MD5 Checks kick players for ignoring client queries
Benway replied to Swanny-CG's topic in Battlefield 1942
pb_sv_md5tool a "" v "mods/BFHD\Archives\Objects.rfa" SZ0 AT0 LEN32 NOT_FOUND syntax error pb_sv_md5tool a "" v "mods/BFHD/Archives/Objects.rfa" SZ0 AT0 LEN32 NOT_FOUND that left aside, i don't see any sense in kicking players for having a mod that has no impact on other mods, imo you have to join a BFHD Server - i have BFHD myself and joined your server today, and there defo was full fog on ivo jima. is it possible everybody has bfhd? :P -

MD5 Checks kick players for ignoring client queries
Benway replied to Swanny-CG's topic in Battlefield 1942
that just prevents modifications of pb_sv_md5toolfreq via PBUCON (e.g. streaming services), can stay as is. brief overview, you can pm me your md5 list when done (+ additional info like DL sources) if you want. -
for clients/players: BTW the old pbweb.exe still works, pbweb.rar at least for minor client updates : Pro: Simple to use, toss into game's /pb and run Con(?): not sure if this is sufficient to update an out-of-the-box pb_client installation into latest. it should although. does not work with empty /pb

General questions regarding process
Benway replied to boomadmin's topic in Streaming Questions and Troubleshooting
if you ran a website like many pubbers do, we could offer you a line of action like: make an announcement "streaming our servers to pbbans etc." and give us a list of all server admins (GUIDs) - but without we can not prove anything, so i rather see as only viable option to download our public banlist http://www.pbbans.com/mbi.php on a regular basis, sorry. -
part 1: not our problem as we are not cheater-friendly. So rather ask at the source of the problem (cheater-friendly communities) than here :P part 2: old news click. That is what/all/the_user-group cheaters get here: click http://www.pbbans.com/forums/pbbans-policy-for-harboring-cheaters-t97269.html

by the looks this just frees system resources (never tried, i prefer taskmgr.exe ;P) and doesn't fiddle around with network traffic ( indicates devs rather know what they are doing.

Read first: http://www.pbbans.com/aboutus.php We have no contracts whatsoever. We get no money but donations. We have no employees. Now troll away

a local server ban, thus ban reason is random :P

We are sorry, but the crucial violation information (example: http://www.pbbans.com/mbi-viewban-0ee933ec-vb226481.html Evidence - Server Logs, first block) was not streamed. Bans can be based on streamed evidence solely, not offline logs. Looking at the streamed logs, possibly steaming was flooded by countless pb_sv_ bindsearch Tasks.

We do not support cvar checks for AA-series games, so rather ask at AA specialized Anticheats. ( ... on a glance this might be related to a scroll-wheel fire script (popular issue in cod4) but no idea w/h a value; so apparently its not cheat- rather scripting -related

181 false positives since game update: patch_1.13.226447.0_1.14.226642.0 have been removed from the MBI and unban commands sent to hub streaming servers July 29, 2011 12:35 pm. These were the result of a mis-configuration on our end which has been corrected.

not the first burn-in test "driver" release, a driver blacklist was really required; sidenote: silly they fell back to the useless axial whisks after the way more efficient radial fan layout (GTX 28*)

No. Not possible. On that note we do not ban for "suspicious" Cvars. Nor for any suspicions. http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=info.php Our bans are based on streamed evidence. Cheat cvars are part of downloaded cheats (and we know which one for each ban), not of a game (noth to do with SP /god etc. or cheat protected MP-game-cvars. Misconception.). Discussion is cast (not in public) and will not be opened again. We will not comment Cheat related subjects in public forums here. Thus: topic closed. But our banlists are public. http://www.pbbans.com/mbi-viewban-bfcd340d-vb66411.html // we know the used public hack. http://www.pbbans.com/mbi.php?action=5&ban_id=52685 // we know the used private hack, we have it. P.S.: UAC3 & ESLWire are snakeoil and detect shit nothing.

your GUID is globally banned by EvenBalance. see http://www.pbbans.com/forums/punkbuster-hardwareglobal-guid-bans-t17811.html

it is a known bug, there is no known solution though. i would try to change ingame gfx and texture settings (options menu), as screen_mode/refresh_rate/texture_quality/texture_filter/anisotropic_filtering_mode ... to slightly lower rather than higher quality settings preferably. Another trace to follow are system Video Driver settings (nvcplui.exe), in particular Anisotropic_Filter and Antialiasing settings (turn off subsequently). i was able to reproduce something similar in cod5 ... live and ingame ;p at the time the game went tits up with 5-15 FPS and was about to hang/freeze

NEIN! http://www.pbbans.com/forums/faq-rtcw-default-guids-blank-cd-key-issue-t24415.html -
http://www.pbbans.com/tos.php#Bansubmission on another note we ban guids. no IPs. i.e. no support for outdated server versions that will accept any (keygened) guid.

oh you bullies ... he eventually tells the truth saying he never cheated :whistling_and_rolling_eyes: if you read again precisely (ok, we aren't nitpicking and just forget about the google-find ati tray tools) ... now coming up with stats, well known as valid proof to some, not all (me).
