You have not had your original team account suspended, or subsequent team account applications denied for anything ban related. You have been treated in exactly the same way as anyone else who is found sharing login details of their team account with someone who has no right of access. The person you decided to give your login details to, was also on the PBBans MBi You have made 3 different applications for a team account that I know of, trying to bypass your original team account suspension, one of which I asked Surfy to ok to see what happens (we had received a "heartfelt" declaration that it would never happen again) Within 24 hours you had shared your login information. Let me make things quite clear for you, no matter what you change your clan name to, no matter what you say or post, there will never be a place for you at PBBans, your integrity has been compromised permanently as far as we are concerned, and I am asking you to stop spamming our forums with useless applications for a team account and useless appeals for a rethink on our present stance re you and your clan. As if right on cue, your cheater friend tried to make another forum account here so he could view this topic, a clear indication that the 2 of you are still in cahoots. He at least has accepted that a PBBans team account or forum account will never be granted and moved to Game Violations. I suggest you do the same. The decision to never grant you a team account with PBBans is final and irrecoverable.

Help server not streaming
fozzer replied to Modlock's topic in Streaming Questions and Troubleshooting
I am using a Bad Company 2 Server Lookup tool, that was coded by MaydaX to specifically query the BFBC2 master browser and give us real time, accurate info re BFBC2 servers. It's never let us down yet :) There does seem to be something strange going on with those 2 servers though, because it looks like the game port has changed again; Whatever it is thats causing this issue, its only affecting those 2 servers, and its only those 2 servers that are not streaming. Can you get your GSP to do a full re-install of both of them (latest server version and fully updated PB) and lets see were we go from there :) -
or was that 2 years later :scratchchin: ................. :D

Help server not streaming
fozzer replied to Modlock's topic in Streaming Questions and Troubleshooting
Here is a list of all servers that use the IP address of 95.154.113.75 and show on the BFBC2 master browser; So my guess would be, the wrong port has been added for those 2 servers :P Remember, all none streaming issues are client side, once we add a server to a team account, our work is done. -
Totally proves my point that most game devs know absolutely nothing about effective anti cheat solutions, the only surprise is that he was not recommending sv_pure 1 as an anti cheat solution :P

Any donation is always welcome, monthly donations especially so :) without donations to pay our monthly bills we close down, its that simple. We rely on clans / groups that use our services, to rate the quality of service by making a donation of their own violition. We do not force a donation from anyone, we do not sell the features we have produced over the years. By adopting this method, we have always been able to keep our site, totally ad free, and we always ensure that the quality and level of support for users of our services is top notch. It also has a down side :( people forget that PBBans has a monthly bill coming in and dont bother making a donation at all. Thus far the pro's outweigh the cons. One time donators are not flagged as site sponsors, so if you plan on making a monthly donation, select your poison (bronze/silver/gold/platinum) and once your first donation is sent, PM me the details and i'll get your clan added to the site sponsors group. A huge thanks for taking the time to make this query :) hopefully others will be encouraged / reminded by it.

My thoughts. It comes as no surprise to me that after all the hype and the "listening to the community" blurb, Activison / Treyarch have effectively ignored the potential customer feedback re COD:BO and just done their own thing. I suppose Treyarch can argue that they have provided dedicated servers, but "its life Jim, but not as we know it" ;) The one and only thing that concerns gaming companies like Activision, EA etc is profit margins. They are, when all is said and done a business, and like every other business, they will always be looking to reduce costs and at the same time increase profit margins. A simplified example; A games company can easily produce 2 or 3 console games per year and make 4 - 6 million from the sales of those games. At the same time, they can port 1 game from console to pc and make 1 million from those sales. It does not take a lot of working out to see which way those companies are going to go to maximise profit margins whilst at the same time reducing cost :scratchchin: Console gaming is were the big bucks are made, its that simple. A console gamer buys a game, gets bored, buys another, expects nothing more from the game company. A pc gamer, buys a game, maybe rents a server, installs mods when the original game gets boring (also increasing game longevity) , expects support in the shape of patches etc, all this increases the outlay that games companies set aside for support, hence we see pc games that are years old still going strong, and still drawing on the resources of the game company / developer. There is probably a lot more, but you get the idea :) The pc gamer is now living on console scraps and not the other way around. Kotick has already declared an interest in partnering up with a company to develop a "pc" that you can plug straight into your TV set and get online with it click me to read the story and if you believe that all he wants to do is provide value to customers, I'll send the men in white coats around to your house its all about controlling content/gaming environment and making the customer pay through the nose for it. Stopping piracy is not an excuse that I buy into. No matter what the games companies do, there will always be some "genius" that finds a way around it. Modded / chipped X boxes, the usb PS3 key (Sony shut the originators down, but I hear on the grapevine it will be released soon from locations were Sony will not be able to do much about it) and of course, we are all well versed in whats available for the pc :P VAC v PB VAC uses the delayed ban method, but is totally intergrated with the steam network, so its very handy for selling some map packs / weapon upgrades etc. If your caught cheating by VAC, you get a total ban, and to game again you will have to buy a new game and create a new steam id. PB as a stand alone product, if your caught cheating, you get a 2 minute kick(default setting) but they also have third party anti cheat sites like PBBans, that provide cheat related MD5 scans / cheat related cvar scans / scans for detecting cheat related binds and cheat files, this in turn makes PB a very effective tool for server admins in the fight against online cheating. PB need to get the pbss issues sorted / intergrate a secure streaming method / or go the VAC route, to remain competitive as an anti cheat solution, of course they do not have a vast steam network to fall back on, so game companies who want to screw the customer out of every red cent they can, will always choose VAC as the easy option. Do game companies care about online cheating ? I very much doubt it, there would be 2 reasons to use VAC as an anti cheat solution ... its cheaper than PB, and, it has that vast steam network to control content etc. PB have done a lot better protecting BFBC2 than any other game thats PB enabled. They are detecting a lot more of the private/paid for cheats and issuing a globalguid ban to accompany the detection (instead of leaving the actual banning to the likes of us) The questions that should be asked, is why they have not provided this type of support for all PB enabled games in the past/present, and whats the reason they have started the globalguid policy now. Trusted providers (please note the use of the plural)is a useless exercise, server files get leaked and protection of stats/dlc is their only use (and thats a half arsed job) Do they provide security ? ............. not that I have seen A single trusted provider is a new slant on things, I would dearly love to see the corporate hospitality bill of gameservers.com that helped swing things their way :P or maybe Treyarch see this as a way for them to control any dlc that they will surely introduce at a later date. Whichever way you look at it, a single provider of servers is a monopoly, and that was outlawed ages ago. I'll stop there before I really get warmed up :P just a few of my personal thoughts for you to mull over. It will be interesting to see if EA actually learn anything from the COD:BO fiasco, because they surely did not learm much from the MW2 fiasco that preceded it.

