Curious, if you run a server, why not stream it to us? Then you have the benefit of using the configs we have. SS look like he's turned drawdecals cvar off, which removes a lot of the extra things, like grass, etc. There are a couple of other settings that can contribute to this. RW

Server is definitely running punkbuster. I connected to check, just in case it was an old version, which a lot of new servers end up with, depending on the host. I would recommend trying the automated tool again, and if it doesn't work, perhaps give the manual method he linked to a try. You may need to put in a ticket with your server host. I noticed you're using the 1.5 version of the game. Your host may have to alter some permissions so that the configs can be written to the server. EA really locked things down with the latest patch, and it seems that a lot of BF2 server admins have had to go the route of a ticket to their host to get streaming to work. Your server is ingnoring the ucon packets, and as such, until that issue is corrected, streaming won't likely work. RW

cd-key stealers tend to hide in registry, and other deeply rooted parts of your computer, not your game folder. Key-loggers can also be involved. Word of advice, back up anything you need, if scans found nothing, and format/re-install, ASAP. RW

Root-kit scann As well as a deep-scan by your antivirus and what-ever you use for malware/spyware removal. You might at least save your W@W key if you hurry. Otherwise you'll need to buy new games in order to play on punkbuster enabled servers. RW

Isn't the over-lay built into the program? Just have to enable it in properties. Been a while since I used TS, my clan uses Vent, and the feature is definitely a part of that program.

If your clan is wanting to add you to their team-account as an SGA, the main account holder needs to add you, and then wait for approval. Once that is done, your view of the forums will change substantially. RW

From all I've read on various forums regarding gaming and Windows 7 in particular(simple google) the 7100 build is the only one that works. You may have to download it via torrents if you can't find it directly at the microsoft site. Your 7600 build key should work. The only reason I'm even running it is that Vista did not appreciate my upgrades for some reason. Turns out that Vista apparently requires a driver for the Q9550 CPU. The irony of that. If you can't load Windows without it blue-screening on you and going into constant reboot loops, you can't install the driver. :huh: :wacko: :blink: I had the 7100 version sitting around on another drive, so I went with that. It took to my new hardware like a fish to water. I'm eagerly awaiting the actual release, as I do plan on buying it. RW

FileZilla The best ftp tool I've found, free, easy to use, and config.

Morkeye works well for me. I have to run it off my home pc as my host does not support the mod. If you run a dedi-box, you can install it directly, and one install will monitor multiple servers. You need the build version 7100. The RTM version still causes conflicts for most PB-related games. Backwards compatibility needs to be set around the release-time of your game, only as far back as XP SP1. Gaming with no probs on COD4, W@W, Enemy Territory Quake Wars, and Enemy Territory. :) RW

And what would a site like this prove? Just curious, as we also have an alias tracker option in our MPi. And where are they getting their info from? Would be interesting to know that, as well. Looks like they're starting to share streamed data-bases and form a site of their own, based on what streamed db's allow them too, if you ask me. RW

You can local ban him. We won't add a player to the MBi here just because of in-game chat on someone's server. Screen-shots, demo's(for supported games) and using our detections found in the MCi link at the top of the forums are valid banning methods for MBi addition. RW
