi-viewban-acee0d9c-vb203904.html A player with a pbguid of 0941c53af9bac4206e2680bdacee0d9c raised a gamehook violation as a direct result of running PB software. The player concerned was Canadian, with an alias of Tw1$T3r, and an IP of 68.71.52.113 The pbguid is derived directly from the game cd key, so as this pbguid has been used by players from the UK / USA / and Canada, it's safe to assume that the game cd key is "out in the wild". You have not given us the last 8 digits of your pbguid. If this is not your pbguid, then contact the server admin that has you banned and point them to this thread, because the issued ban is nothing to do with you. If this is your pbguid you need to buy a new copy of the game and protect the cd key as you would your bank PIN number. If your complaining that your alias is on the issued ban, then there is nothing to be done. We will not alter MPi information for anyone or anything, we do not even have the means to do so, this in turn protects the integrity of our banlist. Hopefully, that explains thing a bit more clearly for you.

Please do not give cheat sites free advertising by posting links to video "evidence" it could lead to your forum account being moderated or banned. The only way anyone can be added to the PBBans MBi is if guaranteed evidence is available to compliment the issued ban. This comes in the form of; An evenbalance cheat violation. A punkbuster screenshot showing cheat use. A PBBans MD5 tool cheat violation. A PBBans cheat cvar violation. A PBBans cheat file match. A demo recorded by an ingame demo recorder that is incorporated directly into the game by the game publishers. Last but not least, the server must be streaming to pbbans.com Any other "evidence" (fraps recordings / xfire recordings / youtube videos etc etc, is not admissable as proof of cheat use. The only people that can impose a guid or hardware ban are the makers of punkbuster software (evenbalance) PBBans is a privately run anti cheat site, staffed by volunteers and funded by member donations.

and on that note, topic locked.

No need really, your pbbans.dat should contain the relevant information needed to manually remove false positives that are leftovers from the hub unban command. Pertinent information is Multihack #79542 Admins that prefer a more "hands on" method of dealing with ban additions and removals, rather than let the PBBans hub take the strain are the target audience here.

All none streaming issues are client side. Check that the port is correct, because according to the master server / browser, the *DS*Vietnam server's address is 85.236.109.208:20667

Application accepted but not streaming?

My "quality of service" comment was not aimed at your internet connection :) It was aimed at streaming services that do not run any kind of checks on the admins / servers that use their services, or impose mandatory streaming requirements as part and parcel of allowing streaming. By not imposing checks or requirements on prospective streamers, the door is left wide open for mischief makers to stream fake bans. This was recently demonstrated at 2 other anti cheat sites that do not check admins / servers, and do not have any mandatory streaming requirements, they were hit with an influx of fake bans In fact the only requirement they have in place at the moment is you must be a registered user on their forums. Their way of tackling this problem is to quietly remove the fake bans and carry on regardless. The problem is that the mass fake bans are swept under the carpet, but the fake bans that are trickled in ever so slowly are still there. Any anti cheat site that does not check admins / servers and have mandatory streaming requirements in place, has, at the very least, a corrupt banlist, hence my quality of service comment.

The thanks belong to evenbalance, the creators of punkbuster software. What we do is enforce the issued bans across all PBBans streaming servers of the same game genre :) Silent detections ftw;
-
No one has made any mention of cheats. What your missing, is the fact that the servers you run are from a residential internet connection, and as such have been blacklisted by our systems. We do not allow servers that are run from a place of residence use of our services. You are, of course, welcome to try another streaming service that is not bothered about quality of service. http://www.pbbans.com/tos.php http://www.pbbans.com/forums/streaming-application-requirements-t82423.html

That kind of reminds me of a squad of 30 soldiers on the parade ground ................ 1 of them can not for the life of him, work out why the other 29 are all out of step :blink:

Blackops has always ran smooth for me and my quad core processor. My son has a dual core processor at the moment and BO is running a hell of a lot smoother since the patch release :)

Theres a news item on the original server owners website about their BFBC2 server; http://oldirty.enjin.com/ I have removed the server from their team account and added it to yours. Your team account server list now looks like this;

Problem trying to Stream a New Public Server
fozzer replied to Sh0pit0's topic in General Discussions
The IP of the server resolves to an ISP and not a GSP -
A simple pinned forum topic will suffice that contains the ingame aliases of all members who wear your clantags.

There are other anti cheat streaming services that do not have any requirements in order to use their services. I can say with complete confidence that they have a corrupt banlist ... at the very least PBBans has the strictest mandatory streaming requirements of any anti cheat site, those requirements, if anything, will get stricter, never easier. The mandatory streaming requirements were put in place, mainly, to address security issues we have faced in the past. Maintaining banlist integrity is paramount, and the streaming requirements employed by PBBans help us retain banlist integrity. Its that simple. The choices available for any prospective streaming game admin are quite simple too. You either "go the extra mile" and set up a website that has all the mandatory streaming requirements in place, that will allow you to join the largest anti cheat service in the world ..... or you go for something that runs no background checks, actively encourages cheaters to stream servers (giving them access to cvar / md5 scans and private forum areas) artificially inflates their banlists, steals scans, ideas, features, from other anti cheat sites, and has a corrupt banlist at the very minimum.

you should be able to add the server to your team account now.