{KATN} needs streaming on 75.102.38.236:28960
fozzer replied to GreyMan's topic in Streaming Questions and Troubleshooting
This is something you can do yourself via account manager. Add server then enter details. -
Please enable stream to our server
fozzer replied to elmonkeylp's topic in Streaming Questions and Troubleshooting
Just to refresh your memory, here is your original team account application; Application Date: Jul 28, 2010 Team Name: Antipro Team Tag: Antipro Website: http://www.antipro.com.uy Applicant: elmonkeylp (159201) I do not see a clantag of [C4] anywhere there. Clantags are issued on a first come first served basis, they are used mainly for administration purposes at our end, so bear no real importance. So, why complicate things ? :P Just re-apply using the same info you used the first time round. -
Please enable stream to our server
fozzer replied to elmonkeylp's topic in Streaming Questions and Troubleshooting
Your original team account application was denied because you had no viewable roster. Your original application had not been deleted, that is why you were getting access denied when you were trying to re-apply. Try now, everything should be ok :) -
All that means is that their "corporate hospitality" was a tad better than others :P

I think we have gone as far as we can re making setting up streaming as easy and foolproof as possible :P What you have to remember is that initially, there was no problem setting up streaming. The problems have started since someone at the client end changed something. All none streaming issues are client side, we add the server to the team account, and our work is done. The rest is up to the client :)

nM-Dg, the team account that you are part of has never been suspended. What has happened is that the server attached to your team account stopped streaming and all members of the team account were automatically downgraded to member. After 7 days of none streaming, the server is automatically removed from your team account and the team account is deactivated. A re-activation request then has to be made. Your team accounts current status is active, so all it needs is a server adding to it that is configured to stream to PBBans. All none streaming issues are client side. So, if you want to resolve your none streaming issue, follow these simple steps; 1. Resend the streaming initiation commands to your server, pick the method that best suits you from this list; http://www.pbbans.com/info-center-hubguide.html#ast http://www.pbbans.com/info-center-hubguide.html#rcon http://www.pbbans.com/info-center-hubguide.html#hlsw http://www.pbbans.com/info-center-hubguide.html#ftp 2. Add the server to your team account via account manager. What happens then, is that your server will join a queue (the final addition is always done by a staff member) the current wait time average is less than 5 minutes. Thats it, problem solved. The current members of your team account are; edelweiss800 (master user) nM-Dg (has never logged in) Ever hear the expression "making a mountain out of a molehill" :P I dont think I have ever come across such internet drama, when the problem is self inflicted and so easy to resolve.

Apology accepted :) When you think your ready to stream via PBBans again just ask for a re-activation here; http://www.pbbans.com/forums/account-questions-and-troubleshooting-private-f553.html Please be aware that our zero tolerance policy is always going to be there, and before a re-activation takes place, an audit will be done of your team account details (including clan members) to ensure all mandatory requirements for streaming via PBBans are met.

The mere fact that you are able to post in the PBBans forums, and an SGA to boot, are testament that you are clean as far as we are concerned. The only thing I can find is that b37fe208 has been used by players from France and Belgium. The only major anti cheat site I can't check is GGC, their site always loads 1 page for me and nothing else, but everywhere else the pbguids you provided are clean.
-
I disagree with the "once a day" theory because that just gives cheat coders / users a heads up that their cheat needs re-coding / updating. The aim is to inflict maximum damage on cheat users (without users, cheat coders are fubarred) and the way EB have employed "silent logging" followed by globalguid bans does exactly that :)

We dont do witchhunts here :P If you think this player is dodgy and he plays regularly on the same server you do, ask the server admin to keep an eye on him.
